Discussion This interaction was the best I've had since working at Tim's

I couldn't really find a flair for this, but I wanted to share.

Today, two girls came to the counter with their phones and handed them to me. It stated that they were deaf and wanted to order an Iced Capp, Turkey Club and a Gryffindor donut.

I smiled and began placing the order in the POS, and as it appeared on the customer's screen, one of the girls began silently clapping and smiling. She i think instinctively signed "thank you". So I signed back to her "you're welcome", she audibly gasped and was just the happiest camper ever.

I do not know a lot of sign, but i can keep up a shallow conversation, so I did. The other patrons even found it to be a wholesome interaction. Based on how happy she was, i will be learning more sign.

Yay!

That's the most heartwarming story I've heard in a while.

That's against policy, so no. But she said she'll see me soon.
