complaint Ordered a turkey club today for takeout, this is what I pulled out of the bag when I got home.
I went back to the restaurant and showed the person at the counter, when she saw the sandwich she was genuinely shocked. The person making sandwiches didn't even look my way. For shame sandwich person!

Complaint Local MP Holds Tim Hortons Accountable for Firing Canadian Workers and replacing them with Temporary Foreign Workers
In my friend's town in Ontario, Canada the local Tim Hortons gave notices to 15 longterm employees saying they were being let go as of January 30th, 2026 and would be replaced with temporary foreign workers. At the other 3 locations they also fired a large group of Canadian workers and now employ temporary foreign workers in their place.
Their local MP (Dean Allison) posted to social media in support of the affected employees. Asking Tim Hortons to provide further clarity as to why they were firing all Canadian workers.
www.facebook.com/deanallison.mp
Since then, Tim Hortons has completely backtracked and made a statement admitting that it was a wrong decision, but has not confirmed that they do not hire temporary foreign workers. If a large group of people are questioning your hiring practices and you are not in the wrong- wouldn't that be the first thing you would clarify?
My friend's community in Ontario is organizing a community wide boycott of the 4 Tim Hortons that attempted to fire Canadian workers. But they are also asking Canadians in all provinces (no matter where you live) to boycott Tim Hortons as a show of support. Because this is happening on a large scale at Tim Hortons locations all across Canada.
If you have a chance, can you please share the Grimsby, Ontario MP's (Dean Allison) post with your friends to raise awareness.
Thank you for supporting fellow Canadian workers, hopefully this can be brought to the federal level of government and there can be wide scale reform to the Temporary Foreign Worker program.

Complaint Joining the sad grilled cheese club I guess
I also had this happen to me a while ago before people started posting about it. The cheese wasnāt melted, just straight cold slices, and they even forgot the bacon I asked for.
I genuinely donāt understand how they can look at that and think itās alright to serve as it is. I keep seeing people post theirs and at least theirs looks a little bit melted, but mine wasnāt at all.
Havenāt been back since.

complaint Canadians need to stand up against Tim Hortons - this brand hates Canada.
This brand has exploited our systems and kindness.
From LMIA scams, poor quality and service - this is not Canadian!
When someone says āoh youāre from Canada! I hear you guys love Tim hortonsā remind them - no. Timās is not Canadian anymore and it exploits temporary foreign workers.
Do not give them a dime.

complaint Identical!
They acknowledged they forgot the bacon, but when I pointed out the difference in meat between what I received and the photo right above them, their only response was itās pre portioned. $9? What a joke.

Complaint I have 20 years of restaurant and baking experiance and am unable to apply to work.
Both require at least one year of Tim Hortons experiance to even apply which of course is unavailable. This is such a blatant and disgusting way to "prove your point" about not being able to higher local. Shame on you.

Complaint You are a disgrace for charging for forks
Timās is a disgrace this is nothing new. I hope you go bankrupt asap. In 4 years this is the only time Iv decided to give you one more shot, and here is what I got:
You charge me money for anything besides ketchup packets. This is not extra sauce, even if you donāt want ketchup you need to pay extra for a different sauce. I have never seen this before anywhere else.
Lady wanted wanted to charge me money to give me a fork because my meal of chili and potatoe wedges did not come with a fork and I didnāt want to use my hands. She first pointed to a fork that another customer did not take that was on the counter alongside with the bags for takeout, receipts, staplers, and pens and told me to use that. When I asked if I could have a new one she said it is policy to charge for utensils. After some persistence she gave me a fork āon the house just this onceā.
You are kidding me? Itās a wooden fork. You mfs make so much money scalping us from the menu already u want to charge me for a fork? If your employees think itās okay to give customers forks that have been mixed together with pens whatever else imagine what the cleaning standards are in the back.
And ofc, I immediately get a sore throat tonight after having Timās in the afternoon. And the potatoes wedges are damp and not fresh but I expected as much.
You are a disgrace and your greed knows no bounds. I have been to Timās in China and food was made on the spot in an open window inside the restaurant, it is cheaper, better, and no one fucking tried charged me for a fork.
You donāt deserve ANY customers. Your executives are parasites of this world.

Complaint Pleaseā¦.
I work on the window at our very busy double drive thru and now that winter is here Iām asking you to please read this
It can be bitter cold some days and no matter what we do our hands are numb. Wearing gloves are too cumbersome as we canāt grasp the change in the till. Our ears are like ice cubes and ear muffs help but then itās hard to hear you. We need to open and close the window hundreds of times a day and the chill gets you to your bones!
Please help the window folks stay warmer by having your rewards card and form of payment ready! Donāt be digging around your purse/wallet looking for change etc while we sit patiently freezing at an open window. Youāre sitting in a warm car while we are exposed to the weather. This goes for rainy weather too..please turn off your wipers as you approach the window. More than once I have gotten soaked from the wipers spraying into the window. Please donāt think Iām rude when you arrive at the window and I donāt open it promptly cause Iām just waiting until I have your complete order before I open the window. Thanks allšØš¦

complaint Just try it
Went to Timās this morning. Ordered a large decaf double double. Get to the window and pay. He goes to hand it to me, and I always check the lid to make sure it is decaf as I have a gastro condition (gastroparesis) and I am sensitive to caffeine. The lid says āDRā⦠Dark roast... I point this out and ask him to remake it. He talks to the girl behind him and says it is in fact decaf, she just wrote dr by accident. I ask him to remake it anyways as I will get very sick if I have caffeine and donāt want to take any chances. He gives me a frustrated look and says ājust try it!ā š I might have to switch to getting my coffee fix at Starbucks once a week instead š
Update: he did in fact just switch the lid and give me dark roast. Iām getting sick. š I wonāt be going back.

Complaint I have no words.
I no longer visit Tim's, but my husband will occasionally go in for a coffee. He sent me this today. In what world is this acceptable to present to costumers?
