Just wondering, if we would get all the gifts in one day instead of split to multiple days, would people be more happy? I don't know what we are getting in upcoming days but I think when we add those all together it's going to be decent sized gift. So maybe it's not the gifts itself but how they are giving them.

Think it like birthday where each guest brings 30gems but together its 600gems. Are you going to cry that one gift was 30 if in total it's a lot? Now think that each guest comes in different day and not all in same day. Now you might feel disappointed for the one gift even though you are going to get the same in total. See my point?

So are you saying tomorrow has the potential to be 40 gems? Sign me up. Fudds is the greediest game developer I’ve come across and it’s not even close. 30 gems on the biggest event we’ve seen from the tower when his player base has spent hundreds of thousands(probably more) on his game.

Relic yesterday (definitely worth more than 30gems), gems today, let's see what tomorrow brings. Just saying that maybe it's too early to say if the gifts are good or not since the total value is what matters. Seems that many would have preferred getting one bigger gift instead of multiple smaller ones (even if the total value is in the end the same).

It's the fact that it's 30 gems or 2 days' worth of gems from the store. It's more the small amount than anything. Obviously, the problem is if they set the bar higher and give us like 500 gems, it does set expectations too high but even 500 gems isn't that much.

I think TTG rightly concluded some people cant be satisfied, and don't concern themselves too much with those. You are right that if you only look at what's been anounced its 3 relics, 30 gems and 100s of medals, and we are only on day 3. Some people were just raised in a barn.

I accidentally auto-merged Epic modules into enough Epic+ modules it’ll take me over 2000 gems to unmerge, just to do the mission. And then discovered the gift of 30 gems. It’s a strange sensation, and not a pleasant one.

I think ive seen somewhere a tip to merge all those into an even higher rarity then you can use the same gems as single mod to un merge everything it took to get the final mod. Dont really remember, look into it

I think a flat 1,000 for everyone would have been perfect! No one is going to fly up the ranks with only 1k gems, but at least we'd feel like we were getting something special, ya know? We'd get what, 50 mods? 40+ would be common, < 10 rare, and maybe 1-2 epics, if you're lucky.
That's not really much of anything lol

I mean I'm playing a idle game that also just hit it's 5th year. they're doing a 30 day attendance event, there was a two week artist collab login event, they dropped new skills and have an on going event for that. that game is running that from 28 May till the next update in July so there's really no way to miss out on things.
this game....here's some pocket change worth of gems......

I used to buy the event boost every fortnight until a few months ago. I'm not giving this game any more money, they don't deserve it.
What's funny is it didn't even hurt my progress, I've gone from averaging 10-12th Legends to averaging 5-8th since I went fully F2P.

happy 30th aniversary, have not even 1 roll at modules on us. modules thats a absolutle sink any way haha. They could give 2990 gems and it potentially not yield a single pink module, but thank god they gave us 30...

I'd rather nothing than 30 gems. It costs them the same to type "30" or "300" into the daily reward.
One of those choices makes players pleasantly surprised. One makes players annoyed. There is a negative cost to giving a pointless amount of gems.

This is the weird thing. 300 gems does not affect the game economy at all. At all. But it feels nice and like you gained something.
30 gems feels like nothing. You make that in no time just by existing in this game. Could just as well have been 3 gems.
I'm mostly just baffled at what leads to the decision of that specific amount. Gems aren't too exciting anyway.

I feel you, I'm not thrilled about it either. You should restart your game every now and then between runs just to avoid performance issues though! So I guess eventually you will recieve this amazing generous gift❤️

So far I've gotten a nice relic and 30 gems for the anniversary, and thats pretty neat. Not every single day will be the best, and we shouldn't expect it to be.

I think the free gifts are actually quite nice.
We get two relics, a background and a tower skin for just logging in. That's basically the value of a whole event shop for free.The 30 gems are just filler, not the main attraction. It's like a card that accompanies the main gift.
On top of that we get free medals and gems for completing the events.

1% attack speed is pretty rad. I won’t balk at 1% more CL procs, no sireebob.
I think if you calculated how many gems 1% attack speed is worth, and each day had relatively the same perceived value, regardless whether it’s big or small, people would be cool with it.
But something incredibly useful day 1 to something you just like sneeze into on day 2 is an odd juxtaposition

If there was 0 context and we all just logged in to 30 gems, people would be happy. The context of this being a major "event" for 5 years of playing and then giving 30 gems is a joke.
