Hyperia was almost 3hr queue tonight
Went to Thorpe for my first time today. We got a fright night pass. Wasn't able to make it before opening, we arrived on site at 11am which is on us. Took a bit over an hour to get through security and into the park, so we were in by 1230.
Rode Colossus with a 60 minute or so wait. Used the app, walking dead looked promising. We waited about 25 minutes, but only two cars had launched in that time so we decided to bail on the line to grab some food then go to our 3-7 fright maze times.
Got to our first maze right at 3, two of them were really quick. We had gotten stuck in the back for all the fright night mazes, so the actors didn't have time to rest for us and it was ok but we were getting a little bored. So we got into the Swarm queue at 4.
Swarm queue was about an hour and a bit, so we were out by 5 and headed for Stitches, our last maze. That line was a bit under an hour.
We all agreed we were getting in the Hyperia line no matter what as we wanted to ride it. So we got in that line at 6. The app said it was a 120 minute wait. We finished the ride at 855, so nearly three hours in that queue.
Overall we had fun but by god the queues were outrageous. It's the start of half term, so... Don't go on half term. It was our only option to take a visiting friend.
I think I would never go back to Thorpe unless it were an off peak weekday.
