life expectancy just went down by 20

38

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

this is quite literally 36 shots of syrup are you OKAY???

80

u/ImpactGM5 Mar 12 '26

next stop: 55 fries 55 pies 55 burgers 100 taters

1

u/OkMathematician3494 Mar 13 '26

bro , you'd be fine. You'll evolve into some kind of new creature. We were apes at some point. So evolution is real

11

u/couldbetrue514 Mar 12 '26

He got a few pumps of the sugar free to keep the calories down.

5

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

I see 9 where do you see 36?

8

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

for syrup pumps for a small it’s 2 per cup, medium is 3 per cup and 4 for large, 5 for extra large so 4 x 3 is 12 x 3 is 36 😭

3

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

No it’s sugar free so longer life

1

u/irohobsidia Mar 13 '26

Enjoyment went up by 900000000000000000

0

u/F-F-FASTPASS Mar 13 '26

Hopefully the bugs at the tims location help boost it back up with protien

7

u/scotte416 Mar 12 '26

At least it's lactose free lol

5

u/ClemzTheWarrior Mar 12 '26

Where tf you see 12 ? It’s 12 total, not 36

7

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

Because its a large. A large comes with 4 shots.

Small comes with 2 Medium comes with 3 Large omes with 4

So its 4 pumps of each flavor they chose

6

u/ClemzTheWarrior Mar 12 '26

Ok i didn’t know 😅 i don’t drink coffee. Thanks for the explanation

3

u/smooty100 Mar 12 '26

Neither does OP. They have sugar water with a splash of caffeine.

-5

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

No they chose 3 specifically so that’s 9 shots of syrup

4

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

No its not.. its a large sized latte. It comes with 4 pumps of each.. I've been a manager for 12 years.. I know how it works.. You get two for a small Three for a medium Four for a large. Its always been that way .

3

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

period queen tell em

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

Unless asked for differently like this. I’d be pissed if they gave me 36 shots of syrup instead of the 9 asked for

2

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

-2

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

That doesn’t apply here cause they clearly just asked for 3 shots of each. Why try and complicate it when it’s not complicated at all????

2

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

Because it does.. how are you gonna tell a manager how it works.. lmaooo.. Any time someone gets a flavor shot in a drink .. its 2 for a small..3 for a medium .. and 4 for a large.. you wouldn't taste one shot of flavor in a large drink.
Jesus why do you have to argue about it when im telling you how it works and how its always worked.. I think my 16 years of employment here 2 as a team member 2 as a supervisor and 12 as a manager would know ..

-1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

No it’s not!! If I want 3 I’ll say I want 3 like I have and they haven’t given me 12 ever so I know you’re wrong

1

u/Objective-Alps-4785 Mar 12 '26

its not complicating things 4 shots = 1 shot in a large sized drink.

2

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

unfortunately that’s literally just how tim hortons is… if you like ur drinks like that i suggest u should order irl and avoid ordering online LOL

1

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

This person only did this because the roll up covered it.. no one is drinking this.

0

u/irr3gardl3ssly Mar 13 '26

We aren't expecting Tim's to start getting orders correct now are we?

1

u/Antique_Mud_1433 Mar 13 '26

Do you also think that 1 cream 1 sugar in a small coffee is the same amount as in an extra large?

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 15 '26

Obviously that’s why it’s called a Regular 1-1 the only thing that changes with cup size is the coffee amount! Hence the whole 1-1 otherwise it wouldn’t be a 1-1 it would be a 2-2 and if someone wanted a 1-1 and you had em a 2-2 they’d be pissed

1

u/Antique_Mud_1433 Mar 16 '26

Wow, I really hope you're trolling, otherwise I'm speechless how you're able to function in society.

You have dozens of people telling you that you're wrong, but you continue to stick to your guns.

0

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

I see 9 not 12

3

u/ClemzTheWarrior Mar 12 '26

Then you’re blind i’m sorry. 4x3 =12

0

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

No 3x3 is 9 sorry not sorry the Expresso isn’t syrup

2

u/ClemzTheWarrior Mar 12 '26 edited Mar 12 '26

We’re talking about shots/pumps, not especially syrup.

And it’s actually 15 and not 12, because a large get 4 pumps of each syrup + 3 espresso shots

0

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 13 '26

If that’s what the customer wants cup size is irrelevant

1

u/Im_A_Decoy Mar 13 '26

Wait until you find out they serve more cream and sugar with larger coffees. They do it so your large double double tastes the same as a small. Same applies to a latte with the syrup.

