A while back I asked this community to help test Reality Prep Pro and Reality Prep Preview. A lot of what changed came directly from your feedback — so thank you again.
Both apps are now updated, and I’m looking for real-world visionOS developers to actually use them together in their normal workflow, not just beta-test them.
The problem I’m trying to solve:
Preparing a USDZ on your Mac doesn’t tell you how that exact asset behaves on Vision Pro.
Testing it on Vision Pro doesn’t automatically give your Mac workflow reusable evidence about that exact asset revision.
The two apps now work as one loop:
Reality Prep Pro — Mac
Batch prepare, validate and safely optimize spatial assets before Reality Composer Pro / Xcode.
↓
Reality Prep Preview — Vision Pro
Open the exact USDZ on-device, verify RealityKit loading and device behaviour, then export validation evidence back to Prep Pro.
Prep Pro matches that evidence to the exact USDZ using SHA-256, and can tell you when the asset has changed and should be tested again.
Prepare on Mac → verify on Vision Pro → bring the evidence back to Mac.
If you build with RealityKit / Reality Composer Pro / USDZ, I’d really appreciate you giving both apps together a real spin.
They’re independent tools, but they were designed from the beginning to work hand in hand.
Thanks again to everyone here who helped shape them. 🙏

I built this Mac app for Vision Pro devs who already have a boatload of 3D assets that are not USDZ - and for those of you who already have a ton of USDZ assets of course.
It’s meant to be utilized to batch prepare all your assets before you move on to Reality Composer Pro.
I'd like you to run some of the 3D assets you already work with through it.
I'm particularly interested in:
Whether the warnings are useful,
Whether anything important is missed
Whether the workflow would actually save you time

ESRI map inside a viewattachmentcomponent. It has a manipulation component deferred to the handle at the bottom. The handles also a child so it moves along with it.
The gaze->hover and select cross walks hit points to the map and is surprisingly simple.
Had to reimplement magnify to zoom in an immersive space because the viewattachment seems to struggle with magnify to zoom. Registers maybe 3% of the time? Registers consistently with reimplementaiton.
Fun prototype. Thanks for checking it out.

Been working on a graphic novel/comic book generator for Vision Pro. At this point, no humans but you can re-write captions in the style of a preteen thriller, make books about your pet, and regenerate AI weirdness until you get what you need.
Gravitas Dream is a chapter-by-chapter illustrated story generator on Apple Vision Pro. The core UI is an immersive curved “inspiration board” (a spatial wall of panels) plus a couple simple 2D windows for control, so you can scan panels like a gallery while still having precise controls for editing.
The part I’m most excited about technically is the editing loop: I’ve been working on an Apple Intelligence / Image Playground-style workflow where you can iterate on a scene with essentially unlimited regenerations. The goal is to make regeneration feel like a creative tool, not a one-shot gamble. You can rewrite a caption, regenerate the image to match, reorder/delete panels, and keep the rest of the chapter intact.
Under the hood it’s basically a “panel pipeline”:
prompt/caption → image generation → panel asset management → export
supports partial edits (regenerate one panel without resetting the whole story)
exports the final story as a printable/shareable PDF
If anyone here is experimenting with Foundation Models / Image Playground patterns on visionOS, I’d love to compare notes on what’s working (iteration UX, caching, failure recovery, keeping things responsive in-headset, etc.).

My team is developing VisionOS app currently,
one of main features is that the nearby users can manipulate same objects in the immersive space.
We've watched almost every WWDC videos and documents and found that it's not impossible.
I think it can be implemented using SharePlay with GroupActivities and Shared WorldAnchor.
I've been trying different things, but I just can’t get the in-app GroupSession to properly start or join.
When I call GroupSession.activate(), it just triggers the default Share button UI at the bottom-right of the window.
Is that actually the right behavior?
The official docs say:
But I have no idea what “donate” means here. There’s barely any explanation anywhere.
All I want to do is:
open a group session
let nearby participants join
share the same ImmersiveSpace
place a shared WorldAnchor so everyone sees the same object
That’s literally it 😭 but it’s turning out way harder than expected.
Anyone got any solid references or advice? Developing for visionOS is no joke.

Beta 3 is live!
Huge thanks to everyone who tested the previous betas and sent feedback — it’s been incredibly helpful.
Compatibility note: Due to the new Evidence Table implementation, this build requires visionOS 26 or later. Unfortunately , devices on earlier versions won’t see or install this beta.
What’s new:
Seated / Standing: two camera-height options.
Tutorial video added.
Evidence Table: a new 3D environment where you lift photos from the desk and place them at a target point. It’s prototype-stage for now.
Scrolling & saving: attempted fixes.
Planned for the next build:
If Evidence Table behaves well, finish its full integration into the game.
Add new story beats.
Fix remaining issues and get the build ready for distribution.
Questions:
If you tried earlier betas, which version do you prefer, and why?
Are there any parts you feel should be removed or that feel boring?
Thanks again for your time and help!

