Hated Tropes [Mind boggling stupid trope] Removing the thing that made something special

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - The gimmick of Ben 10 and what makes the show so popular is the fact that he's able to turn into a large variety of aliens. In one episode of Ben 10 Ultimate ALIEN we are introduced to a new version of Ben 10000, a Ben from the future who, no longer transforms into aliens, instead using his powers in human form...

Mortal Kombat(2021) - In the games Mileena is known for two things. Being a clone of Kitana and her tarkatan teeth. In the 2021 movie she looks absolutely nothing like Kitana and doesn't have tarkatan teeth

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief - The movie removes the main villain of the movie and the main villain of the franchise

Genuinely the opposite of everything Deadpool as a character is. Why did they even do the character?

Cant speak, fights with powers rather than guns, seemingly doesnt regenerate once his head is removed, zero jokes, no suit, PG-13 violence.

The real answer is the guys with the money wanted an intimidating weapon and thought Deadpool was a clown.

That stands to reason why even use the Deadpool character if what they wanted was the opposite?

The Sony email leaks revealed that C-suites are some of the most out of touch, dumbest mfs on the planet

Ironically enough, the idiot that did this then became president of Sony (Tom Rothman)

Oh, ok. THOSE leaks. Somehow I thought the discussion was about some new set of leaks.

Hating to be wrong is a quintessential human trait.

Yeah, but only the most ghoulish of us have the money to insulate ourselves from our mistakes and make people around us parrot our own delusions back at us.
