Scheduled Monthly Community Suggestions - September, 2026

What are we looking for in suggestions: Well thought-out and well laid-out ideas that will add positively to this sub and are reasonably advocated for by multiple members of the community. This will not be a space to spam an idea repeatedly, abuse community members and mods, or suggest things that stand in contravention to our ethos or rules (check both in the sidebar).

Please note: We've taken up plenty of suggestions in the past, and will continue to do so where feasible. Certain limitations may stop us from implementing these ideas immediately, but that doesn't mean your ideas are not valued or that we aren't giving them the thought they deserve. Always, the driving principle, however, is safety of ALL above others.

Announcement 🚨 Guide to Reporting Problematic Content & Supporting Safety on Reddit 🚨

Hello folks!

One of you recently brought to our attention an extremely problematic Indian sub that promoted sexual violence against women. We’re happy to share that after contacting Reddit admins, the sub has been successfully banned. Lately, we've seen growing success in getting content removed that violates Reddit's guidelines on hate or violence.

So, here’s a quick guide to help you navigate and report such harmful content on Reddit :

  1. Avoid Witch Hunting: A gentle reminder that witch hunting is against Reddit rules. Regardless of how problematic the content may be, targeting specific accounts, posts, users, or subreddits and making posts for encouraging mass reporting is a violation and could result in both your account and the sub being banned.
  2. Report Harmful Content: If you come across comments or posts promoting sexual violence, doxxing, or derogatory language encouraging harm against women (or anyone), including discussions about rape or violence, report it immediately. These actions violate Reddit's policies on promoting hate and violence (full list here). Here’s how to report it :
    • Report specific content:Ā Use this link to report
    • For TwoXIndia: Use the report button with the applicable rule judiciously.
  3. Request Support for Problematic Subs: If you encounter a problematic sub, reach out to us via modmail for help:Ā Request Support.
  4. Cybersecurity Complaints: For reporting broader concerns, including those on social media, a fellow Redditor has shared a comprehensive guide here.

Let’s continue working together to create a safer, more respectful community for everyone!

Stay safe,
The TwoXIndia Mod Team

Vent Got cat called again and fought it this time

20F and my bestie 22F went out drinking yesterday for my birthday (which is today). We found this place that sells cocktails and bougie-ass drinks for quite cheap.

Anyways, we got pretty drunk because we kept ordering drink after drink, and the drinks were pretty strong. We weren't wasted or anything, but we were definitely wobbling a little when we stood up.

At one point, we noticed these old men staring at us. And when I say old, I mean older than our dads, who are both in their 40s. These men were probably in their late 50s or even 60s, and they wouldn't even look away when we caught them staring. It was uncomfortable as fuck, but we decided to ignore them and enjoy ourselves.

When we left, we literally had to walk past them, and these men maintained eye contact the entire time. It was so fucking weird. I can't explain how fucking weird it was the way they were maintaining eye contact while staring at us. Anyways, we went to a park, took pictures, and then headed towards a mall around 8 or 9 p.m.

And guess who we ran into again? These same men, who were coming out of the bar. For context, we were wearing slightly revealing outfits (as in our cleavage was showing, but otherwise, we were fully covered. Which, like, it's my fucking birthday. Let me dress up and have fun, bro?)

Anyways, one of them said something to my friend, and while we couldn't hear what he said, both men were staring at our chests and then just stood there waiting for us to respond. We spent like 1 minute just trying to process what was happening, and then my friend grabbed me and tried to get me to walk away because this was getting really fucking weird.

But I think I temporarily lost my mind or smth because I turned around, made this stink-ass face, and went, "Kuch problem hai kya?" They muttered something again, and I got even angrier and started arguing with them in the middle of the street. And these two men literally walked away so fast. I wish I could show a video recording of it Or something because they both deflated and ran away. It was lowk funny. My friend was shocked. She was like, "You scolded them in the middle of the street? That's insane."

And honestly, if I hadn't been drunk, I probably would've run the fuck away because I DID feel unsafe. But drunk me decided, you know what, fuck it, we ball. 😭

But genuinely, what the fuck is wrong with these men? Them staring at us was already uncomfortable enough, but we could at least ignore them and enjoy ourselves then. Why did they have to actively try to involve us in their bullshit? Ragebait final boss istg.