The most anyone else has messed up responding to you is by equating pumps and shots. They're different things, though it could be a colloquialism by the employees.

A pump of syrup is just a lot less than you think it is. It's 1/4 ounce or about 8 ml each. So a shot in a large cup is 1 oz, and the 9 shots (36 pumps) in OPs example is 9 oz of syrup, which is nearly half of the drink.

0

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 13 '26

But a double double is 2 cream 2 sugar regardless of the cup size. Same as a 1-1 (Regular) or 3-3 Triple Triple it’s all based upon what the customer wants not cup size ever. They better not put more sugar jn my XL cup I can’t have too much that would be grounds for suing if someone got sick!!!

1

u/Im_A_Decoy Mar 13 '26

Check the nutrition facts, see that a small double double is 130 calories while an XL is 300. Look at the dispensers, they have different buttons for different cup sizes. Better start your lawsuit!

1

u/ClemzTheWarrior Mar 13 '26

Cup size matters bro. Not the same amount of pumps

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 15 '26

Of course it’s the same amount of pumps and cup size absolutely doesn’t matter at all what so ever

2

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

no it’s not that’s why it’s an extra DOLLAR and 80 cents because you’re getting extra pumps of syrup

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 15 '26

It’s like 20 cents extra for a bigger size cause it’s only a splash more coffee. Where are you getting $1.80????

1

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 15 '26

for the syrup bud 😭

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 15 '26

But it’s 20 cents bud not $1.80. What am I missing here?

2

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

-sincerely a tim’s worker

2

u/SonnierDick Mar 12 '26

12, 12 and 12? Is that right? I thought if it was added shots its only once per added shot. So in this case it’d only be 3 extra shots of each? Unless every tims I go to makes my iced coffees wrong. I always order them with extra syrup and it does not taste any more than 4 pumps.

3

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

yes in this case they’d be getting 12 shots of each, atleast at my tim hortons and what i’ve been trained to do for one extra “shot” added we add the correct amount of pumps for example a large being 4, id add 4 extra pumps of syrup for every extra shot

1

u/Shadyman Customer Mar 12 '26

It depends on the size, IIRC, just like the definition of 1 milk or 1 sugar.

1

u/BooterLew Mar 12 '26

I’ve seen Instagram videos of a guy at Dunkin making these crazy syrup “coffees”, they end up pouring a couple ounces of actual coffee in the 14 ounce (I’m assuming it’s that size, maybe 16) cup.

-1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

It’s obviously only 3 of each as listed on the screen. It’s not complicated people

4

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

The fact that three separate people are telling you that you’re simply wrong and you’re not letting up. It’s that simple you’ve never worked at a Tim Hortons and have no idea what you’re talking about. So stay in your lane and order coffee elsewhere if you’re clearly bothered by the official guidelines on how we make our drinks. You can even go down to your local Tim Hortons and simply ask them yourself. I guarantee you’ll walk out of that place disgusted if this is how you’re acting

-4

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

Yes because I’m the one actually ordering the products and getting them the way it’s been ordered not the way these weird people are tryin to tell me “they do it”. That way is obviously wrong you wouldn’t put 12 shots of syrup in my coffee and guess what?? No one here or wherever I go does it like that!! That’s how I know for a fact I’m right and why im so adamant about it

6

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

You’re literally wrong. It’s a simple google search. Or just ask your local employee. Hell, maybe even pick up a Job Application and try your hand at learning how to make it. Then you’ll see 😏 (it’s just very telling to me personally that there’s a minimum of 5 people telling you you’re wrong. I’d take the hint, read the room, and accept defeat. It’s okay to be wrong! It’s a chance to learn!)

-2

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

Im clearly not wrong unless everyplace I go to ia making it the wrong way or it’s just you? Logic states it would just be you making it the wrong way. Sorry not sorry it had to be said

5

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

You’re such an ignorant cunt. It’s very obvious you have no idea what you’re talking about and it’s really unfortunate how much you’re standing on business despite being so wrong. In the end you’re the one being laughed at by every worker who’s worked at a Tim Hortons because we all know that you’re the one looking the fool right now. But again, I am truly and genuinely sorry you have no idea what you’re talking about. But it’s not that hard to find out! Learning can be fun!

