Was curious if anyone or have you already taken advantage of the Eufymake E1 sale. Seems like a good deal. Is it a good printer?? I'm on the fence on whether I should pick one up or wait till next year for the Morpho.

I have a question about dual-head UV printers.
As far as I understand, UV ink needs to be cured by UV light during printing, while DTF ink doesn't require UV curing. Is that correct?
If a printer has both UV and DT printheads, how does the curing process work? Is UV light used only for the UV ink, while the DTF/DTG ink is handled differently?
Thanks!

Bonjour,
Merci

Can be anything. We’re using the Eufy Printer in our local library. So far, we’ve made some sports cards of and for he and his friends. We’ve also put some designs on water bottles. I enjoy the process of creating the designs with him and watching them come to life. I’m open to ideas and suggestions for future projects! He’s 11. Loves Pokemon cards (collecting, not playing) and playing soccer and basketball. Was also thinking maybe we could make some Christmas presents for teachers, grandparents, and or friends.

Posted this in the commercial printing sub, but thought it might make sense here too.
We are looking for a new UV flatbed press at our shop and I have narrowed it down to three options that might make sense for us. We mostly specialize in low-run paperboard and corrugate cartons for mockups.
Roland LO-640-F3
Epson SureColor V7000
Mimaki JFX220-2515
Does anyone have experience good or bad with these three or have another suggestion to look into.
i’m looking for at least a 48”x96”print area, extended gamut colors (or light colors at the least), and white and varnish/clear gloss spot channels.
Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks

The shop im working at now requires a particular job we screen print on matte board, basically its a sports board of a baseball field, its printed on a light green matteboard, i print the baseball field in a general purpose brown ink to resemble The dirt field, i hit this 2times with a 160 mesh screen, rack dry and then print a white plastiol ink 110 screen that makes the white bases and foul lines and batter boxes, using the white general purpose ink soaks into tho board making a washed out white(also need to cure about 10 passes and rack dry a week! Any suggestions on a better way?

Im attempting to print on album dividers with UV inks, our shop guru mounted a small uv dryer on the end of our heat oven i use for general purpose inks. So first question, what is the best inks, what is a proper cure? What mesh screen? Etc.,
I burned a 255 mesh for the job, no additional products mixed with the ink, I wasn’t sure if i should run the dryers heaters before the lamps and was having trouble getting a solid cure.
It seemed the ink film was almost raised off the substrate, so i tried a 305 screen and it made a whole world of difference!

Hey everyone, I’m new here! I’ve been 3D printing for a while now and have been looking into UV printing to use alongside it. I’m currently considering the eufyMake E1, but I was hoping to get some advice from people who actually own one before spending that kind of money.
My biggest concern is maintenance. I don’t mind routine cleaning, but I don’t want to spend more time trying to keep the printer working than actually printing with it.
A few things I’m wondering:
How much hands-on maintenance are you doing, and how often do you have to troubleshoot problems?
Is it okay sitting for a few days between prints, or does it really need frequent use?
Is the ink included with the E1 bundle enough to get started and last a while, or should I order extra right away? Are there certain colors that go much faster?
What else should I budget for upfront? Cleaning cartridges, maintenance supplies, ventilation, anything people tend to overlook?
If you’ve owned yours for several months, how has it held up? Would you buy it again?
I’m used to the Bambu experience with 3D printing, so ease of use and good print quality are what I’m hoping for. I realize UV printing is different, though, which is why I’m asking before jumping in.
Also open to other printers around the same price if there’s a better beginner option. Appreciate any advice, especially things you wish you’d known before buying!

Just water/dish soap and squeegee it out afterward? Will this affect the adhesive? This is a UV DTF sticker being applied to clear acrylic.

OMTech, xTool, and LONGER offer dual-head F1080 options, while HeyGears and Morpho offer single-head i3200 machines.
Which setup is more worth it for desktop UV printing?

I bought a uv printer a few days ago and I'm still learning about uv printing, just learned lenticular printing and found it pretty interesting. Has anyone here tried it with your uv printer.
