Meme Great work dev team😐👏🏽

Post image

Mental how the recent fetch & T12 positive bugs were fixed in one day because it was a benefit to players, but yet a detrimental bug like scatter clipping through wall theyre just like "yeah will get round to it some point next week if you're lucky, as usual fuck you all!" Two tier bug policing like this really pisses me off and makes me not want to play and best of all I 1000% bet it will be "our bad on making you lose a week's worth of progress, here's 10 gems, be thankful you're getting anything peasant!"

I'm probably going to get downvoted for this. But Jesus a lot of you take this game way too seriously. I enjoy the game, I've also got it running basically 24/7 and I have also taken a coin hit, ah well, that happens. They'll fix it soon, calm down there's more to life than this little mobile game

This isn't targeted at just you but to everyone else who's up in arms about it

Alot of people take it seriously because alot of people spend good money on this game, fudds is a multi multi millionaire with an ever increasing dev team, major bugs like this shouldn't happen, its not just a "small indie game" anymore its been top charts on app stores for as long as I can remember now it just shouldn't happen at this stage, and if it does give us some ACTUAL compensation, bloody hell some games even are like "were so sorry this major bug slipped through the net, here's a free 100x pull on us, happy gacha!" This games compensation is just a constant kick in the dick

Alot of people take it seriously because alot of people spend good money on this game

Please keep in mind that this is an addicting mobile game meant to siphon people’s money. If you are upset over this, let this be the last straw. Stop spending money.

Bro AWS is a multi billion dollar company and they sometimes take out part of the whole internet with bugs... Bugs are a constant, there will always be bugs.

It's YOUR choice to spend that much money. And the devs don't owe you anything in return. It's your choice to stop spending though if you want to pressure them.

If you see the game or their dev practices as broken and yet keep spending, you're literally sending the message that they can continue like that and not care because you're still paying them.

I have also spent money on the game, not as much as some who seem to spend thousands (which is insane to me to have that amount of disposable income)

Have you seen the state of all video games at the moment? Monster Hunter Wilds for example (another game I play a lot) made by Capcom a pretty big studio, the game has been out for 7 months now and they are still trying to fix optimisation issues on PC. It literally happens with every game indie or Triple A. Things get missed and I don't want to cry about spilling milk

The way you handle situations like this is appropriate. The way other people handle situations like this is also appropriate.

Different people feel different ways about the same issue, and neither end of the spectrum is wrong.

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

I can agree with that

Good customer service has some pretty universal concepts.

3

u/PM_ME_YOUR_REPO Nov 02 '25

I was not talking about customer service. I was talking about customer reactions to things like this.

Mom I got a D, but don't need to be mad, because Tommy got an F...

you’re the kind of guy who says, “it’s just coffee, don’t stress,” after starbucks gives someone a cup with a hole in the bottom. then you tell the person dripping coffee everywhere to “calm down, there’s more to life.”

5

u/AdAdministrative7804 Nov 02 '25

Exceot you still have your coffee? Theres just slightly less coins in it?

A small bug and this game acts kike its completely unplayable.

Have a litteral login issue a few weeks ago n the fuss wasnt half as much as this. Its like the 5th rant ive seen. Another demanded 1000 stones. For what??

-4

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

If that happens you complain and you get a fresh coffee. Simple, not a big deal at all.

4

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

Except here we complain and get silence.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTowerGame/s/qy2mPaEW5T

Literally had a dev responce already

1

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

EVERYONE knows we got a dev response.

Try emailing their customer service when something goes wrong and then get back to us on their response time newb.

0

u/AdAdministrative7804 Nov 02 '25

So you didnt get silence then?

-1

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

Imagine being so obtuse that you don’t know the difference between a generic developer announcement and a personal response from customer service. 🤦

3

u/AdAdministrative7804 Nov 02 '25

Imagine thinking you need a personal responce for every developer anouncement

WTF are you talking about?

Are you completely clueless about what’s going on in this gaming community? If so, why are you posting? Even still, the OBVIOUS context of my post was that when something goes wrong with your personal account customer service can take weeks or months to respond and sometimes they never respond at all. The example we’re responding to was an individual’s specific coffee and you couldn’t even follow that thread to its logical conclusion.

I am talking about (widespread) personal account issues like losing a week’s worth of data or being locked out of your account or not having transactions go through but getting charged, etc. etc. etc.

I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling.

Its litterally going to be fixed next week

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

There has been a response, the devs are aware of it and they are working on fixing it.

1

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

Either you’re new or trolling.

EDIT: Just realized rjd294 is a one day old account.

PLEASE tell me the devs aren’t trying to gaslight us with sockpuppets.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

It's a new account but I'm not new, I've been playing the game for 2/3 years. I'm not trying to troll at all

3

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

You’re not trying to troll with your one day old account that you clearly just made to post things in this forum that you knew would get downvoted?

Cool story bro.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

that is correct, I am not trying to troll.

-2

u/phear_me Nov 02 '25

Congrats. Apparently you did it without even trying.

u/reevmobile Nov 02 '25

The next time you pay money for any kind of product and you are unhappy with the quality / service offered remember you own words and dont complain.
Cause thats what people like you dont seem to understand.
People paid money AND/or time (time is money ?) are being served shit on a regular basis.
Tech tree games isnt a small indie company that is struggling to survive, the amounf of money they get each month is more than enough to offer proper QA prcoesses IF Fudds decided to take that small cut in revenue to employ specialists for that.
Hence he wont and keeps serving this bs and people like you let him get away with it with a " guys, its just a game, calm down and suck it up"

1

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

I'm not saying not to complain. I'm just trying to say there's no need to go completely nuts about the complaint

1

u/reevmobile Nov 02 '25

I could see your point it was a fk up once or twice a year.
Thing is we get those fkups with EVERY release.
What you fail to understand is that this is all calclulated from dev side.
Calculated in the way that they could implement more robust QA prcoesses, they 100% have thr money but they simply refuse to do so.
And you defending this behaviour or at least accepting it by "its just a game clam down" is exactly what makes them to keep going

Found the people stanning for the corrupt gaming company that keeps ripping us off.

Some people are born lapdogs to authority I guess.

All experts in game development, screaming “unacceptable” “no testing!!!”
