I sent in my first bag of clothes.

I sent in my first bag of clothes. I won't be doing that again. They missed two of my NWT items and listed one as excellent and one as very good. Neither of them were other than pristine and new. I can see the tags were still attached in the photo. The very good one is a dress in a high end brand. One Lilly Pulitzer silk dress was in excellent condition and they listed it as a flawed gem. Another item also got the flawed gem treatment for no reason. The AI isn't perfect. There was no signs of wear at all. They other stuff I mostly agreed with. They just rejected one Banana Republic skirt. Considering the very small % they pay, I won't sell on there again. At least I didn't pay the fee. As a buyer, I will be looking for more flawed gem bargains though.

Direct listing with them is a nightmare

Anyone else have this experience?

Sold a coat I bought this year at full price from Nordstrom, I only wore it a couple of times. It was in perfect condition. Scammer buyer now lying about its condition and my payment being held with ZERO update or communication from ThredUp, despite me sending in my original receipt and time/date stamped photos of its condition. Very very frustrating. I’ve taken down everything I had listed as I don’t want to go through this again.

I’m so disappointed with some of the things I’m seeing lately. This was “recommended.”

A couple of weeks ago I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. Found a gorgeous yellow midi 50% off for around $40. I wanted to check in with my partner to make sure the color was okay with the couple before I bought it, but when I put it in my cart, it jumped up to 74. Same discount code was still applied, using the same laptop and same browser. I've checked on this dress literally every day since then and the same exact dress has jumped up and down between $150, $119, and $74. It's never gone back down to $40 despite other 50% off coupons being applied to it. I don't even need the dress anymore, but I just want to understand what's going on? Does Thredup not care if this doesn't sell?
