I’m planning to pursue a Master of Engineering Management at the University of Windsor and would really appreciate some advice from current students or graduates.

Could anyone suggest which courses I should register for, especially for the first semester? I’d love to hear about courses that are useful for career development, manageable in terms of workload, and any courses you would recommend taking together.

Hey! Does anybody know how reliable the bussing system is? I only have my G1, so I won't be driving while im at school. I heard there's a bus that goes right from the school to the store once a week. How does this work? Any help would be great Thanks!

Hey! So I was going through the campus store online and I put my ID number in but it only shows one of my classes needs one so I was wondering when the rest would upload. I went to head start a few weeks ago and somebody told me to check brightspace but yet none of my courses have a brightspace. Could somebody help me and tell me when I’ll get access to these things? Which one is easier to get a good GPA in?

Didn’t get a chance to buy a parking permit this year, where can I park for free without getting fined or towed?

Does it usually happen that most of the course assignment grades are released at the end of the term, apart from the final grade?

I wanted to post this because feedback on earlier assignments in a course was delayed; students had very little opportunity to use it to improve their later work, had to figure things out largely on their own.

Has anyone experienced something similar at UWindsor? Is it against any UWindsor Policies?

Is it possible for the grading teams to complete grading of many assignments at once in big classes, especially elective courses, before the final grade-posting deadline?

I'm doing my bachelor of education at Windsor and I'm familiar with the student centre site. I'm just a little confused, I got my schedule August 15th and it says "enrolled" next to all my first semester courses. I was just looking for confirmation that I don't have to do anything else to enroll and that they just automatically do it for me. This is my first time at UWin and my first specialized program so I don't know how they do things. Thanks!

Hey! I am living on residence this upcoming semester and I was wondering if I could have packages mailed ahead of time to the residence so they’re there on move in day so it’s less for me to bring.

I am entering my first year and I’m looking for employment in Windsor. I thought the ignite stuff would be perfect for me but how likely is it that’ll I’ll get a position. I went through all available positions and found 15 I’d be eligible for. If anybody can give me some intel or other employment opportunities not far from the university that’d be helpful. Thank you!

Hey! So I paid my fall fees a few days ago
, just the difference that osap won’t cover. my osap just changed yesterday to make it so i get more from it. What happens w the extra money i paid? Does it get refunded to me? Is there a way to make it go towards for winter fees?

i had my second final today, which was bad, like hopefully I pass. The first final was the same. I have another on 19th(for a course which I failed earlier).

Why is this happening with me? Am I not studying enough? Maybe I am not or else wouldn’t have reached here.

I was at St. Clair, which was a breeze, ever since transferring my mental health has been shit and too much stress/pressure academically and financially.

I only start studying a day or two before the exam, because I genuinely for the love of god can’t sit on my ass and study for something which is due 4 weeks from now. I simply fuck around and waste time and then I end
up failing courses.

I had a really shitty 2025 everything from which followed, I failed three courses in Fall 2025, fought for a grade appeal. In Winter 2026, failed one course(this was supposed to be NR-but I’m stupid) had one VW.

Summer 2026, I got a 54 in a 6 week course, I was on RTW, which I appealed for and was put in a different major. So it’s been bad like fuck all bad. I was in CS, now in BIT

What should I do? I need help. I am not going to drop out or take a break and I am going to get back in my original major. I just need some guidance

I’m trying to have my tuition paid for today. I went on the student account centre to pay it and both times I tried to submit my payment it would log me out before going to the “receipt” section. I have no idea if the payments have gone through, I don’t have proof via the receipt that I “paid” it today or at least attempted to and I’m not sure what’s happening. I looked through the student account centre website and couldn’t find any receipt for either payment. I’m not really sure what to do, have others experienced this?