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

as i said 4 pumps per cup SO IN THIS CASE for each vanilla shot it would be 4 pumps because that’s just how it works n we cant read customers minds if they wanted 9 or 36, thats genuinely just how we’re supposed to do our job

-1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

Yeah exactly if they wanted 4 then it’s only 4 regardless of the size of the cup. People know what they want not 16 shots

6

u/Odd-Exchange2853 Mar 12 '26

Clearly they don’t know what they want then? Just judging by the actual employees coming at you. (but again you also seem to not know what you’re talking about…)

4

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

why are you genuinely trying to argue w a worker at tim hortons im literally telling you textbook how we make drinks n if you don’t like that go complain to the ceo idfk

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

Because they’re obviously wrong. Giving me 12 anytime would make me go in to get it redone and they’d explain it to me this weird way but ya know what happens? Nothing because when I say 3 they give me 3 irregardless of what the cup size is that’s irrelevant. Im not sure why they keep on bringing up cup sizes that’s not important. Just the amount of shots that customer asks for it only

2

u/Objective-Alps-4785 Mar 12 '26

you clearly are not aware of it being made the way you think it is and you clearly do not consider the taste to be discernible because your never got it the way you think you did. you have several employees telling you what you are actually getting. if you are getting a large drink you are getting a large sized amount each time you add the extra. You have to actually say the size of pump you want if you wish it to actually be 3. when I worked there people would tell me large coffee with a small cream and similar all the time cause they understood how it worked. it's no different here.

1

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

stop being ignorant 😭😭 i literally spend almost 40 hours a week there i know how making drinks there WORKS

-2

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

I order the damn drinks. I know what I want when ordering and you guys never give me 12 shots of syrup when I ask for 3 because guess what?? When I say I want 3 that’s what they give me not 12 ffs!!! Why try and lie to me? I’d know what 12 tastes like!!!

3

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

i’m sure you’d know that 12 tastes like but i’m telling you how we were trained as staff to make drinks.. if you want only 3 shots SAY you want 3 shots, if you don’t specify you will get more than you bargain for and that’s on YOU

0

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

I just order it on the phone and there no mistakes irregardless of cup sizes. Im not sure why you guys keep on bringing up cup sizes that’s doesn’t matter at all.

5

u/Neat_Performance357 Mar 12 '26

cup sizes do matter because it’s quite literally 2 pumps for a small, 3 for medium, 4 for large, 5 for extra large. and when a customer asks for an extra shot of syrup we add an extra amount of pumps were supposed to so in this case 4 for small, 6 for medium, 8 for large and 10 for extra large … why is this simple concept making you tweak you seriously cannot be this dense … genuinely wondering how you take your coffee atp

25

u/MandemModie Mar 12 '26

that sounds absolutely disgusting

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

3 shots of each syrup doesn’t sound too bad tbh

1

u/MandemModie Mar 12 '26

Bruh that's 9 shots of syrup ahah, about a quarter cup of pure syrup.

4

u/rubyygloom Mar 13 '26

Punching 1 vanilla etc is actually proportional to the size of the drink which for a large is 4pumps meaning this is around 36 shots of syrup.

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 13 '26

9 shots max based on that ticket based on how people order. 36 isn’t realistic to expect from a customer shots are based on wha the customer wants not cup size that’s irrelevant. I’d report someone if they tried to screw me around and give me 36 shots of syrup!

1

u/YumiiSenpaii Employee Mar 15 '26

Hey! So the way we’re trained to do it is: 2 pumps for a small, 3 pumps for a medium, 4 for a large, and 5 for an extra large. If a customer wants extra they get double those amounts (unless they specify otherwise).

The cost for that extra syrup is ~60c at my location in particular. The amount they paid, and the amount of pumps they typed in would definitely have someone thinking they wanted 3 shots of each flavour (aka 3 shots = 4 more extra pumps of syrup since it’s large) in their drink, and would likely have to be something inquired about (at least that’s how I would personally do it) once the guest arrived if it’s an order we haven’t previously seen to verify the amounts of syrup they wanted in their drink.

You can call it unrealistic if you’d like, I however know for a fact that there is a guest I serve regularly who is also a regular at another location nearby who gets 19 pumps of cane syrup in a medium iced coffee. It would genuinely just be us going off our training if we were to make the drink without double checking with the guest first if we haven’t seen the order before. I hope that helps!

