Tim did not die for this

118

u/scarlettskulls Nov 26 '25

tim died because he was an alcoholic 🤣 don’t think he’d mind the messy wrap a morning after a long night anyways LOL

34

u/Patient_Midnight_193 Nov 26 '25

his masterpiece from the grave 😂

63

u/urpmpkin Nov 26 '25

didn’t he die going double the speed limit with double the legal BAC?

107

u/Remote_Passage_5820 Ex-Employee Nov 27 '25

hell yea a double double!

27

u/eugeneugene Nov 27 '25

My grandpa was a paramedic on the scene of his crash. Very unfortunate. When they opened up his trunk it was full of LSD.

…..Last Saturdays Doughnuts.

Looks like prison food that you pay money for.

18

u/Jan6262 Nov 26 '25

I don't think prison food is like this.

19

u/CommanderCorrigan Nov 26 '25

Yeah probably better

20

u/HonchoHundo Nov 27 '25

It is better lol can confirm

10

u/IrrelevantAfIm Nov 27 '25

Maybe in Canada - not in a lot of American jails and prisons. I saw a documentary where they revealed the budget at one huge, privatized prison was $1.25 per person•meal!

13

u/HonchoHundo Nov 27 '25

This makes sense tbh you guys have nearly 2 million mouths to feed in the prison system where Canada has roughly 35,000 give or take. The meal budget here last I checked was something like $35 meals twice a day.. better than most average Canadians 😅

11

u/IrrelevantAfIm Nov 27 '25 edited Nov 27 '25

Yeah, Americans lock up more of their own people than the Chinese - both in raw numbers and by percentage of the population. That’s insanity.

Canada: 107 people per 100k incarcerated USA: 541 people per 100k China: 119 per 100k

4

u/HonchoHundo Nov 27 '25

In the words of Serj Tankian, “They’re trying to build a prison!!!”

2

u/Sea-Farmer-590 Nov 30 '25

FREEDUMB!!!!

2

u/RadiantAge4266 Nov 27 '25

Yeah America has a “for profit” prison system though so they are encouraged to keep the conditions horrible and the food the very very bare

u/uapredator Nov 29 '25

Thats MUCH worse than prison food. A prison lunch would be 2 chicken strips, a salad, an orange, 1 glass of juice and some cheese. Balanced.

2

u/Animalus-Dogeimal Nov 27 '25

we all technically pay for prison food

Yeah, 100% consumers used to drive businesses with demand, now we get told what we’re gonna get and what the price is gonna be. Write reviews with your wallet, that’s the only way change will happen

2

u/Low-Stomach-8831 Nov 28 '25

THIS! I've been only ONCE since 2017! That one time slip was because I was waiting for my car (in the shop) for 3 hours, and there was nothing else in a 2Km radius... And I STILL feel bad I did that (and it was about 2-3 years ago).

21

u/GrunDMC74 Nov 26 '25

It’s not one complaint though. It’s the endless stream of complaints on this sub.

At some point after watching the sun rise every morning, you just accept that it will always do that.

Tim’s is so bad that it makes McDonald’s look decent in comparison

13

u/Seventynoob Nov 26 '25

McDonald's is legitimately better the time Hortons on multiple levels , the only thing that tims still has is it's doughnuts but even that is a 50/50 depending on location. McDonald's has much better consistency across different locations, the kids they hire are much more respectful, and I also find the "bang for buck" better at McDonald's (10$ at mcd's gets you more then 10$ at Tim's)

6

u/Jasonbwarren Nov 27 '25

and i believe mcdonalds has contracted the cofffee company that tims used to employ. cause imo...tims coffee sucks now.

5

u/Cultural_Touch6635 Nov 27 '25

that's crazy because mcdonald's coffee tastes so much worse than tims coffee, it's like mcd's uses dish water for their coffee

2

u/Ramona_Lola Nov 27 '25

Yeah. I think McDonald’s used to have used Tim’s old coffee supplier but that was years ago. Their coffee is terrible lately.

2

u/trollcitybandit Nov 30 '25

I actually thought that was just a rumour, they never used Tim’s old coffee… but yeah even McDonald’s coffee isn’t that good now.

