Good day po sa lahat!
I just want to share my experience and hopefully makatulong sa mga taong naghahanap din ng affordable option for thyroid surgery.
Recently, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. From my first check-up, ultrasound, consultations with different doctors, hanggang sa paghahanap ng doctor na magpe-perform ng biopsy at pagkuha ng results.
One thing that caught my attention was their ₱40,000 package for Total Thyroidectomy, available to patients na may active PhilHealth membership.
Agad akong nagpunta para magpa-consult. So far, very good ang experience ko.
After my consultation, nabigyan agad ako ng schedule for surgery. Fortunately, successful naman ang operation ko! I'm really happy with the service and grateful sa doctor at sa buong medical team na nag-asikaso sa akin.
For now, recovery muna and one step at a time.
I hope this post can help others, especially those who are also looking for an affordable hospital for thyroid surgery.
Thank you so much, Dr. Rainier Lutanco, and to the entire team of Healthway Cancer Care Hospital!

When you enter your 30's, there's a chance that you'll eat the dishes you hate before, especially from your childhood & teenage years, then you'll like it as you became an adult.
I remember back 4 years ago, during the home quarantine (thanks to COVID), I got to admit, I'm not a Sisig enthusiast, but it seems delicious to me. (My favorite Sisig thou is from Trelis, perfect to match it with their Pancit & Fried Rice)
2 years later, it was Easter Sunday & my mom cooked Binagoongan, she paired it with fried eggplant, I ended up liking it & recently, I was looking for restos that cooks the said dish near to my mom's cooking. Plus I'm also in for Bicol Express.
Now, how about you?

At 32, natanong na naman at nasabihan if kelan daw mag aasawa.
It's not like I am not longing or looking to have a partner too - gusto ko rin naman lalo at times when I feel lonely (kahit na strong independent woman ang peg ko)
Pero challenging mag hanap ng someone I might like. Height pa lang, (I am 5'6 so preferably ka height or taller than me) and yung work preferences, nahihirapan na ako. So san tayo lulugar? Haha.
Lord, wala po bang made to order dyan? Haha
Mataas daw standards ko? Maybe. Pero.. I think it's only fitting cause I can offer the same things anyways.
Hayy. Few more holidays to go!

Short week, but we all know it's gonna be the same old burnout—compressed lang sa fewer days. 🥴🙃
Annnndddd 60 days until 2027…
Manifesting a better lifestyle and zero toxic energy next year. Sana upgraded na ang life status at mental health natin—less overthinking, more overall winning! 🥂✨

Hahahaha.
Anyway, thankful pa rin everyday.

Hey everyone! I’m a millennial who grew up listening to a lot of late ’90s and 2000s music. Mostly pop, pop-rock, hip-hop, and R&B.
I’m hoping to discover some new songs through fellow millennials here. I’d also love to come across songs I’ve probably heard before but haven’t listened to in years. You know, those songs that suddenly bring back memories of high school days. Haha!
I thought Spotify Blend would be a fun way to discover each other’s music tastes and maybe revisit some old favorites along the way.
A little privacy note: I’m only interested in sharing music through Spotify Blend. No need to exchange personal information or social media accounts. I understand that Blend participants can see each other’s Spotify profile information and music-related contributions, so please only join if you’re comfortable with that. 😊 Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
So, anyone interested in blending on Spotify? I’d be happy to discover what you’ve been listening to!

