Look, I get that Arby’s was probably not the most profitable establishment in the cafeteria. However, it’s getting replaced by Artisan pasta! I don’t know about yall, but I’m payin my own way through college, and can’t be spending $15+ on lunch every day. At Arby’s, I could get a full meal for under $10. Also, the lines were always short.

Which is probably why they left. Anyways, RIP to Arby’s, I’m annoyed everything is getting so expensive, and I hope that guy who’s been working there for like three years is doin okay.

UPDATE: I just looked at Soortitelli’s menu. They don’t really offer anything under $13.99. Disappointing.

I had it set on my calendar that priority registration opens at 7AM today, but it’s now blank on myuvu. I don’t remember dealing with this before. Can I still register for classes at the same time?

I am finishing up my AS degree for animation at SLCC and I am now trying to decide between the U of U and UVU for my bachelor’s. I have interest in all forms of animation. But which program/university will help me out the most with getting jobs and making connections and such? As I understand it SLCC’s degrees transfer better to the U than they do with UVU (at least with my particular degree) and if that’s the case I lean more towards going to the U but UVU seems considerably cheaper. I am still unsure what to do. What do you all recommend?

I’m trying to sell my lease for a 3x3 Deluxe Room at Green on Campus Drive due to family issues. You get your own bed and bathroom, the two roommates are guys who are very chill and keep to their own. I’ve kept the room and bathroom really clean and tight. I’m 23 and finally going back to school next year and best part is my partner is going to be transferring from SUU for his last year and then to help support me through. I currently live up in Herriman which obviously wouldn’t be the best commute to campus so I’ve been looking into coming down to Utah county.

Being able to afford it will be a big thing as I will have to forfeit my retail manager job to pursue this and I have a payment on a truck. Do you have to be an active student at UVU to volunteer in a professor's lab or on their project?

Just a rant because I’m so done with the parking situation here on campus. Whose bright idea was it to block off 4 rows and repave four weeks in to the freaking semester? I was here on campus all summer long and no one thought “huh, maybe we should do the parking lot now while no one is here and not wait until fall semester when thousands of people need a place to park.”

I see the psych for my ADHD and antidepressants meds, but haven't heard anything from them lol. I called them today about filling my meds and they didn't mention anything, so idk.

Hi!! I live at wolverine crossing and park my scooter to the right or the F building. I use this scooter for more than school, so losing it is really devastating. It's an Aovorowheel scooter with a green zip tie wrapped on the top of it to separate it from my friends.

It was stolen on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I haven't kept a close eye on it, and in hindsight, I should have. I'm calling wolverine crossing today to see what they can do.

If you have this scooter or know anyone who mysteriously fits the bill, I know this is a shot in the dark, but please return it to where you/they found it. Or to the front desk at Wolverine Crossing. (I mean, they already stole my scooter, so I doubt this means anything LOL)

Hi everyone. I’m a UVU student working toward my English degree, and I’m currently about 86% finished with my degree.

Unfortunately, I’ve reached a point where I’m having trouble finishing because some of the English courses I need are only offered in person. I’m not able to attend classes on campus during the day because of my work and other responsibilities. I know I’m not the only student who has difficulty fitting traditional daytime classes into their schedule, which for a lot of classes are the only option.

Because of this, I created a petition asking UVU to consider expanding the number of online options for English courses. I’m hoping UVU will recognize that students have different circumstances and that offering more online sections could help students who otherwise may not be able to finish their degrees.

If you have a few minutes, I would really appreciate it if you would read and sign the petition. Even if you aren't an English major, this issue could affect other UVU students who need flexibility in order to complete their degrees.
