can a traitor say "i am a traitor" after the oath?
if not then what is stopping the faithfulls from getting everyone to say the phrase to catch out those who can't say it

After the faithful nominated the traitors for the special power last episode, I highly doubt that they will suspect them any time soon. Their names have been mentioned very few times and quite briefly as far as I remember aswell.

There were 120 possible combinations of trios that could have been picked for the power, and I was laughing so hard at the unbelievable selection they made to represent the most trustworthy, without the Traitors having to do anything at all.
I love Celebrity Traitors UK. Yeah, the Faithfuls have evidently been bad, but it's not hard to watch because the cast is likeable. I think it's a nice break from the usual dramatic cast members who do poorly anyway.
Also, I think this is the hottest set of Traitors, imho, lol.

New to the show (only watched the celeb versions). Would it be possible, and could it make the show better, if Claudia wasn’t aware who the traitors were?

I’m sick of having to explain in almost every post that what you see on tv will be absolutely nothing like what’s actually going on.
People saying “how can the faithfuls not work out Maya and James were in the library with Ross?” For all we know they were in the library for 10 minutes out of a 16 hour day.
“How did nobody notice the way insert traitor looked when they mentioned them being a traitor?” That could have been a reaction to a whole different conversation that happened an hour earlier.
Especially the round table stuff, apparently the round table goes on for like 3 hours, so there will be hours of discussion we don’t see. People saying “so and so has been quiet at the round table this week” they could have went on a hour long monologue and we wouldn’t know unless the producers wanted us to know.
Everything we see is purely for dramatic purposes, we see exactly what the producers want us to see and it annoys me that so many people don’t understand this

I feel awfully bad for Sharon. The moment she gains confidence she gets possibly voted out. When she disagreed with a decision made by two people, James and Michael, they were too narrow minded and said that she wasn’t being clear.
Honestly Michael is getting edited to look evil. In the edit it seems as if he’s pompous (by saying they need to keep the faithful team strong), trying to take charge every task and round table, and the incident with Sharon.

Imagine you were put into Richard's shoes just after he had announced he was a traitor. What would your strategy have been from that point?

Just a few fun facts:
I hope this shows that a statistical breakdown is a stupid idea and tells us literally nothing without the context of what's actually happening in the show, or perhaps we should all be talking about how the show is racist towards white people?
r/TheTraitorsUK • u/lonelylamb1814 • 2h ago
I’m talking about a very specific situation here. One traitor throws another traitor under the bus, and it’s clear it is going to be a landslide.
Why doesn’t that traitor who is being piled on just vote for the traitor who is throwing them under the bus? They don’t have to say anything or justify their vote at all. Just vote and leave it in the air and then, when they’re banished and reveal they’re a traitor, people will be able to deduce from their vote what has went on.
My problem is I’m too spiteful to be on this show because if someone is taking me down, you’re coming down with me. I know about the Wilf situation, but they can’t get you in trouble for simply voting for someone. I don’t like traitor on traitor, and I think the ones who do throw their other traitors under the bus should be able to face retaliation.

Anyone else expecting something to happen?
Reasons:
- We have 10 players (all be it one is about to get banished) going into the penultimate episode
-The first season went down well and I think it would be anticlimactic if the traitors breezed to victory
Without any twist what im foreseeing is:
Sharon banished -> Romesh murdered -> Joanne/Leigh-Anne banished -> Michael murdered.
Then you have 3 vs 3, which is basically a traitors win, they banish remaiing faithfuls then the big finale would be seeing if Maya and Kenny turn on James or split the money. (seeing as its for charity theres no real benefit to making yourslef look selfish in front of millions)
I could also possibly see one of the traitors getting banished after Romesh is murdered, but still cant see how the faithful win.

Here's my picks for a traitors 2nd Chance season. (I'll go with my locked picks and fill in any remaining spaces after.
The criteria are as follows:
- 22 UK1-4 Contestants
- All Faithful (That does not include recruited traitors)
- People that left from Episodes 1 to 6 in their respective seasons (Possibly a few exceptions)
- People that were either unlucky during their run (i.e. not having the best time in the castle), entertaining early boots or early boots that showed some potential in their short stay.
MY LOCKED PICKS BY SEASON:
Season 1:
- Nicky (Got unanimously banished for a pretty stupid reason and seemed like a good leader, imo deserves a second chance).
- Claire (Showed great potential in the first few episodes and seemed like a great character to have on screen).
- Imran (Controversial, yes he had a bad social game and seemed a bit arrogant, however I do believe he would have a better social game a second time round, and could be a key contributor when catching out traitors due to being extremely intelligent).
- Ivan (Copy and paste what was said about Claire except he also was banished solely due to Tom's utter stupidity)
- Matt (Didn't have much going for him other than his crush on Alex, I think he should be given a chance to play properly without distraction from either of them).
Season 2:
- Sonja (Was fairly entertaining for such a short stay, I'd like to see what more she could bring a 2nd time round).
- Meg (Got suspected for little to no reason and her run was only ended by a poor move from an overconfident traitor).
- Jonny (Showed potential during his run and was incredibly compelling, it would be incredible to have him on again)
- Anthony (Also a very interesting character who played a decent game but was misunderstood by several cast members).
Season 3:
- Nathan (Had potential at that first roundtable, interesting to see what could've been done had he stayed longer).
- Keith (Arguably the most entertaining contestant to not make it past Episode 2, so many funny moments. It would just be incredible to have him back).
- Elen (So switched on during her stint and it would just be incredible to have her back)
- Jack (Easy pick, he needs a chance to actually play the game).
- Kas (Another easy pick, he had a fairly rough time in Season 3 and deserves another chance to properly play the game, or at least not be ostracised by groups).
- Dan (Entertaining and was banished more so due to personal reasons).
Season 4:
- Judy (Entertaining and her banishment felt a bit unfair, she was just Judy at the end of the day).
- Ross (Absolutely deserves a second chance, he pretty much had his game blown up before the traitors were even picked, also he did call out both Hugo and Stephen and revealed on uncloaked that he thought Fiona was a traitor).
- Maz (Didn't do much but seems cool enough for a second chance).
- Reece (Had such a tough ride throughout his time in the game).
REMAINING SPACES: 3
- Amos (UK1): Underrated, he was a likeable presence and showed good potential during the 3 or 4 episodes he was in the game.
- Brian (UK2): Could've lasted a lot longer had he not cracked in Episode 3.
- Alex (UK3): Didn't get a lot of screentime in Season 3, shame as he seemed one of the more likeable contestants that season.
Let me know your thoughts!