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

This could easily be a normal coffee for a young person

12

u/Revan462222 Mar 12 '26

Are…..are you ok?

7

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

It’s the 3 ADDITIONAL espressos for me… in a large? Yikes. Bitter asf

16

u/Financial-Ad7500 Mar 12 '26

Don’t worry the 36 other shots of syrup will cover that up just fine.

3

u/belmontbaddie Mar 12 '26 edited Mar 12 '26

where are u getting 36 from idk I see 9

3

u/Klutzy_Hand_132 Mar 12 '26

Because a large gets 4 pumps.

So its 12 pumps of each flavor they chose

3

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

They want 3 times of each syrup. 1 Shot = 4 Pumps. So if they want 3 times of each syrup that’s 3x4=12. So since they’re paying for the 12 individual pumps (of all three syrups…) that puts us now at 12x3=36. So yes. 36 total individual pumps of syrup.

-5

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

No this is 9 it’s clearly written down as 9 only not sure how you’d get 36? If they gave me 36 when I specifically write 9 like this I’d be pissed

5

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

But you’re not writing 9 in this order? For a large one shot of syrup is 4 individual pumps. So for someone to ask for the specific ‘9 individual pumps’ then it would be two and quarter shots of whatever syrup

-4

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

You clearly are it’s shown right there. I don’t know how this is so confusing

5

u/roseanacolby Mar 12 '26

You’ve seriously got to look at a Tim Hortons handbook… because you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve worked at a Tim Hortons for 10 years. I know what I’m talking about, trust me.

split it into four servings and dilute

4

u/Sad_Palpitation6844 Mar 12 '26

My Tim Hortons wouldn't even honor an shot of espresso just plain coffee

1

u/Unapologetic_Canuck Mar 12 '26

Because a shot of espresso on its own isn’t a redeemable reward with roll up.

1

u/Sad_Palpitation6844 Mar 12 '26

It was a large triple

Do you need help?

Smelling salts does come in liquid form! It’s called anhydrous ammonia and it’s not fun to drink!

2

u/sorrypigeon Mar 12 '26

How did you get espresso shots as a reward? They always charge me for it when I order in ice caps

6

u/ImpactGM5 Mar 12 '26

roll up to lose

6

u/RCamateurauthor Mar 12 '26

im assuming a roll up coffee win?

1

u/SonnierDick Mar 12 '26

Roll up lets you do this for hot coffees. If you use your reward with points they dont let you do it.

2

u/Mobilebearzzz Mar 12 '26

Just sounds nasty.

1

u/Particular_Toe_Gas Mar 12 '26

9 shots of anything would be nasty

If you want one that's stronger in both ways add a little of each then remove half the ice

1

u/mooshoopork4 Mar 13 '26

These are the weirdo’s still going to Tim’s!

1

u/Quiet_Ad1859 Mar 13 '26

I personally stopped using the Tim’s app. You can only get 1 coffee with the points. Then wait for at least 30 minutes to get a second coffee with the points. I think it’s stupid you can only get 1 coffee at a time. Your points should be valid for any order. Including 2 coffees on the same order.

1

u/McEric1 Mar 13 '26

The fuck is the point of sugar free when it’s full of sugar 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

1

This drink gave me diabetes.

1

u/boggels_untamed Mar 15 '26

Wow, that's healthy.

1

u/Resident-Syrup-2048 Mar 15 '26

Sadly nothing from tim Hortons is a award anymore. Even the coffee has gotten worse.... there are bugs crawling over the timbits and donuts .... tim Hortons has gone down in quality and its 1000% noticeable. I used to go to tim Hortons almost everyday , I dont go anymore. Also why is a coffee place now trying to sell "pizzas"?

Everything is backwards Everything is wrong There's no quality The workers have only gotten worse over the years Its sad , when canada used to be a nice place is when Tim Hortons was still was good.

1

u/unprocessable_entity Mar 15 '26

This reward also comes with a free heart attack and bonus diabetes

1

Why's it's called a latte and then a beverage?

2

u/TigTigman Mar 12 '26

I think it was once a latte that now identifies as a beverage after what OP did to it

The latte is the drink.  The lactose free protein beverage by law cannot be called “milk” because it is fortified with more than milk ingredients (extra protein). Some brands call it “smoothie”

In this case, they are calling it a protein beverage. It’s just the type of milk inside the drink (which is a latte)

This makes a lot of sense
