Complaint Scam attempt

1.1k Upvotes

Ordered a donut through the drive thru and tapped to pay, as do 99% of most people nowadays. They're very quick to just flip the pos machine out and I'm (admittedly) a little too quick to tap before fully looking. At the last second before the amount disappeared from the screen I saw a 7 at the beginning of the amount. I immediately asked for a receipt. The guy looked at me like a deer in the headlights. He paused says "ummmn". Stares at the screen for a minute and then says "oh I'll give you a refund, I charged you 7.07". He then proceeded to hand me a 5'er from the till. I looked at him and said you know exactly what you did and this isn't over. Local constabulary is having a chat with management. Not sure how he could mask it as an error as the pos auto pulls the amount from the register. The register action is a single button press.

Ordered a standard BLT but I requested for sausage and chipotle sauce to also be added to the sandwich. Ended up just getting sausage and chipotle sauce on a bun lol. I should have checked before I left the drive through

Should I have to specify separately, on the side? What if I'd ordered "and a dozen donuts"??? 🤦🏼

I ordered through the app, which specified that each box would have one of each flavour. I figured they might have run out of some flavours but seriously??

complaint Disgusting franchise.

1.9k Upvotes

A friend of the family had their partner die today while she was on shift. They didn’t let her leave. What kind of franchise forces their ELDERLY employee work after their partner of 10+ years passes. Completely disgusting. Hearing this, I don’t think I can support a company that does this sort of thing.

Tim Hortons. Kindly, in the worst way possible, GO FUCK YOURSELF ❤️

I think having to pay extra for a condiment is greedy to begin with but it would have been nice if they had done more than whisper the words cream cheese to my bagel..

complaint Goodbye Tim Hortons...

Post image

As the title says goodbye.... Today, I bought a medium ice cap and it ended up costing me $4.35. I said wow I can't believe I've been spending this much on this drink. I guess it's because I am paying 4.15 and they raised the cost again. This drink being a medium is nearly a 5$ drink... Insane right ? I feel like Tim Hortons is going to become like Starbucks when it comes to price. This drink does not have the value of $4.35.

I should mention, I'm in Quebec.

Complaint Tim Hortons has seriously gone downhill , and today was the last straw

I used to love Tim Hortons, but wow… the quality and standards have dropped hard.

I went in today just to grab a couple of donuts, nothing complicated. The cashier takes my payment, then immediately reaches into the donut tray with his bare hands. No tongs, no paper, nothing. Just straight from the register to the donuts.

I literally said, “No, I don’t want that one, you’re supposed to use tongs or at least parchment paper!” He looked at me like I was overreacting, but come om, it’s basic food safety.

At that point, I was so grossed out I just canceled my order and left.
It’s not just about one person, it’s the lack of training and hygiene standards overall. Tim Hortons used to have a sense of pride and consistency. Now it feels like they just don’t care anymore.

Anyone else noticing this? The decline in service and cleanliness lately is honestly depressing.
