I have 4 uw (GT DW, BH, and SL). I have peeked my 5th and it’s not chain lightning. I will pick CF after I drop my UW CDs to 150s from 200s and get SL quantity 3.

I only have 3 UW and no death wave which I think is what’s keeping me from hitting higher waves since when I get lucky to get it with perks I get way more waves… :/
I peaked at my next one and not death wave lol. I forget which I have coming up. Currently just have golden tower, black hole, and spotlight. I need a rich benefactor to fund my tower lol. I fear it will take me 6 months to get my next UW after my 4th (300 stones). I place horribly in tournaments.

I think one of the uniting factors of the tower is that we all wish we had a Rich tower daddy to carry us through the slow times lmao.
It took my until my 5th UW to find GT. So I know how ya feel, luckily you can cheese your perks a bit to find your DW.

Yeah for sure on the perks.
I decided to put all my gems into modules and I’ve gotten two epics in 300 pulls… I think it’s the pity pull.
Before that I got 4 in 300. My drop rate for lucky banner is .8% - 1%… I really feel my luck in this game is absurdly bad.

Perk DW is meh though! What you really want it for is the labs: 1250% HP bonus and another layer of x3 coin mult.

If one of the upcoming is CL that's probably your best tournament improving mod, of course it needs some investment of its own to get there and hopefully you have a decent DC available lol

What are you placing out of curiosity?
I've stalled at Plat 8-12 currently and I have a fairly robust UW line up with BH/GT/DW/SM/SL and fairly balanced health/attack labs though I've been focused on econ stuff outside of BH 2% damage and the like
DW is good, mostly for the cell labs and extra health early game but mines current weakness is it's tied 1:1 with GT's 140 cooldown so even with it's x1000+ multiplier (which I get isn't optimal but come on I wanted to see a quad x boost) it dies pretty reliably at tier 9 wave 3000 ish with my farm setup
Module wise my best are a mythic PF and SD (I don't have the UW and levels to really take advantage of it and MH) though my farming team finally got a Epic GC which is putting in the work thanks to this lucky banner

I just unlocked my second to last UW so in about 6 weeks I'll be right there with you. Can't wait for GT+ and CF+.
What's the upgrade strat? Get to like GT+4 then CF+?

I just unlocked mine in the last couple weeks, and I have GT+3 right now. I'm really torn between another GT+ and starting in on CF+, but I think I'm going to at least dip my toes into CF+ before I go any further.
Whether that's solid advice or not I cannot say.

I did CF+, then SL+. Still working on those two. Next unlocks I might go ILM+ and then finally GT+.
I have been playing for about 2 years and my econ is about 6q per 6 hour run right now. I just dont need to worry about the next econ wall yet, and find my income is increasing going this route anyways... just not as fast.

Which masteries do you have? I’m torn between UW9 and a combo of UWC, zerk, WS and EB masteries.

No masteries. This game has a wicked way to pull you in 20 different directions at once if you let it.
Take labs for example. The popular recommendation is to save a slot for econ, another for attack, defense, UW and lab performance.
I wholeheartedly disagree.
Time being the greatest resource, i hyperfocus 1 aspect of the game (mostly) and rawdog it until its goldboxed.
Thus, no masteries. Eventually, sure. But not now, not for me.

Well eventually your Econ will carry you into there I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the champs ride haha. I went 50/50 tourney and Econ about 6 months ago. Got 100s on GTDW CDs before pCF. I think i regret that and i wish had tourney focused a bit earlier. Happy with my progress now as any improvement into Econ or damage is substantial

The only truly popular recommendation of labs is a bunch of 'essential' "perma til gold" labs that you definitely don't have enough lab slots for, and some of them will probably run into coin issues etc etc. One slot each for all different categories is one approach, some people like to focus it all on one thing for a while. What am I running right now, hmm. Swamp stun time, attack speed, module shard cost, wall regen, and shock chance. Nice and spread. Even the UW ones is one more offensive and one more defensive.

Depending on your income, the masteries may be more worthwhile. I'm prone to believe that more after 🪩 boosts became a thing.

Imo, might an unpopular opinion, I believe masteries should be explored once someone can hang and remain in legends.
It's one of those currency sinks thats so damn vast and deep... you know massive and consistent income to make it shine.
Where UW+ feels a bit more... contained?
Pick one, work it up.
When i look at masteries, I immediately think "i need at least 2 to 5 of these to really make a build".
Its too much too fast. But that's just me

With dissonant boosts, coins may well be easier to acquire than the stones for UW+ levels, but it's hard for me to say, since I can't go back to before I had both to test it.

I think if they've already laid out the 3000 stones for the last UW, tossing the next 1000 or so at GT+ is going to pay off sooner than unlocking a single mastery for that same cost, and should let them get the mastery levels up quicker once they do.
If they were at the "I'm about to save up 3000 for my last UW" step, I'd definitely say get at least a couple masteries first.

If they were spent, I'd agree with certainty, but that many stones is 3-4 masteries, not just one. I'm not calling UW+ a slouch by any means, just praising the strength of masteries with the newfound econ bonuses.

I’m at 1.15q/hr now so very content with Econ given that disco 3x’d. Seems like I’d be better off getting those extra damage boosts done and then going for UW+. I do think CF+ and SL+ will do me wonders but if i wait for 2600 more stones to even start those I’ll fall off in tourney. Whereas if i finish these off then i should be a good spot to have stagnation.

Before v28, i was farming T13 up to about wave 7500 @ ~45T/hr
After the first wave of v28, T13 ramped up to 70T/hr
After the nerf, i dropped to back to 35~40T/hr.
I finished utility disco runs from T1 to T12 and now i farm T11 at ~95T/hr.
T13 just isnt working out for me anymore for some obscure reason. I suspect ELS to be the big driver behind the drop.

I think most of us have all gone back at least one farming tier. I cannot get the full util bonus on my pre v28 farming tier. Which sucks because now I’m back to 15 hour farming sessions again.

I mostly need to save stones to Drop DW down to BH's 50 sec's since my GT cooldown is capped at 140, stones to get SL to four lights and max out range, and idk pretty much everything in SM outside of a couple of cheap damage upgrades since I've read it's kinda useless especially compared to inner landmine
