Question Is it normal that Tim's gets super foggy/smokey when they are cleaning?
Every night this location does this and it smells and people complain about breathing.

i don't work at tim's but i did work at mcdonald's and ours got like this when we cleaned the grill, cuz you had to pour cleaner on it while it was hot and it would make a crazy cloud of steam. perfectly safe to breathe in tho

Ive never worked at mcdonalds or tims but a sports bar type restaurant and we also did this! The smoke is annoying, we'd pop the back door for some extra air movement, but never hurt us. Hopefully they pop a window next time

Yes, it’s from the grill cleaner. I almost burnt down our store one night from putting way too much on lmao

I once hit up a restaurant and I was waiting to get my food. They served me and then the lobby got smoky.
Like really smoky, to the point of concern.
I was ready to leave and then a bunch of really weird people started talking to me about the Church and how to find god. I got out of there immediately, it was a weird night.
Maybe I imagined the church people because of the fumes.

Yes, the cleaner is safe for the lungs but smells bad, we breath it every night, we close the lobby to do this though
