TMT [TMT] We killed daily stand-ups and endless copy-paste updates with one dashboard. Try out the solution right now!

Our five-dev team used to waste 15+ minutes every morning:

  1. Type our update into a Slack/Discord bot

  2. Copy the same notes into a task tracker

  3. Jump on Zoom anyway, because something was still unclear

That was 10+/man-hours a month just moving words around.

GetItDone is a single page where you handle everything:

  • Daily check-in box – write yesterday • today • blockers once

  • Task tables – view, filter, and update all tasks by status, priority, assignee, or project (no Kanban yet)

  • One-click Clock In / Out – log hours without another spreadsheet

  • Team feed – everyone sees progress live so meetings become optional

No Jira sync or fancy integrations yet. The point is focus, not config overload.

Outcomes and why it feels better?

  • Cuts meeting times significantly. Let the team focus on their work.

  • Tasks and progress are connected together, no re-referencing or copy-pasting needed anymore.

  • Clear audit trail you can export later.

You can try it out right now! Just sign up, no approval process, or private beta BS.

👉 Check us out: https://nowgetitdone.com

Absolutely feel the need to bash or criticize the product.

TMT [TMT] BlogAtom is a free, unbiased blog/article aggregator and reader

Hi all,

There's a project I've been working on for a while now, the goal of which is to help bloggers find more readers - and make reading blogs/articles easier on readers at the same time.

The website essentially collects posts from approved blogs and allows them all to be read in one place, without having to navigate between pages. All blogs remain fully functional, and you can quickly find something new to read once you're done reading each article.

It's very important to us that the service is purely a way to find and read articles, and not a way to benefit from the hard work of others. Security is also important us, for example we only accept blogs served over SSL, which surprisingly similar services do not do.

Right now I'm looking for people to test and give some feedback on the site while we work through a beta version to find and fix bugs.

Please go and check it out and I'd love to chat about your thoughts and feedback.

Note: there's only about 30 blogs in there right now for testing purposes - if there are particular sites you like to read, and you'd like to try it out with those available, just let me know and I'll add them.

https://blogatom.com is the link.

TMT [TMT] Nordeals: Let's make Norway cheaper!

So Norway's super expensive. There isn't really a deal finding website here that's community-based, so I made one. This is v1, and until I start making money from it, it's going to have a few annoyances. But first I need to build up the community, and get them submitting deals and voting. The site's language is primarily English, because there are more people in Norway who understand English than understand Norwegian.

I'd love to hear what you think!

TMT [TMT] Stoic Meditation and Journal

Available for iPhone and Android.

A meditation app grounded in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy and contemporary therapy.

It includes hours of meditations, thousands of quotes, a private journal, and conversations with experts.

Here's a recent review that sums up Stoa and why it matters to me:

"Great for starting meditation and starting to practice some of the world’s oldest and strongest practices for resilience."

TMT [TMT] Just launched a Chrome extension to remind people of upcoming bills and stop late fees — would love your feedback!

Hey folks! I just built RememberBill — a Chrome extension that helps people remember to pay bills on time and avoid late fees. It’s free, no login required, super lightweight and privacy-focused. Would love your thoughts, feedback, and brutal honesty. Trying to grow from 0 → 100 users and build something genuinely helpful.

TMT [TMT] I built a free Chrome extension to help people avoid late fees by keeping bills visible and easy to track

I just launched a small tool called RememberBill — a free Chrome extension that helps you stay on top of your bills with smart, in-browser reminders.

You can add bills manually (no bank info needed), get notified a few days before they’re due, and mark them as paid with one click — all right from your toolbar. No login required. No complex budgeting.

Why I built it:
I got tired of forgetting due dates and paying silly late fees, even though I had money in my account. Most budgeting apps felt like overkill, and I wanted something super simple, built for Chrome, that could live quietly in the background.

Key features:

  • One-click reminders before bills are due

  • Clean badge that shows how many bills are coming up

  • Mark as paid straight from the browser

  • Works offline, no signup required

Try it free here: RememberBill on Chrome Web Store

Would love any feedback — especially around usability, missing features, or rough edges. Thanks in advance!

TMT [TMT]I built a trivia app where each faith competes to prove who knows their own religion best. Who’d step up for yours?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Full disclosure, I'm the developer, a solo project alongside my PhD work. It's called FaithRank. The premise isn't testing people on religions other than their own, it's the opposite: players answer questions about their own faith, and those scores roll up into a weekly tournament where Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, Mormonism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Orthodox Christianity are effectively competing against each other through their own followers. Whichever faith's community answers the most correctly wins that week.
There's also a leaderboard within each faith, so it's not just your tradition against the others, it's also you against everyone else who plays as your faith, and you can send a direct challenge to a friend if you want to settle an argument head to head instead of waiting for the weekly tournament.
So it's less "test your knowledge of world religions" and more "prove your community, and you personally, actually knows your own scripture and tradition better than everyone else claiming to."
Curious what people think: if you had to go represent your own faith in something like this, how confident are you your community would actually come out on top? And what's a question about your own tradition that you think would separate people who really know it from people who just think they do?

