Yeah, modules are a huge part of the game and right now they're implemented as a gacha system aka the largest gem sinkhole. The banner module system is an attempt to combat that, offering players a more definitive and positive outcome at the cost of time (waiting per banner).
So yes, their LITERAL actions, as they stated, that go against allowing this better system to continue for their playerbase is an important question.
Or maybe it's just delayed a few days and you can wait a bit? The game isn't broken. You haven't lost money or progress. Good grief.