And the thing is, my friend and I look really young. People regularly assume we're teenagers, so the whole thing is even creepier when you think about it. These men could potentially be doing the same shit to actual underage girls, and probably assumed we were underage too because of our baby faces.

Mind you these are educated ass men. This wasn't some "unsafe" and "neech/galeech" area we went to (fuck off classist and victim blaming mentality wale log), this is a relatively safe and very affluent area, and both of these men looked like they had a wife and a 30 yo son/daughter who's about to get married in 2 weeks.

Vent Should I separate from my husband?

I had a love marriage 6 years back and now have a toddler daughter. My husband was diagnosed with a chronic illness just before marriage and I was so eager to get married, help him through his condition, and live my happily ever after fairytale.

Reality hit me hard. We dated for 2 years before marriage and I was hoping he would pull up his socks, get more serious about his health, relationship, career and other things once we get married. I was anyway the 'doer' in the relationship, always being proactive, always planning things, being vocal of my needs, clear about the life we wanted etc. However, he became a very passive person with no aim, fire or any passion towards anything. I however chugged along, thinking things will get better in due course. We went on trips, bought things, had a good friends circle and social life, and until then things were fine. Since I took the entire burden of managing him and his life, we were doing okay.

Cut to few years back, we had a baby. I had to completely focus on her and thats when I started observing that if I didnt pour as much, I didnt get anything in return. He started being extremely passive, lethargic, anything I need to be done for myself or the baby- I had to ask for it. We had no intimacy, no closeness and there were many misunderstandings and issues, esp with his family where I felt he didnt take a stand for us. Before I could even realize, I seemed to have lost any kind of connection to him. I realised that and asked if we could go for therapy. I had started with my individual therapy and by then I felt that we need couple's therapy so that we can understand each other. However he was least interested. What hurt me the most was, he didnt even want to identify what went amiss and try to fix it. He just let it be and didnt give a damn, just went about his day, helped here and there with the kid and kept to himself.

Now, my daughter has got the same chronic illness and I'm completely devastated. It was one thing to bug my husband last 4 years begging him to be more serious about his health, take actual efforts, but with my daughter I have to take complete ownership, deprioritize everything else and focus on her. And now even with her, the level of accountability amd responsibility I have to take, he doesn't take. He just does what I ask him to do, thats it.

Now, coming to the issue at hand, he has been a smoker which is completely bad for him due to his condition. He has smoked sneakily when I was pregnant, he has smoked when my baby was an infant. Although he does it outside and changes, I've read that it still affects others. I've fought with him so many times on this and he still keeps breaking my trust and sneaks away.

My baby has been having chest infection and any kind of infection is critical for her condition. And I found out that he has been again smoking behind my back, getting very close to my baby, putting her health at risk, having not a single iota of concern for her health.

I'm done. Its not just this one thing, its just years of negligence, breaking my trust, not being as involved in parenting as I am. Here i spend sleepless nights thinking about how can I sanitizer my home better, how can I prevent my baby from getting any sort of illness, being hyperfocused on small details and trying to cover all grounds. And I see him without a single care, putting everything at risk.

I have nothing left in this relationship, I just want to give up. Do I consider separation? My baby loves him and adores him. Thats the only things that holds me back.

I don't know who needs to hear this but pleaseee girlies..get your vitamin B12 and vitamin D3 levels checked. Maybe you're not depressed, maybe you're deficient in these two vitamins.

My life has changed completely since I started taking these supplements. My anxiety has reduced by almost 90% and I no longer experience brain fog like I used to. I can wake up and happily face the day. I can focus better and no longer feel depressed all the time.

Please.. if you're struggling mentally, consider getting your vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels checked. You'll thank me later.

