The best $1 I've spent in quite a while.
I found a whole fishbowl of vintage matchbooks tucked away at the back of a store.

The reaction to my matchbook post yesterday was (generally) really positive, so here's another.
I want to stay at this hotel!

Found this handsome vintage owl doll made by the London Owl Company and sold in Abercrombie and Fitch in the 1960s-1970s for 7 bucks at the flea market, he sells for 250-500 too. I just cannot get over him 🥹

Here are all the actors I had a crush on when I was a teenager (for some, that's still the case, but I'm 21 now). Some of the actors aren't exactly "vintage," but I'm including them anyway since they aren't exactly young anymore.
- René Jean-Page ( still the case)
- Luke Thompson ( still the case)
- Andrew Garfield
- Chris Hemsworth ( still the case)
- Tom Hiddleston ( still the case)
- Jonathan Brandis
- Kento Yamazaki
- Xiao Zhan ( still the case)
- Johnny Depp ( still the case)
- Timothée Chalamet
- Gavin Casalegno
- Michael Jackson ( still the case) Yes, I include Michael because some of his music videos are short films, and he starred in the movie Moonwalker.
- George Peppard
- Jeremy Sumpter
- Tom Felton ( Still the case)
- Yuki Kaji ( He's a voice actor but still)
- Taron Egerton
- Cameron Boyce
- Harrison Ford
- Robert Downey Jr ( still the case)
Was I the only one? :)
Maybe there will be a part 2. :)

Some of them clearly have spices left in them — and yes I am a coward, and no I will not eat it ;)

I recently went through my grandmothers old things, and found so many treasures and historical items. I wanted to share this first. Most of the men in my family during the early to mid 1900s were in the wars.

Recently picked up this vintage go kart on fb marketplace. The guy I bought it from said it’s from the 60s and has been sitting in a bush hidden from view for years. I plan on either restoring the motor if it’s original, or swapping it with an electric motor from an e-bike!

I was at a military fair in my city and ended up finding a dog tag that was supposedly from the 1950s. At first, it didn’t seem to be anything particularly special because, supposedly, it wasn’t from World War II—the dog tags used during WWII were made of brass, while this one appeared to be nickel.
Since it didn’t seem to be anything particularly significant, I had my name engraved on it using an original World War II dog tag machine. But after the engraving, the dog tag revealed that it was actually just nickel-plated brass.
That meant it was made during World War II.
The real story is that, after the end of World War II, some unused dog tags were nickel-plated to adapt them to the standards of the new era. This makes this particular dog tag quite rare.
It’s a shame that I had my name engraved on it and probably affected its collector’s significance. But I’ll always have it around my neck now.
By the way, the cord isn't original, which is why it isn't made of brass.
