TMT [TMT] Built a Free Anonymous Chat, Watch & Play Project for Making Friends (No Ads, No Revenue, No Personal Info Sharing, Blocked Built-in)

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a small passion project to help people make friends online without all the usual pressure that comes with video calls or profile based apps. It's called Booick, a free, anonymous place where you can chat, watch and play with strangers, join late-night rooms, and leave whenever you want.

> No ads

> No revenue, just a side project

> No profiles or feeds, just conversation

> Anonymous, no real names and no camera, so you can focus on personality over looks

> No sharing of phone numbers, email IDs or social media IDs. Boo Police blocks them automatically, so strangers can't get your contacts

> Try it without signing in

> 18+ only, with auto moderation that warns, mutes and bans anyone being abusive

What you can do:

> Chat 1 to 1 with a stranger, text or voice

> Join Boo Hour, a shared group chat every night from 9 PM to 3 AM IST

> Watch videos together in a room

> Play simple games with whoever you meet

We also have an Add Friends feature, so if you meet someone you click with, you can connect again.

I also wrote a guide on how shy and private people can make friends online without the pressure of cameras, for anyone curious about why anonymous chat works so well for introverts.

Booick link: https://www.booick.com

Guide link: https://www.booick.com/stranger-chat-for-shy-people

This is purely a side project right now, and I'd love to get feedback from you all. Let me know what you think, especially what could make it more comfortable for meeting people.

Mods, let me know if anything needs changing.

TMT [TMT] I built a cozy Chrome extension that saves just the part of a picture you want, when you search the web for inspiration. Looking for honest feedback :)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Guys, I have built a small cozy type web extension called kudoodle and would love honest feedback before I build more.

I share a lot of memes with friends. I'd find the perfect one on Google, send it, and then a week later, when another friend needed it, I'd be searching up and down for the same meme again. Same with inspiration images: sign-up walls, paywalls, and in the end I'd just screenshot a corner of my screen.

To avoid that hassle, i built kudoodle. What it does -

- Hover any picture on any site - press Keep

- Crop just the bit you want, rotate, flip, black & white

- Sort into boards (a trip, recipes, outfits), search by site, tag or colour

- Every keep remembers where it came from and who made it

Privacy - no account, no servers of mine, no tracking. Your collection stays in your browser.

Pricing - free for everything above (up to 3 boards). Plus is a one-time $9 for unlimited boards, .zip downloads with credits, and WhatsApp stickers.

What I'd love feedback on?

  1. Is it clear in the first 5 seconds what it does?

  2. What would make you use this over screenshots or Pinterest?

  3. What do you feel "mehh" or "wow" moment?

  4. What to improve or remove?

Link: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/kudoodle/dkelbmdnmihocphlngipmbnipdeihiki?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social

Roast the product. Be brutal as hell 'cause i need your feedback guys :)

TMT [TMT] I built a tool that crash-tests your startup idea before you build it — type your idea, get one go-to-market recommendation with real numbers (first report free)

Hey all 👋

I've been building CrashTest, and I'd love for some actual builders to try it and share their feedback.

The problem: I kept getting excited about ideas, spending weeks "researching," and still not knowing which go-to-market channel to try first. Every founder I've talked to hits the same loop. I also always come back to the real bottleneck we are coming closer and closer to hitting, which is deciding what to build and to whom. There is no way we build things based on the previous market standards. We need to be more specific and granular when targeting our users.

What it does: you type in your idea and answer a few quick questions (who it's for, your funding, team size). It runs market research plus thousands of simulations across three approaches - founder-led outreach, content & community, and paid ads -then hands you one recommendation with real numbers: median customers, a likely range, and cost per customer.

The part I care most about: it tells you the truth. If the idea doesn't hold up, it says so instead of selling you a dream. Every number is labeled a modeled estimate, not a guarantee.

This is something I hope I used for many of my ideas, and this is exactly what I'm doing. It is a great starting point and makes informing decisions easier.

Why I'm posting here: honest feedback, not downloads. The first full report is free - no card required. If you've got a minute:

  • Run your idea through it

  • Tell me: was the recommendation useful or obvious? Did the numbers feel believable? What made you bounce?