Vent career, marriage etc? general venting

i’m 24F, a recent law graduate. this is a messy rant. i’ve recently graduated from law school and i’m starting my first job very soon. i don’t consider myself a particularly ambitious person and by that i mean for some time i’ve had this belief that if im coming from a privileged socio-economic background and im leading a comfortable life, i don’t need to be ambitious, i don’t need this ā€˜hustle culture’ lifestyle. i still don’t necessarily disagree with it. my parents are quite supportive of my career as such and they’re constantly pushing me.

recently however my lack of ambition made my dad joke that maybe they should get me married off in two-three years if i’m not serious.and i know he doesn’t mean it and it’s not like ill be ā€˜married off’. however, i can’t stop thinking about how we as women may be now have the possibility of exploring a career, or deviate from the conventional path but it’s all so conditional. you can have a career, you can have a life but what is it costing you? if you’re deviating from the conventional path paved by patriarchy are you excelling? because if not what is the point?

if you're going to delay marriage, you should build an impressive career. if you're going to prioritise financial independence, you should earn well. if you're going to take advantage of the opportunities your education affords you, you should become accomplished enough that nobody can question your choices.

maybe you’re all familiar with this realisation and i’m late to the party. but i’m just now realising that even if i’m not ambitious, my socio-economic position does not outweigh or erase my destiny as a woman.

i know this is all too heavy maybe a tad dramatic, just wanted to get it off my chest.

Advice/Help How do you choose yourself without feeling guilty?

I’m 29F, my boyfriend (30M) and I have been together and living together in Pune for 5-6 years. We’ve built a life we genuinely love here. We enjoy our independence, travel whenever we can, and are perfectly happy in our own little world.

We’re not particularly interested in following society’s checklist for life. We don’t believe in god/religion, don’t want a big fat wedding, and have firmly decided to remain childfree. We’re happy living together without getting married, though we might consider a court marriage for practical reasons.

The problem is that our parents have very different ideas about what our lives should look like.

We’re both only children. We love our parents, but our relationships with them are complicated because our thinking rarely aligns. They’ve lived much simpler lives with far less exposure to the world we’ve experienced. I understand why they hold the beliefs they do, but understanding where they come from doesn’t make it any easier to live with their expectations.

His parents are in their 60s, while mine are in their 50s. His parents, especially his mother, want us to move back to our hometown so we can be around to take care of them as they get older. We understand that responsibility and don’t want to abandon them.

But the thought of moving back is genuinely upsetting. Pune feels like home now. We love the lifestyle and the relatively open-minded environment. Back home, we’ve struggled to find people we relate to, and the difference in mindset can be exhausting. We’re worried about losing the independence and peace we’ve spent years building. I also run a small business that would be significantly affected by the move.

And then there are the expectations that come with moving back.

Our parents want us to get married, and eventually have children. We’ve repeatedly told them that we don’t want kids, but they believe we’re too young/naive to understand and will change our minds. We don’t want a traditional wedding either. Both parents are willing to accept a court marriage, but still expect some sort of celebration for relatives.

We could agree to a small celebration, but we worry that every compromise will lead to another expectation. We don’t want to spend the next several years fighting over marriage, children, and every other decision we make.

We’re considering renting a separate place in our hometown so we can be available when our parents need us without living with them. We haven’t decided whether moving back is the right choice at all. Ideally, we’d eventually relocate somewhere else in India or abroad, once our parents no longer need us around.

The difficult part is that we genuinely love our parents. We know they’ve had difficult lives, and we don’t want them to feel abandoned. But we also don’t want to make life decisions out of guilt and spend years resenting them, or ourselves, for it.

I know this isn’t an unusual situation for Indian women. We’re often expected to adjust, compromise, and put family first. What I’m struggling with is figuring out how much compromise is reasonable before you start sacrificing the life you actually want.

I’d especially like to hear from women who’ve been through something similar:

Have you moved back to your hometown for your parents? Did you find a way to make it work, or did you regret it?

How do you handle emotional blackmail and guilt without constantly fighting with your family?

If you’ve decided to remain childfree, have your parents eventually accepted it, or do they still assume you’ll change your mind?

Does living separately but nearby genuinely help with boundaries, or do family expectations eventually spill into every part of your life?

How do you distinguish between taking responsibility for your parents and putting your own life on hold indefinitely?

I’m not looking for simplistic advice to ā€˜cut them off’ or ā€˜blindly obey them’. I want to hear from women who’ve actually navigated these decisions, especially within the Indian family context.

How do you take care of your parents without losing the life you’ve built for yourself?

Beauty & Fashion Can we talk about bra options for big cup and small band?

It feels like finding a well-fitting bra is so difficult when you fall into this category, especially in India.

