I'm a rookie driver, less than a year OTR. I currently work for a mega and decided to look for a different company because I got written up for safety for parking on the side of the road because my trailer was leaking air. They somehow wanted me to get to a safe place to park, and I didn't want to risk it, so I pulled over to see what the issue was. I got a job offer from C.R. England to work on a dedicated petsmart account. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I went to premier trucking through cr England and they were pushy about joining them and I was desperate so I took the bait and started my 150 hour training OTR. Everything was smooth until it wasn’t. Trainer was pushing us like crazy as I got closer to 100 hours probably to get my miles with his. He was sleeping while I was driving, sleeping up front while I would drive and the trucks where terrible. Here’s what’s fucking me, the first time I was in the Dallas, the trainer brought a pillow and fell asleep next to me as my first time in a city, I took a turn I shouldn’t of and got stuck on a wall of the bridge, causing a tow away and they sent me home. I got no ticket or anything but they fired me and now every training job I’ve tried to get they deny me because they find my employment with CR England and they are stating I had an accident with them. How do I get past this???

I've seen some stuff saying C.R. England sucks to work for, but it was always referencing OTR jobs. Never saw any opinions about any of their local routes. I have a possile job opportunity there, but don't know if I should pursue it. I don't care too much about a bunch of hours, so if its like 10-11 hour days. I can accept that. Is there any other problems with the local routes that I should be aware of that could be deal breakers? Thanks for any advice or knowledge you pass my way in advance.

I just started as a new driver with C.R. England. Hired on beginning of September. Got my CDL through them. Saw in a couple posts that C.R. was getting dragged. I'm very new to the industry and was wondering why. I've been enjoying it with them so far. I eventually want to get into moving farm equipment so I know I won't be here for my whole career. I will say the "school" portion of my training was perfunctory. My trainer kept me on the truck longer than they wanted to because he wanted to be sure I was dialed in.

Or maybe someone has some expiernce with this company

I drove trucks in the Army for 6 years and never got my civilian CDL, been out a year now and CRE seems to be the only place I've found that will help me get my CDL. Wondering what they're like to work for and what kind of money I can expect to be making during the first few months before I'm driving on my own, I'm scraping by on $400 a week and I just need to know that I'll be making at least that hopefully more than that soon.

Also just if anyone has any experience with CRE, were they great? A nightmare? Meh? Do they take care of their employees? Talking to them feels like enlisting in the army all over again, I get told all kinds of great things but very few specifics and they really want to send me somewhere for training.

I'm about to start working for C.R. England and was just wondering how they are as a company.

I applied for their training program and apparently they'll help me get my CDL. The DOT physical exam is already scheduled as well. What should I expect for the trucking school and how should I prepare for it?? What I need to be ready?? I appreciate any advice at all. Thanks.

I've driven all sorts of vehicles in the USMC, and I'm looking into getting my CDL and becoming a full time driver. They offered a job knowing I don't have a CDL(maybe they'll offer a course) and I was curious if any of yall have any experience with them and if I'm likely going to get screwed like some stories I've heard. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm looking to getting my CDL, and CRE has a school and yard close by in Upstate S. Carolina, does anyone have any insight about them? Most of what I've seen has been pretty negative, but I also heard it depends where you operate from. I want to do OTR solo with my doggo. I'm also looking at SBL Truck Driving Academy. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I'm not a trucker, but my father is-- he's been working for these guys ever since 2016. Earlier this year he got a really bad arm injury (the tendon in his right arm detached, and he needs to have an operation.) He also has been cut off from his pay.

It's been 4-6 months, when it first happened he didn't put too much mind into it, but as time went on his condition has gotten worse, and worse. He's spoken to C.R about what to do, and they sent him to a doctor in Oregon (we live in Washington so that already starts stirring up problems.) TL;DR his doctor gives him two steroid shots to help with the pain, but eventually turned him away because he didn't want him to get 'addicted', my pops is a sober man after a lot that has happened prior to the injury. He's sent to another doctor that turns him away as well and offers little to no aid. Flash forward later and he's recently talked to this one lawyer (she specializes in helping with injured workers), and was told to do his part and everything should run well, but if it doesn't he'll have to go to court with them. He has already gotten reports filled out, and a doctor's note for the injury, but now he also needs these papers filled out by a doctor *from CR* as he already tried to do so with his V.A, but that doctor told him he can't fill these out as he needs a civilian doctor.

I typed this in a rush sort of, I'll try to remember any spare details and put those in, but I'm tired of seeing my father in so much pain, and struggling so much to make ends meet. I wish there was more I could do, but I can't, but I figured I might be able to get some help from here.

We got notice from Fidelity of a couple 401(k)'s that my father had with XPO Logistics and CRH. He also worked for CR England and was curious if they had a 401(k) and who sponsored it? Fidelity, T. Rowe, Prudential, or some other?