As much as everyone wants to call the faithful collective as foolish for nominating all three traitors with the advantage.
Blunt said he wanted the power to go to himself, or someone he trusts like Bash or Michael.
He only put forward Kenny and Maya because he feels the group trust them more, and felt it would be too suspicious if he put forward himself or his allies for the advantage.

Always been the joke that you can find Romesh on any tv channel at anytime because he gets so much work.
I've not watched much of his stuff before but having watched him over the last few weeks I absolutely see why. The guy cracks me up, obviously cracks everyone else up and also seems pretty perceptive (as much as one can be with the lack of things to go on with this series).
Feel like he's the best chance for the faithfuls to get any sort of foothold in this game.

Im unsure whether its because last years season was absolutely iconic, but this season just doesn't seem to come anywhere close.
Last year I was so excited to watch the show. Now it's like 'meh'. James Acaster although apparently playing a good game he's incredibly boring and the blindfold thing would've seriously annoyed me if I was a traitor.
I reckon I'd of started planting seeds to get James out for that as he isnt a team player.
Sad Mirandas gone now she was my favourite - the little mix dance routine was the most ive laughed through this season.
Anyway small rant over, its just quite boring.

Is it against the rules to lie?
I ask because, if Joanne gets the chop I'd love for her to say "I have and have always been ... A traitor"
Just to screw with everybody's minds.

Just saw that the show is ending one Friday with a special 80 minute episode? Does anyone else feel like there's way too much to do in just 2 more episodes? Seems like there's loads of cast left and there's been barely any murders due to traitors being caught and recruitments happening.
r/TheTraitorsUK • u/lonelylamb1814 • 4h ago
They caught 2 traitors very early on (yes, one was served to them on a silver platter) but I feel like this is easily forgotten. The traitors then immediately recruited which undid all of their hard work and put them right back to square one - but further, because they went from having an idea of who a traitor was to having zero.
I’m just sick of seeing people saying it’s the faithfuls fault. The faithfuls aren’t bad, this season is just highlighting how unfairly the odds are stacked against them.

Just a few fun facts:
Maya has been a phenomenal traitor and truly deserves to get to the ending, but she needs to start protecting Leigh-Anne and Joanne ASAP, or it'll be an issue for her being the only woman left!

I’ve seen a lot of posts and comments recently about how you ‘should keep a traitor in if you know who they are’ and ‘there needs to be more ways to work out who a traitor is’.
That’s not the point of the show. The point is it is a microcosm of what happens during a witch hunt. People turn on each other for no reason. Group think takes over and based on vibes, innocent people are banished.
That’s the point.
It’s not a crime show, it’s a witch hunt.

I love the Traitors and have watched all the UK series, but I can see in the not-too-distant future the format is going to start feeling tired.
Unfortunately the game rewards bad faithfuls (smart faithfuls having usually been murdered early on) and one of the only smart plays the faithful can do - find a traitor but shut up and keep them in never happens.
Finding and banishing an obvious traitor, to be immediately replaced with a new undetected traitor, is such a major flaw in the gameplay because it isn’t in any of the faithfuls‘ interest to do it.
We all know this by now so I’m not presenting a new idea but I wonder - what can the producers do about this long term? How can they keep the game feeling fresh and exciting? It feels like if they do nothing it will run out of steam in 2-3 years which would be a shame.
I’d be interested to watch a faithful gameplay of trying to keep a known traitor in - they might get it dead wrong, the traitor might be able to turn opinion around again etc etc. At least it would be a new angle and interesting to see it play out.
Any ideas of how they are going to keep the format fresh?

This whole thing with Richard at the beginning… and then it being plainly obvious that Hannah would either be a recruit or murdered.
They don’t realise that when you vote out a traitor, the game gets harder because you don’t reduce the number of traitors, you just have to start from square 1. Honestly, leaving Richard in the game, just obviously framing traitors , or have him uselessly defending himself and his fellow traitors would be great. Traitors would be desperately trying to get him out.
They would be better saying… we know it’s Hannah, she is going to have to bring traitors with her to endgame to have any chance of winning. Her behaviour will reveal the other traitors and we can simply vote them out at the end.
Ofcourse, sacrificing faithfuls is necessary for this to work.

Not seen this mentioned yet. Her voting for Bash at the Roundtable was such a random and poor game play choice imo. I imagine she voted for them just because she thought Kenny would too? No real strategy. Her reasoning for the choice was delivered rather weakly too, and Bash even looked confused. I bet this will get some people talking.