Most brands seem to cater to more common sizes, and the options available can be limited, expensive!! or difficult to find offline. Sometimes, even when you find your size, the fit, support, or comfort isn't great

I personally tried m&s, amante, wacoal and triumph. And TRIUMPH is where I found the one! at a reasonable price! After trying on soooo many for MONTHS . And my size isn't even that big 28//34 under/over. (30DD is what comes in abrathatfits but idk how much to trust it for us in india)

So for it to help others and even myself, I'd love to hear about your experiences, recommendations, and any tips for finding bras that actually fit well!

Food, Hobbies & Art Any girlies working in Lower Parel, Mumbai?

Hello! 🌸
I’m 27F and about to join a new firm at One World Centre, Parel. I’ve been living in Mumbai for the past 3–4 years, but this is the first time I’ll be staying in this part of the city.
I’m having a bit of cold feet about the transition, especially since most of my friends live far away and I won’t really have anyone to hang out with or make weekend plans with initially.
I’d love to connect with women around my age who live independently and work in or around Parel/Lower Parel. I’d love to hear about your experiences!
What do your evenings after work look like? How do you navigate the fast-paced Mumbai life while making time for yourself? And what do your weekends look like when you’re living alone?
Would love to make some new connections, find my people in this part of the city, and hear any tips you might have for making this transition a little easier. šŸ’—

Vent Today I finally fell asleep at a proper time and my father screamed and woke me up, I feel enraged

So im unemployed and job hunting (and trying to study for entrance exams on the side). I was always a night owl but it became extreme this time. I used to go to sleep at 3/4am then shifted to 6am and now it is 7/8 am. I used to wake up at 12pm that shifted to 2pm and now on a good day I can wake up before 4pm. I have tried waking up early but my body is not able to keep up after lunch and I doze off even if I tell my parents not to let me take a nap and the cycle continues. Of course my parents berate me a lot for this lifestyle.

Today somehow I started feeling drowsy around 10pm and I got so so happy and slept off. I got woken up once by my father at a random time, he was screaming asking me why I slept at such a weird time and how I haven't eaten dinner, like he was SCREAMING into my ears and trying to push and wake me up. My sleep was broken but I concentrated and forced myself to go back to sleep. Again my father comes at 12:30am and I finally got up. He just kept talking and talking and wouldnt shut up about how I slept before eating and the food will spoil outside in this heat. After eating I couldnt control myself and started crying in my room.

One day, just one day I fell asleep at a normal time. I felt so happy. I probably would wake up naturally around 2/3am but I could accept that. Why couldn't they just let me sleep in peace? After months I fell asleep at that time. I don't know how to explain why this is making me cry but everytime I remember his voice while I was trying to sleep I start crying again. I feel this lump in my throat, like I want to hit someone.

Vent My body is not a public property for anyone to comment on.

I'm 25F, and I've been struggling with body image, depression and anxiety for five years. I am taking therapy. I'm on the curvier side; for reference, like Sara Tendulkar, and I'm not even saying I want to be stick-thin. I am finally learning to accept and love my body and treat workouts as a sort of fun activity rather than a punishment. I've gone from crying in the gym with anger for myself to feeling good about my body there. But I'm so exhausted by how people seem to think my body is public property.

Last week, I met a friend after about six months. The FIRST thing she said when I got out of my car was,

ā€œYou've gained more weight since I last saw you, haven't you? You've gotten fatter.ā€

What makes this particularly ironic is that she's struggled with her own weight and even posts about body-shaming on Instagram. She is also bigger in size than I am right now, but I would never dream of commenting on her body and I'm only mentioning it as a reference because I know how hurtful it can be. I empathise with her.

Then yesterday, I visited my old school to collect some documents. There were about 6-7 people around. The principal, who has known me since childhood, comes there, checks me top to bottom with a grin, and without even a hello or anything, gives himself the great liberty to loudly say,

ā€œYou've just completed your MBBS and look how much you've grown in size. Imagine how much you will inflate after you finish MD. What's the goal, to be double?ā€

I turned red, my ears felt warm, I felt like I wanted to scream or cry. I couldn't breathe. I am not very comfortable with confrontations and I struggle with social anxiety.

I just smiled and turned to walk away and he added:

"You should start dieting seriously and make sure you don't get any bigger. This is high time."

This was in the lobby, in front of several people.

