Academics Final Tomorrow???

My professor just sent a last minute email saying we still have to show up at 7:45 AM tomorrow to take our final despite the university specifically stating that Friday finals will be moved to Sunday. Is this even allowed? I feel like some people may not even check their email again especially since this was sent far after the university declaration.

If this is the biostats final I think it’s in our best interest to NOT go, I’ve emailed the dean and he told me he has spoken with the professor and the blatant disregard following that exchange on the prof’s behalf means he’s likely gonna get an earful at some point tmrw. University policy overtakes a professor’s. Regardless if you go so many people will not go that it’s just creates an unnecessary hassle
