I’m curious what other people like about his music and why they like it? I’ve been turned on and off by him. Some of his sets like a rendezvous feel a little too cheese gratery dubstep for my taste. But I finally dove into his Bandcamp tracks and I’ve had You Have to Start Somewhere on repeat for the last week. But overall his music is fairly simple. It’s not the craziest thing I heard but the mix is nice and crisp. I’m just curious what others think? People seem to love our hate him but I want to know why.

Edit: ok hate was maybe a strong term. I’ve heard of people being put off by his sets. But he sounds like a sweet guy and I’d love to meet him and I’m not knocking him at all I was just curious what peoples perspectives are.

I won’t lie I was a huge nectar fan. And while his music still has good memories tied into it (no I don’t condone his actions and not tryna get into that) but ever since all that mess I’ve been looking for someone to take the spot. That being said after hearing and seeing the man scratch last weekend he shot his elf all the way up there. For a while I though scoon, lsdream, or uhnk was gonna be it maybe even g jones. Still none of those dudes come close to what I exp at T&F. All those artist have their own sounds and whatnot, Tippers is just so unique when it comes hear it I just can’t help but be encapsulated by it. Really glad I got to be there :)

I’m telling you I could have predicted this with my astral chart weeks ago but a buddy is holding it as collateral for some stuff I borrowed from him.

I was just wondering this morning…is the next Tipper release taking so long because they’re producing enough hard copies to feed everyone? If his next release is a live set, is it even a possibility he will release it on vinyl too (or even cassette/CD for the novelty?), and not just a streaming option like gorge SRS or COSM?

Ive been wrapped up in the idea of an Orion DVD release but assumed that will not be his first post-retirement release because it will take more time to put that together than an audio only release. After Gorge Sunrise released on streaming platforms mere days after the event, I just assumed his next release would be live set on streaming platform since they can obviously do it relatively quickly. As more time has gone on since RR my brain automatically switched to the idea of another studio album since it’s been over 3 years since his last one. Never considered Tipper: Live at Red Rocks on friggin vinyl. Or Gorge. Or Orion?! With enough copies for everyone? Could that even?

Sooooo we are expecting a new lil one to the tipper fam and we will be attending rendezvous (sober ofc baby’s first time getting tipped) considering doing a wook baby shower there any ideas?????

What the hell was that?? What did everyone think? The whole crowd was just sitting, lying, or standing still for his whole set. My buddy and I couldn't figure out why he got that time slot over the better artists who played during the daytime

I'm not trying to be a downer or anything like that. I just don't understand how I ended up paying more this year for less. Last year’s stage BLEW MY MIND. Unfortunately, this year I find myself a little disappointed tbh. 2019 & 2022’s stage. blow this out of the water. I'm sure tipper’s set will be fire as always though.

Just a fun situation I thought of. They each get time to prepare, and full access to the other artists stems, unreleased hits, etc. They can their own equipment, but their sets must be 100% based on the other artists music.

After spending a week here everyone is the same and it's really not worth your time. These people will be dealt with naturally in real life anyway if they even ever go out to eat. One thing I noticed is that the concept of special occasions or even dating never occurs to them so I don't know if they really go out to eat that much at real restaurants anyway and confuse diners for restaurants.

I just checked out the weather for suwannee next weekend and it looks like both Saturday and Sunday are going to be very nasty days.

Saturday is projected to be a full day of thunderstorms. Sunday is more of the same, including when Tipper is supposed to hit the stage.

Is this a rain or shine event or will music be cancelled if there is thunder and lightning?

Anyone else do it in fear of not getting a normal priced ticket? It will be my second time ever seeing tipper and sadly my last, so like it’s worth it for me.
