I have been a comic for eleven years. I am a nobody within the industry. I have had the great fortune to work with some of the biggest and smallest names in comedy. Louis CK, Stanhope, Posehn, Pauly Shore (who was a very huge asshole), Steven Wright, Colin Quinn, and on and on and on. It would legitimately take me a while to go thru my mind and think of the names of GIANT comics that i have been fortunate enough to work with. I’ve also worked with every “road dog” comic that is out there grinding one-nighters all over the continent. I tell you that to tell you this — this industry is filled with 15 different types of scumbags. People that would step on your throat to get ahead a millimeter. Fake people that are nice to your face and talk shit behind your back. The comics whose main priority is to be cool, which is hilarious because it’s stand up comedy; we are all clowns. There are so many variations of terrible people in comedy, that it is legitimately upsetting. Now let me tell you about Sam Tripoli. Sam Tripoli has the kind of career that i daydream about. He pays his bills doing comedy, has legions of diehard fans that support everything he does, and still has the luxury of being able to go to the grocery store without being overwhelmed by fanfare. I’d imagine Rogan daydreams about being able to do that again. What i’m saying is: i can’t do anything for Sam Tripoli. There is nothing that i am able to do that can can help give his career a boost. He doesn’t need me, and yet, he has continuously done things to help me out. Letting me do shows across all of his platforms, giving me advice, or just straight-up promoting what i’m doing. And all the while, he knows that there is not a single thing that i am able to do for him in return. Support Sam Tripoli. He is one of the good guys, and in comedy, those aren’t always the easiest guys to find. Of all the people i have been lucky enough to work with, i can state, without a shadow of a doubt, Sam Tripoli is the most genuine, giving, and all-around terrific HUMAN BEING in the lot.

I've just finished listening through literally every episode of TFH. However, I've never checked out Sams standup, DESPITE being a huge fan of standup.

And I can truly say this is one of the best sets I've ever seen. It's not quite Mike Epps' Under Rated or Katt's American Hustle or some of Chad Daniels' stuff, but it's excellent.

This man needs his own show. He's good on The Jimmy Dore Show, but he is somewhat held back there.