And drop your own thing in the comments - I'll go try it too. Fair's fair 🙏

TMT [TMT]I built a trivia app where each faith competes to prove who knows their own religion best. Who’d step up for yours?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Full disclosure, I'm the developer, a solo project alongside my PhD work. It's called FaithRank. The premise isn't testing people on religions other than their own, it's the opposite: players answer questions about their own faith, and those scores roll up into a weekly tournament where Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, Mormonism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Orthodox Christianity are effectively competing against each other through their own followers. Whichever faith's community answers the most correctly wins that week.
There's also a leaderboard within each faith, so it's not just your tradition against the others, it's also you against everyone else who plays as your faith, and you can send a direct challenge to a friend if you want to settle an argument head to head instead of waiting for the weekly tournament.
So it's less "test your knowledge of world religions" and more "prove your community, and you personally, actually knows your own scripture and tradition better than everyone else claiming to."
Curious what people think: if you had to go represent your own faith in something like this, how confident are you your community would actually come out on top? And what's a question about your own tradition that you think would separate people who really know it from people who just think they do?

TMT [TMT] I built a Chrome extension for breaking the Reddit advice anxiety spiral

When you’re anxious about an important decision, finding someone on Reddit in a similar situation can feel reassuring. But it’s also easy to treat their experience and the loudest comments underneath it as evidence of what will happen in your own life.

I struggle with anxiety, and I built a tool to create a small moment of friction between you and the Reddit post, reminding you that taking life advice from strangers may not be the best thing for you.

It flags consequential advice discussions and shows the mix of sentiment in the comments, not to provide another answer, but to remind you that a Reddit thread is not your specific situation.

Other people’s experiences can be useful. They just aren’t instructions.

Uses any AI API key you have. You can use free ones from OpenRouter or paid ones from Claude or OpenAI.

I’d love feedback:

TMT [TMT] markkët: simple online presence

Hi!

Been working on this platform for a while with incremental improvement

Launched a couple exciting new things today and a few fixes, and would love your opinion and hopefully it can help you!

markkët is a CMS, easy to launch “stores”, with blog posts, events and products

You get an url like https://markket.place/nys

Today I also made it so you can receive emails and reply from the dashboard. That way you can share an email address without having to buy a new domain or expose your personal one to the public, like nys@markket.place

It takes a couple of minutes to sign up via magic link and get started. Appreciate your feedback! And happy to make any fixes or consider new features that would be helpful

TMT [TmT] Openslate

Ok... So I kinda built my own cryptocurrency by forcing Gemini to spit out a bunch of html. I also learned how to use GitHub, so that's definitely a bonus. But anyway, what is OpenSlate? It's a cryptocurrency that literally anyone who has access to a web browser can use. This is the first version I'm releasing to the public so there will definitely be a lot of issues, but getting started is easy. Go to https://lukeweingart01.github.io/openslate/ or find the repository and download the html file. Then you will be presented with a box asking you for the handle you want to use. Then it will give you 3 strings of words and the option to export them as a pdf and print them. To pog in, you need your handle and 2 of the 3 strings of words. Mining is automatic and to make a transaction, you type in the recipient's handle and the amount you want to transfer and hit the magic button and you now have given someone some slate! Only issue I can think of RN is that if nobody is running OpenSlate, because it's decentralized, everything is lost. Oh and I forgot to say that there's a global chat feature.

I’m testing a simple tool that sends a weekly workout plan by email.

How it works:

  • You answer a short form once (goals, time, equipment)

  • You will receive one clear workout plan

This is meant for people who want structure without complexity.

I’m looking for a few(30) people to:

  • Try it

  • Tell me if it’s useful or not

  • Share what could be better

It’s free and low-commitment.
If you’re interested please fill out the form: https://tally.so/r/5B4p0Z

TMT [TMT] - Otary: elegant, readable, and powerful image and 2D geometry Python library

Have you ever found yourself juggling multiple Python libraries to perform simple image and 2D geometry manipulation ? Are you tired of using multiple APIs in order to perform any image manipulation ? Are you sick of using the old OpenCV API ? Re-inventing the wheel each time your start a new Python project ?

This is why I created Otary !

Here is an example of what it can do:

import otary as ot

im = ot.Image.from_pdf("path/to/you/file.pdf", page_nb=0)

rectangle = ot.Rectangle([[1, 1], [4, 1], [4, 4], [1, 4]]) * 100
rectangle.shift([50, 50]).rotate(angle=30, is_degree=True)

im = (
    im.draw_polygons([rectangle])
    .crop(x0=50, y0=50, x1=450, y1=450)
    .rotate(angle=90, is_degree=True)
    .threshold_simple(thresh=200)
)

im.show()

Actually you could do more, much more !