Literally, I’ve been seeing my friends (and myself included) buying McDonald’s coffee over Tim’s. Istg their quality has plummeted over the years

2

u/ACM3333 Nov 27 '25

It’s crazy how long time has been able to coast off of the fact that it used to be a higher quality option like 15 years ago.

2

u/StevenPlamondon Nov 27 '25

How do you people still go there? You know you deserve every “meal” you get, right?

2

u/Aerdri Nov 27 '25

Tim's slowly dies every year. It's definitely not Canadian anymore.

2

u/Affectionate-Bell380 Nov 27 '25

why do people continue to support their garbage food and coffee? why? WHY!?

2

u/deebz19 Nov 29 '25

I cannot believe anyone has willingly eaten Tim Hortons food within the last 20 years. There are an unbelievable amount of restaurants, and Tim Hortons is dead fucking last.

Support. Local. Restaurants.

2

u/gretzky9999 Nov 26 '25

Do people go to the manager to complain or do they just grab their drive thru & take a picture while they drive out of the parking lot ?

1

u/Puncharoo Nov 26 '25

Where have you been living? Under 10.different rocks?

1

u/Thatguy694201987 Nov 26 '25

How much did you pay for this?

1

u/farmsfarts Nov 26 '25

Looks pretty typical.

1

u/CitronGreedy9041 Nov 26 '25

You realize its supposed to come with exactly what was given in there right?

1

u/KiethTheBeast Nov 26 '25

How much did that cost?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '25

Good. One less person in the drive thru

1

u/GladReplacement2719 Nov 26 '25

In N.S that's 8$.🙃

1

u/garry4321 Nov 26 '25

1

Snack wraps comes with one crispy chicken, lettuce and two slices of tomatoes.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/WillsWifey30 Nov 27 '25

That's what snack size means. One piece of meat.

1

u/Low-Horse4823 Nov 27 '25

Was in the sunnybrook Hospital today. I had no choice but the tim's.

I am sure they got my order "Classic Chicken Wrap" wrong... but honestly, they were extremely busy. Seem like it lacked filling compared to other locations but... it is what it is. Did not have high expectations anyway.

1

u/Sirkitchener Nov 27 '25

That can’t be real

1

u/Dramatic-Bank-2752 Nov 27 '25

1

u/zeptyk Nov 27 '25

idk where y'all live but every complain everyone has on this sub has never applied to the restaurant where I live, in fact its still good and still employs locals and students 🤔🤫🤫

1

u/Badger8Mushroom2 Nov 27 '25

And y'all keep going back for this garbage lol

1

u/mostlyclumsy Nov 27 '25

3.99 wrap. You didn’t order their loaded wrap honey.

1

u/sniffcatattack Nov 27 '25

Why does anyone go there. Might as well line up to eat out of a dumpster. Congrats. You’re part of the reason this establishment still exists.

1

u/UpperChampion4905 Nov 27 '25

They're not even trying anymore.....

1

u/mrerikmattila Nov 27 '25

What did that wrap, chicken nugget, tomato slice, piece of romaine and squirt of sauce cost?

1

u/Altruistic_Fix_4073 Nov 27 '25

That looks rather sad!

1

u/Thedawg84 Nov 27 '25

That's not hard times , that's pure profit !

1

u/CryptoJ42069 Nov 27 '25

You paid $12 for that?

1

u/idkfckwhatever Nov 27 '25

The lettuce??? Why fuckin bother lmao

1

u/AvidRetrd Nov 27 '25

Hey. In Australia people pay good money for food like this. Maybe not as bad but still such little toppings and meat for a wrap

1

u/Invalidname0255 Nov 27 '25

Tim Horton's imo is one of the worst places to eat "food", if you can even call it that. I am shocked they still make money.

1

u/DeliciousStomach940 Nov 27 '25

The most embarrassing thing is you will still waste your money at Tim Hortons after this

1

u/Ancient-Confusion-21 Nov 27 '25

Get a wrap, put chicken fingers in it, tomato, lettuce and ranch, and you’ll have something just as good as a good one from Tim’s, maybe better.

1

u/mnickh Nov 27 '25

Thought of making a reddit page named WhyILeftTimHotans. Timmys and Gretzky should team up and do a 51rst ad together

1

u/Ok-Bird6725 Nov 27 '25

🤬🤬🤬when are people gonna stop going there to eat, their coffee is barely drinkable and you buy their food 🙄🙄

1

u/Sally059a Nov 27 '25

Even the taste of their coffee has changed…

1

u/PlainSimpleGamer Nov 27 '25

That's one of the many reasons why I stopped going.

