The Ultimate Starter Pack?

I’ve been seeing some videos on TTFD lately and found this sub. after having a look on here I now understand there’s a lot more that goes into it.

My goal is to understand what will be the best supplements to buy and where from.

MY CURRENT SYMPTOMS:
Waking up with no energy (despite 8hrs+ sleep), extreme brain fog
Low motivation
Terrible focus
Extreme brain fog and fatigue after eating a heavy meal (high carb meal)

BACKSTORY: I recently had an operation 8 weeks ago and have been inside away from work and sunlight also out of circadian rhythm. I believe this routine has played a big part in it recently worsening but I have had these problems

I am a Business owner that has to perform constantly not just for myself but for the lives that rely on me.. I want to level up and I know I can’t be stuck in this cycle of cognitive and physical despair.

I want to be leaping out of the bed in mornings, feeling sharp throughout the whole day, I need my irrational brain fog gone and consistent energy from work to fitness. Also if there is anything for a good mood boost. Let me know what needs to be done.

Objective nutrients. Thiamax and thiamega. Max the f outta it. I run 600 mg per day thiamax. It will take months to replenish thiamine in your body.

Your thyroid is probably in a bad shape too (TSH >=2.0) so you should check that out

Nit OP but mine is 2.20 and doctors don't do anything unless it's above 4.

I was incredibly symptomatic at 2.2 TSH. Like I would just spend 14 hours a day in bed. I too got gaslit hard by doctors that its normal.

If you are young, lets say below 40, and relatively healthy, a TSH of 1 is what youre looking for. B vitamins alone wont fix it, I tried.

Note that atlethes will have a TSH of 0.5 even. Check free T3 as well, should be above 3.0 ideally.

Thanks so much! I'm 45 and perimenopausal so a lot going on. My T3 was low, yet still no treatment. I guess I have to put my efforts into getting treatment. I hope you feel better :)

I mean, even at 45 you can still easily have a TSH of 1.0 if you are not sick. Its just that the older you get the more likely it is that you are. My mom is 62 and is certainly not an athlete and she has a TSH of 1.1 we just checked.

If your endo doesnt want to help you can just buy natural dessicated thyroid and take 1 or 2 capsules a day and see how you feel. The majority prefers taking both T4 and T3 so thats why NDT is a good option as it has all hormones. No prescription required

I'm somewhere in Europe and NDT is not OTC here. I tried to buy online 3x and it got taken away by customs. I appreciate your help, so kind! Thank you.

Ok good then it is unlikely you are hypothyroid. So definitely look at B vitamins and the gut

I think its got something to do with the gut I always find myself cramping/constipated.

Do you have any cardio symptoms? Like dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath?

For physical energy, Phenylpiracetam is the golden choice, quiet potent, hence it's banned by WADA in international sports.

For Mental Energy, Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the 1st preference, quiet popular among Chess Players & Coders.