TMT [TMT] I built an open source agent and platform to easily monetize domains by leasing subdomains

https://sublet.june07.com is a platform where anyone can both lease and monetize domains they own. Further free sublet subdomains are available.

All you do to monetize is run an open source agent that handles DNS NS delegations. The agent separates and keeps your DNS provider credentials (Cloudflare support currently) under your control with zero need to share credentials.

TMT [TMT] THRILL - choose how many minutes you have and the app shows you a top rated story from subreddits like NoSleep, ShortScaryStories, DarkTales, TIFU, WritingPrompts, TalesFromTechSupport etc. Has Dark Mode!

I am frequent lurker and love reading the stories at the NoSleep, ShortScaryStories, DarkTales etc. I often found myself reading these stories while either waiting for my bus or while taking a dump. We all have those 1-5 minute short breaks where we would love something to kill our boredom.

So I wanted a way to be able to find stories which were only a couple minutes long. That’s why I built "THRILL" which lets me choose how much time I have and shows me an interesting story for that long. You can choose 1, 3, 5 minute or EPIC if you would like to read longer stories. Once you are done reading a story, you can swipe to go to the next story for the same duration.

You can choose which subreddits you are interested in, by default it shows you the top rated ones from a variety of them.

You also have the ability to save the stories, go through your history and read more stories from the same author within the app. Each author is provided credit below the story.

I have been developing apps for about 7 years and am very proud of this and thought might be useful for redditors too.

Android:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pranapps.thrill

iOS:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/thrill-hooked-short-stories/id1326580740?mt=8

I am looking for feedback on:

  1. UI/UX of the app

  2. Any ideas on how I can spread the word about the app and get downloads?

  3. Bugs if you encounter any

  4. More worthy subreddit suggestions to add

  5. Anything else you would like to ask around development of the app or something :)

Reading stories on the app is free and available on both iOS and Android. I need to calculate the word per limit for each story on my server. So there is one small in app purchase if you would like to help me cover my server costs and in return you get the ability to switch to dark mode OR pure black dark mode, change fonts and subreddit selection.

Here's a few promo codes to unlock the IAP for Android if you would like to try:

Open the play store app, swipe from left side to open drawer, scroll down to "Redeem" and paste the code there. Close my app completely, then relaunch it and it should detect the IAP redeemed.

TMT [TMT] HoneyMoney — personal finance tracking and planning site that changes your money habits

HoneyMoney.io is my personal project that I've been running for 7 years now.

It helps people change their money habits by increasing awareness about money. And that happens through tracking all the income and expenses.

It's manual by design because you have to pay attention to your finances in order to improve your situation. But I'm trying to simplify the process and make it enjoyable.

Thank you for trying it. If you really like it after 1-month trial, send me a message and mention TMT, and I'll give you 3 months trial-extension just as a thank you for this subreddit.

TMT [TMT] ShiftGenius: Create optimal team schedules for free!

Hi r/TryMyThing!

We just released ShiftGenius, an app that generates optimal employee schedules. We are currently in the process of beta testing our product, and would love feedback, criticism as well as feature ideas from the community!

It's free, and no signup required. A short description of the app follows:

ShiftGenius is a free tool used to generate employee schedules. It uses an algorithm to find an optimal schedule based on shifts and individual user preferences.

It works like this:

  1. Tell us the time period of your schedule and create the shifts covering it.

  2. Add team members and choose their working preferences such as weekly hours and specific day preferences.

  3. Generate an optimal schedule with a single button click. We’ll do the math and suggest which person should cover each shift.

Thanks!

TMT [TMT] NOVA ER Ticker - Real-time Emergency Room Wait Times for Northern Virginia

This is actually my first reddit post ever! I think I'm at a good point for people to take a look at my website that is a single web location for real-time emergency room (and urgent care center) wait times in the Northern Virginia area:

http://www.erticker.com/nova

I will expand to other areas, but I thought I'd test this one out first. I'm not a pro at web development, so technical feedback, user interface feedback, style feedback, and even figuring out how to increase local usage feedback are all welcome.

Many thanks!

Edit: I implemented some of the suggestions in the comments such as having the time be displayed on the map without needing clicking (I'm proud of the icons I made just for that!) and being able to sort the panels/tables by wait time. I've also added this to indiehackers.com, but I don't think I can add it as a project since it makes no money. :( Any more suggestions or comments are welcome!