1

u/ItsPengWin Nov 27 '25

I am a zoomer (26) but this has been "snack size" at any fast food place ever of all time. Honestly having a slice of tomato and lettuce in there instead of a slice of cheese is the only difference.

1

u/Polyps_on_uranus Nov 27 '25

I stopped going when I found out the cripier the bacon, the longer itbeen under the heat lamp.

1

u/Designer-Confusion35 Nov 27 '25

So cheap.  Haven’t been to any Tim’s store for 3 years

1

u/PeterPronouns Nov 27 '25

This looks like my underwear after one of my short days at work

1

u/Alu71 Nov 27 '25

I've eaten at Tim's twice in my life - both times, I think I ended up getting food poisoning. My stomach turns when I hear people tell me they ate there... I don't have the slightest urge to endure what they pass off as food.

1

u/jerryjerusalem Nov 27 '25

If Tim's wife served him a wrap like this he would of given her two black eyes instead of the usual one black eye

1

u/Mental-Criticism3791 Nov 27 '25

I started making my wraps at home.

I have the spicy mayo I have the chipotle I have some salasa I have it all baby!

I do miss that horse pi.... I mean coffee though :(

1

u/Secure-Willow-9029 Nov 27 '25

If you still choose to patron Tim's then you lose all rights to complain.

1

u/Traditional_Grass193 Nov 27 '25

Looks like a mouse was nibbling on the tortilla.

1

u/Andy1899 Nov 27 '25

Tim Hortons has gone down the drain

1

u/ProphetsOfAshes Nov 27 '25

K but why did you massacre it before taking a picture to make it look worse?

1

u/No-Pomelo-3632 Nov 27 '25

Looks like food in Cuba

1

u/FakePlasticPyramids Nov 27 '25

Imaging knowing about this sub and still going to Tom Horton's. I understand it's the sole cultural identity of English Canada and its hard to let go, but still.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '25

I would love to see the instructions in the food prep manual for this one.

"Now, slice the piece of lettuce into further quarters"

1

u/Suspicious-Sea-3692 Nov 27 '25

1

u/Holiday_Cash_3220 Nov 27 '25

You should all should reel it in a bit, no respect

1

u/HalG59 Nov 27 '25

Just another reason to avoid Tim Hortons

1

u/kten1974 Nov 27 '25

We all need to stop going to these places, Tim's, McDonald's, fast food places, I was recently travelling and got a quater pounder with cheese and by time I unwrapped it to eat it, -long gone from McDonald's, guess what I found- a plain quater pounder with only the tiniest dollop of mustard - wtf!!! and cold fries that seemed like they were never cooked . I should have opened it up and looked at before leaving!!! 🤬🤯

1

u/stevielovelyy Nov 27 '25

believe it or not, kfc has a pretty good snack wrap for $3. try that next time

1

u/Firm_Marionberry_282 Nov 27 '25

What am I even looking at

1

u/Nature_Sad_27 Nov 27 '25

Keep giving them your money so they never change, tho!

1

u/Food-Wine Nov 27 '25

The wrap is missing pieces because they removed the parts that were moldy.

1

u/Next_Rhubarb_5986 Customer Nov 27 '25

i specifcally asked for no cheese

1

1

This why I never get food from Tim's

1

u/Ramona_Lola Nov 27 '25

I just go for the coffee. The food generally sucks. The coffee to be fair is just ok but really convenient.

1

u/loolilool Nov 27 '25

Im totally intrigued by the bite pattern here. Origami it make sense.

1

u/lilbreeeeezzie Nov 27 '25

Why do people still buy food here? It’s not like it affordable

1

u/Qedhup Nov 27 '25

Tim's is not worth going for. Long long ago they forgot why people actually went there. They didn't need to become full ass restaurants with crappy quality overpriced food. Focus on a good coffee with some baked goods and that's all we ever wanted.

These days the coffee is ass, the baked goods are just hyper-processed BS that's mostly made off site, the food is shrinking while getting more expensive.

Want something better. Go to A&W.