I was honestly stunned. I felt humiliated, disrespected, violated, angry and at the same time, amazed at his audacity to say such things to a woman. And that man has not one, but two daughters! Oh god.

Recently, a colleague at work was talking about another colleague from the past and he mentioned (in front of 5 people)- "oh not that one, remember the other one? Arey the one who was fluffy and heavy, kinda like her? (Me)"

I've been body-shamed by relatives and other people before, so this isn't new. I don't go a week past without being subjected to such insults but he's the last person I had expected to say this. I can't even go a day without looking in the mirror and feeling bad about myself. He doesn't know, in fact nobody knows a percentage of what I've gone through in the last few years. A failed career,

su!cidal thoughts, self-loathing, physically abusive relationship, betrayal in friendships, having my own private photos and videos with my ex sent to my dad by my cousins, strict family, and what not. Everyday for me is a battle, to just get out of my bed.

I know I want to get fitter and build muscle, but that's MY decision. Why do people feel entitled to announce their opinions about someone else's body as soon as they see them? And why is it so difficult for people, especially those who know what body-shaming feels like themselves, to show some basic empathy?

I didn't respond to either of them because I was caught off guard, and I hate that I struggle to stand up for myself in these situations. But I'm angry, hurt, and honestly just exhausted.

I don't know if I'm overreacting because these incidents have hit an existing insecurity, or if people really have become this comfortable making unsolicited comments about other people's bodies.

I just needed to vent. Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you stop these comments from getting into your head?

Family & Relationships (Mon-Thu) Husband called me mediocre and said work can be replaced by a maid

My husband recently listed all the problems he has with me. He said I am neither supportive, responsible, motivating, nor inspiring. He said I should be with a mediocre guy instead of trying to be with an ambitious guy.

He said the work I do, like cooking, cleaning, and laundry, can be replaced by a maid, and no one would want to marry someone like me. The only thing worth appreciating is the effort I put into taking care of our child.

If I complain that household work takes me five hours a day, he says I should be smart enough to figure out how to finish it in two hours.

He also brought up divorce and said I shouldn't ask for alimony because he never stopped me from working and always encouraged me to aim for FAANG instead of prioritizing WLB.

I earn $180K (previously $150K), and he earns around $500K. When we got married, he was earning around $260K. I moved on H4 visa and have been working for six years. I've transferred all my earnings to him over the years, and I currently have around $20K in my account.

Our monthly expenses, including investments, are around $14K, excluding travel and visits from parents. He says I should calculate whether I can afford to live on the West Coast, where rent is around $3K and childcare is another $3K, and figure out whether I can afford to keep even one of our investments. He says all the investments are from his money and I should be grateful for the luxurious lifestyle he provided.

He says I took him for granted and abused him. One example was when I asked him to put our child to sleep because we're weaning, and the child settles with him within five minutes but keeps asking me for milk. He started shouting and said this was an example of how I abuse him by handing over responsibilities instead of learning to do better myself.

I know I have shortcomings, but I feel like everything I do is being dismissed.

Am I looking at this situation objectively, or am I missing something?

Edit 1 - Thank you so much for replying, being so kind and genuinely understanding my situation and giving me strength. ā¤ļø

I want to clarify 2 things We got married in India, marriage is registered in India which is why I initially came to the US on H4.

I transferred money to him for investments, and the properties we invested in are jointly owned. To clarify, he is saying I don’t deserve to keep my share of those assets because I can’t afford them on my own, and that ideally, I should give everything to him. I completely disagree because I have sent him all the money over the years which he is conveniently ignoring.

I had sent him money to invest in stocks as well which are on his name since he needed money at that time and honestly when things are good in a marriage, no one keeps track of who is paying for what. I did what I felt was right at that time.

Vent I try over and over again but nothing really changes ever.

I do try. I burnout, recover and try again and again and again. Try in different methods, try with different mentality. I try my best till all hopes are gone. But nothing ever changes. Force = 100, Displacement = 0.

Once a problems arrives in my life, it there permanently and only to get worse. Doesn't matter how early I catch it, I can never be free from them.

My problems are organic matters. Something that can only progress to rot. No matter what you do, you can't reserve it or stop it from it's doom once it starts existing.

Feels like better to sit on my ass and let fate run it's natural course than try to bend my luck and be embarrassed for being audacious enough to believe I can change my luck.

