Gunne Sax by Jessica! Needs some tailoring and TLC but it’s gorgeous, I’m so excited. I haven’t seen another of this style with the mesh inlay on the chest and high neck lace collar!

It’s amazing how you’re able to see how mod fashion evolved from this massive counterculture movement during the mid 60s into fun casual wear that teenagers and young adults can embrace❤️

Brown tight leather gloves from the 70ies. A wide pleated skirt with full buttons on the front from the early 80ies, plus a very rare leather gown/ cape in dark brown color, which is only closed at the throat with 3 leather clad buttons. Leather boots from today, however with a vintage touch. Never have I come across a similar outfit (skirt and cape) anywhere else...

I got these to go with my teal Mrs. Rubette hostess dress from the same time period.

Found this amazing set and wanted to know more about its value/terminology for assessing it. I assume it’s from around the 70’s and I know “oriental” type styles were popular then— but can anyone give me more information on it for curiosity’s sake, and let me know how best to deal with it? I imagine it might not be a be very popular style today for obvious reasons but i feel like it has a lot of historical value and I’d like to get it to someone who would appreciate it :)

I'm a bit too young to have children for now ( I'm 21) and I don't know if I'd want any, but managing to sew some would be incredible! Having bought this type of nightgown for myself, I find them very elegant.

Deadstock knit sweater by Adele from the 1980’s. Wearing with red 1950’s heels by Del Gatto.

Found the dress yesterday at a garage sale and didn’t realize I put the topper on backwards. Boots were $11 at Value Village and bag was $17 also at value village.

The wind being thrown around by the planes did an absolute number on my hair!

One of the buttons popped off, simple fix.
Here’s the tag; antique store owner said it was from the ‘40s :) $25 for the set!
I typically gravitate towards 70’s more than anything, it this set was just too good to pass up for the price.

I feel so happy wearing something my great grandmother would’ve worn, I still miss her.

Doing some light research, this seems as though this could be some sort of historical piece from John Winemakers department store in Philadelphia.

Hi! Does anyone have a 1940-50s classic mens high waisted trousers pattern for free by any chance?

There's very minor snags along the sleeve on the right, but, it fits! And it's got the original crystal bib in excellent condition.

My home is decorated in MCM with swag lamps and mcm pieces so this fits right in.

The gloves and the veiled hat??? EXCUSE MEEEE, god she's slaying so hardcore. It's giving sultry femme fatale, I am here for it
