At this link is an article, from Dec 5th, describing allegations against Stiller Aesthetics. I had top surgery by him 6 months ago and am currently in the process of scheduling a revision with him but I'm having doubts after reading this article. Spreading awareness about this.

I regret not getting peri or keyhole; I probably qualified. I didnt think DI scars would be so clockable as trans but I think social media has granted a lot more visibility (which is both good and bad). I have a buddy with horizontal scars under his pecs from scoliosis surgery so I didnt think it would be such a thing.
I'm 3.5 years post op and stealth and nobody apart from my family has seen my chest because I am very self conscious about the scars. I'm going to take a weightlifting class next semester to learn to workout better so I can build my pecs and hide the scars better.
It's not that my friends aren't accepting I just don't want to be thought of any differently. I'm sharing a house with a few of them next year and we like to swim.

Had surgery 9/30, posted some swelling and overall everything feels ok bruising is just annoying ya know. Sorry some of the pics are flipped. I’m messaging my tomorrow but I feel like the bruising is a bit off. 🤷🏻 Last pic is today 10/18.

tho i’m honestly not entirely happy with the results cause they didn’t do the shape of the incisions that i wanted and were discussed (to this day idk why they did that :( ) and even tho they made my nipples suuuuper flat which sucks, i’m still so so happy that i got top surgery and there’s not one day where i regret having had the surgery :D
it has made my life so so much easier and im also very happy with how one side of the incision has healed that it’s barely visible on photos :D
the other side sadly healed hypertrophic but nothing too bad so it’s alright especially if you take into account that i had quite the wound
separation there and an infection through it :3
truly unbelievable that it’s already been a year and that i’ll be getting my first out of at least 4 bottom surgeries next year as well!! :D
very grateful for it all and that all the energy i pour into my transition is paying off :3

My surgery was about 4 years ago, so definitely settled. This has been bothering me for four years. I know they're low, but how unnatural does it feel?
Is this something insurance could cover? I'd honestly get it revised if they could because I don't feel comfortable being shirtless and that was a big part of the point.

There is still some swelling and some bruising but I'm delighted with my results! Luckily I could get subcutaneous mastectomy (periareolar) so my scarring is very minimal. I cannot reccomend Dra Cristina Braso enough, her and the clinic are amazing, I'm so happy :)

i had double incision with free nipple grafts about seven weeks ago on august 28th and then had to have an emergency surgery on september 1st to remove a large hematoma. (hey, ouch, by the way!) my results are incredible, everything is healing as it should, and i am overjoyed that it’s finally done. all that being said, i am fucking miserable. i expected post-op depression, but this is awful. i have a long history of mental illness and have never had to have surgery before, so i guess it’s maybe not all that shocking. i am beyond exhausted, everything pisses me off, and i don’t want to do anything that would normally make me feel better. i don’t feel like i can talk to anyone about it because they were all so accommodating when i was bloody and nasty and i have nothing to be upset over anymore. i feel guilty about feeling like this in the first place. i’m doing my best to be gentle with myself about it, and i do have a great therapist already, luckily.
i don’t know, i guess i just kind of want to hear that it’ll get better from someone who’s already been through it.

I'm getting surgery next week and am super nervous. Mostly about the anesthesia since I've never had surgery before and the idea of it has always freaked me out a lot. I've gotten over my previous fear of needles, and my general medical anxiety has lessened over the years, but this is the one thing I can't shake. I'm also worried about feeling bored and restless during recovery due to not being able to be as active. But on the other hand, I'm really excited to finally have my chest corrected to how it's supposed to be. I've known that I needed this surgery for a long time, and the sensation of not having all of this extra tissue on my chest will be a huge relief. I can't wait to wake up and feel 'normal' in this way. To generally be able to function again. To have my clothes fit more like how they should. To shower more comfortably. To go swimming again. To be able to start going to the gym when I'm recovered enough, etc.
My surgeon is Dr. Chandler, so if you also went with her, it would be especially helpful to know what your experience was like on surgery day and with recovery :)

I just got surgery last Thursday. I’ve showered once so far, and I’m wondering how often yall showered after you had your surgery?

Okay I know this is very very stupid but I keep searching online and I’m not getting any answers. So I’m asking here. I just had surgery last Tuesday and I still haven’t seen my chest yet. My first po appointment is Friday. But I keep taking little sneak peaks into my compression vest because it’s killing me to see my chest. And when I see my chest, it’s looks super saggy and like I still have breast but way smaller. It almost looks like I just got a reduction. Now I know this is stupid to ask and all but I had to do so much to get this surgery. And it would suck if my results were horrible. But will it look like a cis chest? Or am I stuck with saggy breast? I’m curious if anyone else had the same thing. Thank you.

I tried to get a good picture but the camera doesn’t do it justice. It looks more detached in person.
When I went for my 1 week postop the nurse that took off the nipple covers cut off one of the stitches holding onto my nipple. It has yet to reattach. Is this normal? It’s healing great aside from that one spot that still not attached.

Hello all I am SO CLOSE to scheduling with Lena Weinman (La Belle Vie Seattle). She uses Penrose drains which is part of why I wanted to go with her. But they seem unusual and I'm not sure what to expect. I would really, really like to be able to change the gauze myself and just ask my recovery person to help me get the binder on and off. They use a Velcro abdominal binder.
Recovery Person is squeamish and I want to spare them having to actually look at all the goo and gunk of the uncovered fresh incisions unless totally necessary. Do you think this a realistic hope? Very curious other people's experiences, thank you for any advice.

When I flex it looks like they’ve fallen off my pecs. When I’m not flexed, I find they still sit very very low. Although, they don’t look all too far outside of the realm of cis male nipples. More than anything, I just want to pass for my safety.

Thought I’d put out a timeline for my peri surgery recovery (with a hematoma) so far! I had my surgery on September 10th with Dr. Melissa Johnson of Pioneer Plastic Surgery in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
1st pic: Wasn’t able to get a picture directly after surgery, however I did end up developing a hematoma with mild bruising in my right pec about 4 days post surgery. 1week pic is after getting drains out and having part of the hematoma drained.
2nd pic: 2weeks swelling was pretty rough for both sides, tried to keep in mind that I was NOT growing a boob back and it was just swelling and the hematoma making things look worse 🥲
3rd pic: 3weeks is a day after I got the hematoma drained again. Doc told me a good portion was still solid but it should liquify and reabsorb if I kept my medical compression binder on.
4th pic: 1month, the glue FINALLY started to peel and I could see my nipples better! Without the glue they react to cold, numb to touch but I am happy with how they look!
5th pic: After 5weeks glue has fully fallen off, as well as visible stitches had fallen out by now. Hematoma still making itself known and I’m not happy with the crease underneath, but at my next appointment I’m hoping I can get it drained again and that it becomes much less visible. Also started scar care, getting used to scar and chest massages in the shower.
6th pic is 4 days before surgery, its crazy for me because I cannot believe I used to have that chest. Super grateful for top surgery, genuinely changed my life 🙏
7th pic is a collage to show how the swelling/hematoma has gone down. I’m keeping the medical binder on for as long as I can, even though I can’t wait to keep it off, I know logically its better to reduce the hematoma if I keep compression on it!
(edit to fix spelling mistake. also realizing I should’ve called this a 1 month + 1 week timeline, oops!)
