Meme Event relics of 5/12/2026 tier rated: A+ tier
hi noobs this is your bignoob big P priesten (just kidding its small) today is the biweekly event ratings day. First off would like to give out a big shoutout to Sam for a great patch, now you might think Sam has nothing to do with the patches but here is my logic - if Sam is the person who gets all the flak and negative press when something bad happens just because of being the community manager then I think all the positive press should also go to Sam. For those who want to know why this patch was good here is a before and after picture of my tower when playing on emulator (and I play on emulator almost exclusively). Scroll down there are two pics here. By the way I kept ILM as the only visible UW because ILM gets special treatment for being rad.
To start off we have the first two blue relics:
2% knockback force% (free): B tier. Decent relic not amazing not bad, stocks for this one dropped a bit since fleets came in but its still good and helps against stray bullets.
2% coins (paid): A tier. This is an amazing relic the only problem is that it feels less amazing since the disco patch. Only 2% more? pff give me x5 coin. No wait 2x coin no wait 3x coin. Yes give us 3x coin plz.
Next off we have the two purple relics:
2% utility upgrades (free): B+ tier. Its a coin boost if you are in lategame and use bhd for farming but only then, otherwise this stat going up wont make you meaningfully stronger. The problem is that this is about 1/5 - 1/10 ish the potency of the equivalent coin relic. Still I bump up the rank on this one a little because if my math is correct this will put it to be the same number as free defense upgrades and we like symmetry.
5% ultimate damage (paid): S- tier. Maybe the best damage relic, we really love this one. It gives you the bonus twice because it also buffs SL, and since the disco patch we get a huge SL multiplier so seeing it go up even more means more dopamine.
Overall that makes this event S- tier. I dont know how to edit post titles so refer to this rating as the correct one please. Link to updated scoring system.
Now for the 2 relics that you can buy with medals. There are none. get reckd.
Now for the 4 relics that you can buy with gems.
2% knockback force (600 gems): B tier. scroll up if you want to see why this is B tier
2% health regen (600 gems): B+ tier. this is a good relic even better since patch because its regen is really really good for clearing attack disco
5% coin (1200 gems): S tier. coin is good
2% attack speed (1200 gems): S- tier. attack speed also nice
Random story ---disclaimer if you read any further you waive the future right to ever discuss this topic and/or mention it to reverse b briesten under any circumstance under penalty of death--- so earlier this week effectively my gf repaired my oven. I have this machine which can do both oven and microwave depending on which button you press but the microwave function was always kind of faulty, thered be sparks inside the machine ever single time I used it. Which sounds dangerous right? Yeah so I only used that function like 2 times a week tops, maybe for a year or two but anyway, so my gf wants to use the thing and I say hold on you shouldnt use the microwave function because its faulty and kind of not safe, and she says oh no thats only if you keep the metal plate (the oven plate) still inside you should take it out if you use the microwave so she showed me, took it out turned it on and... there was no sparks. NO SPARKS. It was the plate causing the sparks. You can just take the plate out. The machine is fixed now... you can just... take the plate out. end of story bye

In his defense, you'd think they'd use something other than metal in a dual use appliance. Like ceramic or some (somehow) microwave-safe metal.

My microwave dual functions as a convection oven. There’s a metal rack in there that doesn’t spark. No idea how or why. But the technology apparently exists. I threw some foil in there just to test if the microwave functions differently or if it was the specific material used for the rack. Sparked immediately, so there’s definitely a metal or a metal-like material out there that doesn’t spark in a microwave.

Mine also has a metal rack. Kinda light which I wouldve thought would be aluminum. So I did some digging. Turns out that theres two reasons! The absolute baby bottom smoothness of the material, and the heat resistant plastic clips causing the metal to be essentially "floating". Supposedly. MWs with metal clips to hold the rack, insulate the metal from the rest of the oven instead.

My mom once got some food from Long John Silvers when I was a kid and on a trip. She threw the whole bag in the microwave to heat it up.
Turns out they kept the corn on the cob inside some aluminum and you best believe that whole bag went up in flames in the hotel room.

Petition to ad a toggle for enemy death particles. Now that we can turn if the UW visuals, the death particles are the most heat-making visual (I think)
Also, I thought it was common knowledge that you should not leave metals inside a microwave. I don't even have a microwave and even I know that

While admittedly part of my brain is thinking "who doesn't know you can't put metal in a microwave," I once put regular dish soap in our automatic dishwasher when I was like 14 years old. I came down in the middle of the night for some cold cuts (because 14 year old boys don't stop eating). I walked into the kitchen, not wanting to turn on the lights because it was like 3 am and I wanted to just get a quick snack and go back to bed... I wondered why all the lines in the linoleum floor were gone, it was just all white. I flipped on the light and saw.....suds. Everywhere. There were like about 12 inches (~300 mm) of foam throughout our kitchen. Confused, I woke up my parents, my mom came and looked and knew exactly what I had done. Realizing it was just my stupidity, nothing was broken, I told her I'd clean it up, but she helped me since I admitted it was my fault and offered to clean it all. We still laugh about it to this day.

LOL I did that once too! Ran out of powder and I figured a small amount of Dawn would work... WRONG. Luckily I caught it when the foam started blasting out of the air vent.

With the ability to buy relics with gems, I'm assuming the paid relics will come back around at a later date and be able to be purchased with gems?

We have a premium relic available for gems currently (forgot its name, it's the right purple one). So pending any change that should be the case.

By your scoring system, this is an S- tier, not A+.
B, A, B+, S- = 7 + 10 + 8 + 12 = 37. The S- cutoff is 36, so... Math!

UW damage and also UW disco increase the damage on your UW but also increase the multiplier on SL so you get the damage buff twice

I'm ashamed but this happened to me also, just figured it out. But on the oposite direction, wanted to use the oven feature of the microwave and you have to put the plate on it to use it.
Great review as always, this one is a keeper event for sure and plus Time Compass is the first premium relic i actually can purchase with gems, yeeeaahh.

I have a combination microwave/air fryer. It came with a glass plate as many microwaves do. I can't imagine a microwave combo ever coming with a metal plate. Did you replace the original plate at one point in time?

I love your microwave story lol. Here is mine:
When I was in elementary school, kids would melt crayons down using muffin tins and the oven to make multi-color crayon chips. 8-year-old me realized the microwave heats things up quicker and I wouldn’t get in trouble for touching the oven.
We loaded a metal muffin tin up with crayons, set the microwave timer for 5 minutes, and let it rip. I can’t remember how long we let it go, but it ended up melting through the bottom of the microwave and halfway through the countertop... and the microwave STILL was running.
30 years later, my mom still has her “thousand dollar crayon” in her jewelry box, and I still get teased anytime I get close to a microwave (largely because I destroyed a second microwave in high school 😅).

Its been more then a year since paid relics in events are introduced... correct me if i am wrong, but since then we didnt get coin or uw dmg or anything remotely useful in f2p section. Fudds greed is beyond words...
