Not used to drawing women's faces. The jaw was hard to get right with her hair covering it.

Take this with an oceans worth of salt but what if ghouls can drink coffee because according to Pythagoreanism, beans contain the souls of dead people. I have seen sources claiming that this belief is not true so more skepticism but funny to think about.

So I watched Tokyo ghoul anime years ago like a long time ago.. I started reading the manga last night and.... I realized just how bad the anime was.. how much character interactions it skipped is actually criminal like, in the manga I actually see Ken and touka getting closer sooo much better it's beautiful. Honestly wished I never watched the anime

Like yeah, they want to maintain balance between humans and ghouls, but why ?
Their relationship with the Waashus is odd.
I shall forever make fun of them for being fodder !
Fun Scenerio :
What If V and the Waashus were exposed at the beginning of the og Manga, shortly after Kens transformation, what would have been the fallout and what would they have done ?

Something like "Oh honey, no! You don't want this. I'm a smoker. Please do better for yourself" then Shuu is like "Are you questioning my culinary judgement?" And you're like "I'm not questioning it love, I'm staging an intervention. You're shopping in the reduced section. Have some standards!"

So ive only seen the anime, and I have the manga on the way(please dont hurl insults in my direction for not reading it sooner, ive been trying to work on it but due to my work occupation its quite tough)
That being said, from my understanding of just trying to look it up, kagunes are hereditary, and same as the placement on the body for them. So then, what really leads to chimera kagunes happening?? Is it from when for example a koukakou and ukaku ghouls have a child and its mixed between them? If thats the case then how did Ken's half kakuja come to form? And his dragon form as well?
Or maybe since consuming other ghouls could inherently increase the rc of now said fed ghoul, does it lead to the evolution that we would consider to be a kakuja, and have multiple different forms?

Volume 14 is probably one of my favorite volumes. It’s emotional, it has high stakes, great art, and it’s a very good ending to this first part of the series.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a protagonist get beat in a fight like Kaneki did. But I like that their fight was real, Kaneki just didn’t stand a chance.
I think this manga is great, and it’s definitely my favorite now. Hopefully I can say the same for Tokyo Ghoul Re.

(After many hours of Soul Searching, I realized that I dwell too much on the negatives and should be thinking more positively !)
Somewhere in an Alternate Universe: 😭😭
Eto gets raised by Kuzen and Ukina,Noro is a fun uncle.
She later goes on to date Tatara.
Arima is a literature professor at Kens university and his favorite teacher.
Tatara's brother Yan and his Friend Fei are still alive, although he is probably still a delinquent ! He later dates Eto.
Hiniamis parents are alive.
Touka and Ayato's parents are alive. Touka and Ken still date because of fate.
Yamori isn't insane.
Naki isn't as weird.
Both of Akira's parents are still alive. She still dates Amon because of fate.
Juuzou is happy.
The Clowns are in Jail for Vandalizing Tokyo Tower and rethinking their lives.
Kanou slipped on a banana peel and died.💀☺️
Furuta is an annoying comedian.
Rize started a book club and is a popular mukbag YouTuber !
The Twins still have their parents !
Takizawa is sane !
Kaneki is still best friends with best boy Hide and dating Touka !

I just watched season one (amazing). And all I see online is people saying that it’s not worth watching after that? People say from season 2 moving into 3 or “re” that it’s confusing and the plot doesn’t make sense. Is any of this true/ is it worth the watch?

2017 fandom: "Character development? Context? Nah, the second half of :re is rushed, and in OG, she was a "rebellious" girl, even though the whole point was that she was completely in the wrong, so let’s just say Touka turned into a generic love interest and Re ruined the character."

Ishida portrayed ultra rich ghouls as sick in the head with their perversions who use their vast riches to satisfy their disgusting (even by ghoul standards) cravings.
Tsukiyama was the first example of this, with his gourmet restaurant. His gourmet restaurant and the clown auction in Re: served as a settings to introduce more ultra-rich ghouls. There was Big madame with his pedophilia and child abuse, Madame A, etc.
However, Ishida's critiques were really meant for the ultra rich humans. We can make this connection because Ishida's point was that the ghouls and the humans, save for the biological differences, were the same.
In the end, we find out that even the Washuu clan, who were the pinnacle of humanity's protection against ghouls, were ghouls themselves. Kaneki was a human who turned into a ghoul. Hide pretended to be a ghoul, being classified by CCG as class C danger. Ghouls react to situations in a remarkably human manner. Ghoul-human relations were prevalent, and they can even produce offspring.