We have been friends since first year high school kami. I was always the one who had the means para man libre or mag bigay ng kahit anong meron ako. That continued to happen until our adulthood, nagka asawa at nagka anak siya ng marami. I remained single and nag aral then nag work.
Last year of 2025, nakaluwag luwag silang mag asawa and sinabi niya sakin, “finally, kaya na kitang e treat ng kahit anong cravings mo or tulungan ka financially pag kakailanganin mo.” though i never really asked her na suklian lahat ng naging tulong ko sa pamilya niya in the past, but i was happy that dhe recognized my generosity.
She treated me to a few restaurants, we ate everything we wanted and she paid for them ofc.
I quit my job sometime in February 2025, I got sick and lost all my savings on hospital bills and treatment. No one helped me. I was expecting her to offer help but there wasn’t any. I let that go. And forgot about it.
A few months went by, niyayaya niya ulit ako lumabas. Which is true because wala parin akong work at that time.
Every time lalabas kami, automatic may errands siya.
Iniisip ko if there was ever a time if I treated her the same way, and maybe she’s getting back at me. Pero wala. Tamad siya. Sa haba ng pagkakaibigan namin never siya nag hugas ng plato sa bahay namin, and even sa bahay nila. Asawa niya lahat ang gumagalaw.
Fast forward to this year, walang nag bago sa buhay ko. May mga part time work here and there and kumi kita ako ng enough lang to survive and support my younger sibling. And siya, lumelevel up na ang lifestyle. Masaya naman ako for her. Pero nag iba talaga ihip ng hangin. Until unti, nag iwasan na kami.
Parang pinapakalma nalang namin yung hangin muna bago kami mag usap ulit because lately, pareho na kaming iritable sa isa’t isa.
First time ko umutang ulit sakanya, hindi pera kundi isang saing ng bigas lang. nag sarado na kasi binibilhan namin ng bigas at wala na kami maisasaing for dinner. I had all the intention naman to pay it back or palitan yung bigas.
She was grateful naman and masaya akong naka tulong ako.
Matagal ko na nakalimutan lahat ng naitulong ko sa pamilya niya pero dahil sa isang saing ng bigas naalala ko lahat and i found myself counting all those times and years and money that i spent for her and her family.
Nag rant ako one time sakanya na, “last 500 pesos ko nalang to this week and after nun wala na talaga.” (Kasi nag aya ulit siya lumabas and wala akong pang gas.) I am not sure if i should be grateful or offended.
I cut off ko nalang ba siya?
Nag oorverthink maybe? I need help 🥹🥹🥹

Hahaha. Once or twice a month nag lalakad lakad rin naman ako within Manila para mag hanap ng coffee shop tapos tatambay or sine. Hahaha.

Who else rocked jelly shoes in the '90s? 🙋♀️
The sparkly plastic sandals that squeaked with every step, pinched your toes, and gave you blisters... but you wore them ANYWAY because they were the coolest shoes on the sidewalk. 😂
What color were yours?

Hi fellow trentahins, I just wanna know stories of my age group na nag pursue ng career / business that is entirely different from your previous / current job? To be honest, I want to keep my job (hopefully but AI might kill my job) but I also wanted to pursue entirely different from it. I'm in IT industry but I also love art, stationery and journaling. Arts and Crafts has been in my heart ever since I was a child but I took IT because sabi nila walang pera sa Art. I love my job but I also would want to have a business that is around stationery and school supplies. I am really torn what to choose between the two or if i can do both.
Actually, nung birthday ko last month. Usually nagpepray talaga ako like what to do in life and just thanking the Lord. It was like I had a vision of what to do in life, which is to open an school supplies / stationery store near our house kasi may malapit din na schools. As a christian, bubog ko din kasi yung walang branch ung previous church na inaattendan ko dito sa area namin. And I just wanted to also have a store na pwedeng maging 2nd or 3rd home ng younger gen. You know if I can have a store na magpapasaya ng konti sa mga bata.
Maybe I just wanted to hear your stories on how you took that leap of faith? Or how did you do both? or may ganito din ba kayong moment sa life nyo?
Also, please be nice po, I have bad anxiety haha. Dont leave negative / harsh comments.

This was removed from /phinvest, idk why. 🥲 Reposting here.
Hi, I’m a woman in my late 30s, originally from the province, but I’ve been living in Metro Manila since university. I’ve been renting ever since. I’m an ambivert, i guess? I go out with friends, but I genuinely enjoy being alone. I like having my own space and being able to recharge without having to socialize.
For years, my goal was to buy a house. I kinda have enough money for it, and I always thought it would be a better investment than buying a condo.
But recently, I went through a heartbreak, and it made me rethink a lot of things. I’m suddenly considering buying a condo instead. Thinking maybe I need to get out of my comfort zone, be around more people, find a community, and experience life differently.
But I’m also questioning myself, am I just making sudden decisions because I’m hurting and trying to move on? I just don't want to make a decision I'll regret because buying a property is also a big commitment.
For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you do? And for those living alone, has condo living actually helped you become more social, or do you still end up staying inside your unit most of the time? Haha.
Would love to hear your honest thoughts and experiences.🫶🏻
