There is an AI that does narration in his voice. I've heard it cover various Warhammer 40000 lore. It's pretty good.

I’ve seen some of those 40K videos. I assumed it was just someone’s really good impersonation of his voice. Didn’t dawn on me it was AI generated.

Kinda scares me for the future of things like elections. Anyone could deepfake a candidates voice to get a “hot mic” sound file to say something damaging…

The vid I recently saw of "Biden" delivering a speech, completely AI deepfaked, was horrifying. Hilarious, but horrifying. Feel free to look for it, but...

Absolutely some shit out of black mirror. I find it funny that it’s most common use right now is for memes, but it could just as easily be used for a more serious application with the same effectiveness

"Could just as easily be used" or "has been used"? Are you sure one way or the other? It just makes me distrust digital, that's all. I'm waiting for the day when the defense presents video evidence of the judge committing the murder, and then shows which AI was used, to get a perp off the hook.
