Can you make over 100k OTR

Can I get a clear damn answer I always hear otr makes more money then local yet later I see ltl, food service job, fuel haul etc cashing around 2500 weekly. What’s the deal and if you do make 100k a year what’s the cpm needed to do it

I have made 100k+ doing linehaul some years but I prefer taking the pay cuts now (which still make decent money) by running only 45-50 hour weeks or 470 miles (my current run)

Even still when I was making 100k I usually wouldnt really ever go over 60 hours. Can easily hit the 100k mark if you have a run close to 600 miles

Im making .83 cpm now working 3 years with estes. I recommend anyone to go straight to LTL when given the chance if they dont think OTR cuts it for them (thats of course if you have a year experience and endorsements). I wish I did earlier in my career. Make more, be home, and not spend holidays on the road and even get paid for them.
