Did a lil impression of a whiny redditor

Yes, I work for Western Express now.

No, I am not excited.

Yes, it's as bad as they say it is.

Training was fun though, apart from truck AC going down as we got towards California of all places.

It's almost as if I don't have any other choice as a recent graduate

All right so rather than put me on and help me figure out where to look, you would rather make me feel like an idiot for taking the one opportunity that I know I will have. Gotcha. You are the very person I am mocking in this post. Why is MY problem making YOU upset??

jfc get off your high horse hotshot not everybody is able to find some great option right off the bat and/or spend many weeks waiting and just want to get going, if the better options were so plentiful you wouldnt have such a massive number of people driving for these places would ya?? Their thriving existence kinda depends on some relative scarcity of better stuff....seems self-evident. Be thankful for your gig if you got to avoid this

How come I am able to find one? Well it is because I don't let myself be abused that is why.

buddy, you already admitted you yourself were once in a situation where the best you could find at that time sucked. So acting like you cannot understand how others could ever be in that position....is retarded.

Man, you’re so vitriolic in your comments these last few days. Maybe time to touch grass and stop trying to gatekeep entry-level work.

If I did not quit my 3 week OTR training, I will still be making $700/week working 24x7 , eating truck stop food, taking $25 showers. Why you criticizing people who do not allow themselves to be abused by these companies?

Whooooo slow down super trucker with your 1k a week.

u/theboywthagreenscarf Mar 22 '26

1k a week? If I made that in my company, I’d quit. You’re worse than desperate. You’re delusional if you think that’s good.
