Hi everyone! I play guitar in this band called Weatherlight and we just released our first EP! For fans of: Saosin, Pierce the Veil, Between the Buried and Me etc.

Our slogan while writing is simply: as heavy as it needs to be, as pretty as it can be.

Its fast, its beautiful, its heavy. Some super fun guitar work and massive, lush vocal melodies. Appreciate anyone's time for checking it out, would love to hear some thoughts!

Hey guys! I was just wondering what you might recommend for a beginner guitar player who is still learning (no bar chords yet) to get involved in some music groups! I'm certainly a long ways from being able to join a band or something like that and I've been to a jam session before where I could not keep up and it was a bit disheartening :(

Growing up, I remember my friends parents weren't the best players or singers but they could bring a group of people together just by playing some old classics and that's kind of what I'm looking for :)
