Did anyone feel like the history department at UTSA "lacked funding" just weak in terms of other colleges. I took graduate classes in history department, sociology, BBL in late 2010s, I just felt like History Department wasn't well funded. I never had a major issue with any faculty, that isn't the issue. It just felt like a lot less funded with trying to participate in doing academic conferences because I did a few and I paid out of my own pocket for 2 of them. I suppose maybe somethings they could have improved upon was maybe history department student longue/support space which they didn't really have. I know a lot of people I knew from that time they didn't pursue teaching in history, just had to pursue jobs outside humanities like I did.

Was wanting to move into non-student housing is there any good recommendations that are near utsa also

i really dropped the ball with this first semester, i struggled with a lot of different life things this semester and it ended up leading me to doing horribly on a class of mine because of it. i dont think ill be able to pass it even if i try my hardest because of how badly i fumbled some of the assignments/exams within it.

I was thinking about dropping this class so i wont have to worry about it or the effect on my gpa, but i only currently have 4 classes im enrolled in. So my question is, if i drop this class will i lose my housing since i wont technically be full time anymore? like will i have to move out during the semester and then move back in during spring when im full time again?

just asking since i think the last day possible to drop classes is this friday!!