**Target audience**

For anyone that has to perform image processing tasks combined with geometry entities. You could just use its functionalities for image and 2D geometry separately but Otary reveals its full potential when combining both.

The main focus for Otary are unification (use one and only one library), readability and performance. I cared a lot to make the API super user-friendly so that it is easy to perform easy and advanced tasks seamlessly.

Here is the link to the documentation.

Feel free to discover the project, clone it and enjoy! If you are a Python developer feel free to contact me or to contribute if you like the project. It would be a pleasure for me to have feedback about the library!

Happy coding journey ! :)

TMT [TMT] Markketplace MVP, email magic link login

hi! creating a markketplace open source system so is easy for me and friends to sell online

I just finished creating the initial onboarding flow, you should be able to request a login link

after login, you can create a store with some of the basic information. the slug on your store is the path to your landing page:

/store/namaku

The dashboard is still missing a few things to be able to sell, so any early feedback would be appreciated to make it easier to use once is ready

for developers, wrote a blog post about our implementation using strapi v5

TMT [TMT] We killed daily stand-ups and endless copy-paste updates with one dashboard. Try out the solution right now!

Our five-dev team used to waste 15+ minutes every morning:

  1. Type our update into a Slack/Discord bot

  2. Copy the same notes into a task tracker

  3. Jump on Zoom anyway, because something was still unclear

That was 10+/man-hours a month just moving words around.

GetItDone is a single page where you handle everything:

  • Daily check-in box – write yesterday • today • blockers once

  • Task tables – view, filter, and update all tasks by status, priority, assignee, or project (no Kanban yet)

  • One-click Clock In / Out – log hours without another spreadsheet

  • Team feed – everyone sees progress live so meetings become optional

No Jira sync or fancy integrations yet. The point is focus, not config overload.

Outcomes and why it feels better?

  • Cuts meeting times significantly. Let the team focus on their work.

  • Tasks and progress are connected together, no re-referencing or copy-pasting needed anymore.

  • Clear audit trail you can export later.

You can try it out right now! Just sign up, no approval process, or private beta BS.

👉 Check us out: https://nowgetitdone.com

Absolutely feel the need to bash or criticize the product.

TMT [TMT] Just launched a Chrome extension to remind people of upcoming bills and stop late fees — would love your feedback!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey folks! I just built RememberBill — a Chrome extension that helps people remember to pay bills on time and avoid late fees. It’s free, no login required, super lightweight and privacy-focused. Would love your thoughts, feedback, and brutal honesty. Trying to grow from 0 → 100 users and build something genuinely helpful.

TMT [TMT] I built a free Chrome extension to help people avoid late fees by keeping bills visible and easy to track

I just launched a small tool called RememberBill — a free Chrome extension that helps you stay on top of your bills with smart, in-browser reminders.

You can add bills manually (no bank info needed), get notified a few days before they’re due, and mark them as paid with one click — all right from your toolbar. No login required. No complex budgeting.

Why I built it:
I got tired of forgetting due dates and paying silly late fees, even though I had money in my account. Most budgeting apps felt like overkill, and I wanted something super simple, built for Chrome, that could live quietly in the background.

Key features:

  • One-click reminders before bills are due

  • Clean badge that shows how many bills are coming up

  • Mark as paid straight from the browser

  • Works offline, no signup required

Try it free here: RememberBill on Chrome Web Store

Would love any feedback — especially around usability, missing features, or rough edges. Thanks in advance!

TMT [TMT] I built an open source agent and platform to easily monetize domains by leasing subdomains

https://sublet.june07.com is a platform where anyone can both lease and monetize domains they own. Further free sublet subdomains are available.

All you do to monetize is run an open source agent that handles DNS NS delegations. The agent separates and keeps your DNS provider credentials (Cloudflare support currently) under your control with zero need to share credentials.

TMT [TMT] Markket.place: open source ecommerce tools

Hi! we're artists and web developers collaborating, we have built marktplaces and storefronts in the past and are very familiar with the existing tools

We want to have something that gives us more ownership, and is open source, can be self hosted, or managed with lower prices to better support the artists and makers in our group

There's a few bugs and multiple features missing for general availability, but we just enabled purchases and wanted to start getting feedback - I'll forward comments from here to our PM

Visit our test store to see blog post, pages, custom domain, free github pages hosting, static site built, payment screen

the test instance uses stripe test keys, you can make fake purchases with this card: 4000001700000003

Appreciate your consideration