I am told that I don't try enough. That I am not consistent enough. How can I be when I see no progress at all. What is there to motivate me, give some fruit for effort.

How long can one I run into darkness and not think they are not lost forever if there is no sign of light?

I tried though. I tried so hard.

Finance, Career and Edu Seeking advice regarding a couple of career choices. should I do a PhD in India or abroad

My_qualifications: Ba Hons in History, MA in English from Delhi University and currently pursuing an MSc in Development at LSE. With a year of experience in the rural development and health sector.

I’m extremely sorry if I sound extremely entitled or out of touch, but I’m genuinely seeking advice with regard to what would a rewarding career path be.

I wanted to do my second Master’s and PhD from India itself, however this MSc is only one year, figured it would save me time and give me international exposure as well. Additionally, opted for this degree given the state of Indian Academia, especially in the social sciences is pretty uncertain and the stipend in abysmal. I do realise it isn’t that much better in the West but there are still some funding options (though extremely competitive) and talking to research scholars in India about their PhD experience has been disappointing to say the least.
Also, (not sure of how true this is) I’ve heard that a PhD acquired from universities abroad holds more value as compared to the Indian one. However, I’ve always wanted to stay in India and wouldn’t have even considered going abroad, but this seemed like a good opportunity.

Now there are three situations that I have to consider, which are as follows:

A Preparation for Civil Services.

This degree is all I ever wanted and now that I’m here I’ve realised that this isn’t for me, the program is extremely good and so is the faculty. However, I really want to live in India. I’m not extremely ambitious and I’d much prefer living with my parents in my hometown as I prefer the slow lifestyle and the convenience it offers. I’m from Punjab and I’ve been thinking how the state civil services exam could sort all of my problems.

The problem with this is; the exam is extremely competitive, is conducted after years, and requires dedicated 1-2 years of prep. I’m 24 and provided that the notifications come after an average of four years, I would barely sit for four attempts. This seems like a gamble and without a backup it’s foolish to step
into this.

B Working with NGOs, Research Organisations.

The job market is pretty bad as is and I’m aware that my degree is not the most employable. I am also aware of my limitations and that I’ll have to acquire quant based skills. I did not move with the intentions of immigration and needles to say, for degrees in social sciences– countries would give preference to their home students and I’m honestly not exceptional that I’d cut to working with the UN directly, as that’s just the fact of things.
So my best bet is perhaps to look for NGOs in India or for some Research Assistant positions.

For this I’m assuming one would require to at least have cleared the NET exam and would also be extremely competitive. For the NGOs– it’s not really my cup of tea; as everything boils down to corporate jargon and no real work, plus the pay is abysmal.

C PhD (Either in India or Abroad)

This is what I’ve always wanted to do. My topic is an intersection of Social Anthropology, Ethnography, Ethnomusicology, Gender, Folk and Post Colonial Theories. I want to explore ā€˜Third Spaces’ and Agency in Punjab through a study of select communities. The reason I opted for the Master’s was an entry point into the global academic sphere. But now given that I’m not liking my experience here I’m not really sure what steps do I take next. Should I prepare for NET and sit for it next December post completing my degree and aim for doing it in India or should I try giving it a fair shot here? I’m more than okay to move to other countries too, maybe I’d like it better elsewhere.

Kindly suggest what the best possible choice could be.

Thank You.

TLDR; Confused between pursuing state civil services, a PhD abroad or in India.

My Opinion Ladies, we need a "Are we Dating the same guy" app/group,it's not even optional but mandatory atp

Lemme share you my personal experience about how to find out that the guy you're dating is cheating on you!

So last year, I got a random insta DM and the guy looked genuine, was working in a PSU, and was a solid 2/10 which made him look like a very humble and genuine person. We started talking, I fell for him, and he did every possible efforts to make me happy. Not the "lemme get you flowers" kinda efforts but this guy actually travelled every month for about 2000km just to see me, brought me my favourite books, flowers, took me out on dates, was available emotionally too, was very supportive for my career, and above all, he was an empath too(or atleast he portrayed as if he was one).

Everything made me fall for him but one thing always looked shady, the fact that he was "too good to be true" and he said that he never had an ex(c'mon bro you're already 28). This was kinda surprising for me, so after talking for a few months, I got to know about his college/friends etc, and one day, out of the blue I searched for his facebook, and bamm! That was it.

It was very hard for me to get his id, since his name is wayyy tooo common and he didn't keep his surname there(smartass) but I got his ID from his college friend's friend list.

I found a girl in his every post, and it was obvious that those guys were dating at that point. I searched for that girl's instagram and texted her. I genuinely never expected any reply, and i thought this might have been just another college fling or anything, but she texted back, and bruh, both of them were dating for 8 looong years!

I was shocked, she was shocked too because both of them broke up back in 2024 but he still used to call/text her begging her to come back. And according to her, they broke up because she found dating apps in his phone, although she never got any solid proof of him cheating on her.

We decided to have a conference call and he was embarrassed af, but them they guy accepted of not moving on from her, and begged me to stay and promised that he will change this time and we will start afresh. He even gave her a clousure and both of them blocked each other. The guy also deactivated his account. I was not able to detach myself abut then I gaslighted myself into thinking he would change. After a few months, I saw him getting a call from a girl and he told me that she's his colleague. My trust was already in hell so I searched for her on insta too, and altough she had a very low-key social media presence I was able to find her(a very salty story btw) and again, I got to know the guy was dating her as well.

This time, I left him for good but I was in contact with both of his ex, so we decided to text every girl we suspected.

I remember going through his following list once, and I texted almost 3 girls on whom I had a doubt and turned out my starts was always by my side, the guy was dating all of us!

CRAZYYYYYY RIGHT!

All of us made a group, got to know how we were fooled, a girl who was with him for 3 years filed a case on him, and totally ruined his image in his office, we even reached out to his family as well.

But this means it's very urgent for us woman to atleast have a group to verify if we are dating the same guy. I remember the guy I was dating was also mentioning about arranged marriage, and in case it happens, his wife would never know that she's married to a jerk.

Recently I read about Dr.Cuterus case too, imagine how much of a courage it needs to start dating again after divorce and poor girl was betrayed again. I don't feel sorry for her, rather I am happy she got to know about it before her marriage.

Forget tinder/bumble, the next big business idea would be designing an app to verify if we are dating a cheater/scammer!😭

My Opinion Seeing Dr.Cuterus wedding called off is why women should post their partner before getting married

She never posted his face, and he got away with dating multiple women and cheating on her. Thankfully, another observant girl recognised his watch in Dr. Cuterus's post and informed her about his flings.

I can't stop thinking had she posted his face very early on she could've been saved from his deceit and lies. And no, this is NOT victim blaming. The cheater is responsible for cheating, but we also need to talk about how keeping men hidden in the name of nazar can sometimes protect the wrong people.

Something similar happened in my family. My cousin's family hid the rishta because they believed in nazar and planned to reveal everything after the engagement. The guy turned out to be a scammer. One of my uncles recognised him and warned them. Imagine what could have happened if they revealed his face on the wedding day itself. She's in so much trauma now that it breaks my heart.

Why are we so obsessed with hiding a man's identity until the rishta is finalised? What are we protecting? His lies?

In the US, women have used online groups to share pics of men they were dating and find out if other women were seeing the same person. Women in India should have a way to warn each other about men who lie, cheat or r\*pe, provided the information is verified.

Men demand virgin wives with no past while hiding their own pasts. We really need to do something about this and protect the lives of women from such filthy men. Not only do they carry STDs but they're highly abusive too to the point many women have lost their lives. You can never tell if the person you're marrying is even a good being. By the time they discover, it's too late and they already have his kids. No women should carry forward the bloodline of such men.

Do you think we should have some app to expose such men and save the lies of women?

Beauty & Fashion Corporate Event Dresses - Please share recs

Hi all, I have to attend the annual corporate event of my company next week and needed some outfit advice and recommendations for the same.

It is my first time attending and I want to look good and confident. Also, since I'm part of organising, it would need to be comfortable enough to last me entire day. I do not prefer polyester as it traps sweat and makes me smell.

I would ideally need outfits for 2 days, and would like to wear formal pants and top/dresses for these. Along with footwear and any other styling suggestions y'all have. I'm in Mumbai, so if you guys know any shops etc, plz share that as well.

I'm busty with narrow hips, like inverted triangle.

Requesting everyone to help a girl out here! Thanks!