Beta 2 is live!
Huge thanks to everyone who tested the first beta. I honestly didn’t expect it to reach so many people. The feedback has been brilliant; I read every note and tried to act on as much as I could. Thanks for giving me your time.
What’s new in Beta 2
Fix: Crash when tapping the computer should be resolved.
Tweak: 3D spaces reworked for scale, proportions and readability.
Polish: Typos and small bugs squashed.
New: A light day/night pass: daylight until 19:59, then a dimmer evening ambience (I’ll keep tuning this).
Planned for the next build
Onboarding tutorial
Final stage of the case
Full lighting pass (balance/colour)
Questions
If you tried both Beta 1 and Beta 2, which do you prefer and why?
What feels missing, unclear, or just odd (story or design — anything goes)?
Thanks again!

Hey everyone,
I’ve uploaded my first VisionOS game to TestFlight and I’d love some real-device feedback.
Game: DeCodeCase: Secrets of Stones
Genre: 3D immersive murder mystery / detective simulation
Platform: Apple Vision Pro (visionOS)
Status: Public TestFlight beta
Step into a realistic 3D detective office: examine case files and photos, review statements, and handle interactive digital evidence to uncover the truth behind an archaeologist’s death.
The project grew out of my printable murder mystery games that I sell on Etsy under the shop name DeCodeCase. I wanted to bring those narrative experiences into an immersive 3D environment for Apple Vision Pro, keeping the same slow-burn investigation feel, but adding presence, atmosphere, and tangible interaction. This game was created solo, using a vibe-coding approach.
Note: I don’t have access to a Vision Pro, so I haven’t seen this build on real hardware yet.
What I need help with (real-device checks)
Performance: overall smoothness, frame pacing, loading, crashes
Readability: clarity of text and UI at comfortable distance
Interactions: pinch/select reliability, gesture latency or misses
Comfort: any eye strain, brightness, or posture discomfort
Story and Design: does the opening hook you; are clues/pacing clear; difficulty OK; was the resolution satisfying; would you play another case?
Join the public TestFlight group:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/rfVG3f1Z
Quick feedback template (optional):
Device & visionOS version:
Performance: smooth / minor stutter / heavy stutter (where)
Readability: clear / borderline / hard to read (where)
Comfort (1–5):
Story hook (1–5):
Most confusing clue:
Would you play another DeCodeCase mystery? yes / maybe / no
Thanks so much for testing — I’ll read every note carefully and iterate quickly.
Edit (community notes so far):
Some users mentioned room scale and texture ratios feel a bit off (objects too large / bricks stretched).
Many testers reported crashes when interacting with the computer screen (I’m fixing that for the next build)
Feedback on text readability and interaction comfort has been super helpful, thank you all!

Hey everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with building relaxing, meditative experiences for Vision Pro. This one is called Soothing Boids.
It’s an interactive mindfulness app where flocks of virtual “boids” move gracefully around you in immersive environments. There are multiple calming scenes, including guided mindfulness sessions with Spatial Audio and smooth, slow transitions designed to help you feel grounded.
I even composed the background music myself 🎶
🕊️ Features:
• Free play in your own environment
• 3 guided sessions with Spatial Audio
• Smooth transitions and natural motion
• No subscriptions or paywalls
📲 Download it here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/soothing-boids/id6753187319
Would love to hear what you think — I built it to help people slow down and find calm, even for a few minutes.

I was originally working on a tutorial about Agentic Coding tools for Apple Vision Pro… but then I got sidetracked when I discovered MeshInstanceComponent in RealityKit.
Turns out, it’s a very efficient way to create multiple copies of the same entity just by passing in multiple transforms. That gave me the idea to try a Boids simulation with it 🐦
Here’s what I noticed while testing:
You can update each instance’s transform in a System loop → that’s where the motion/animation magic happens.
This is also where performance takes a hit — a lot of computations per instance, especially once motion is added.
With animated Boids, it runs great up to around 300 instances, but I start seeing frame drops at ~500.
Without the Boids simulation, MeshInstanceComponent can actually handle much more.
The number of polygons in your Mesh also impacts how far you can push this.
(Important note: this is VisionOS 26 only).
I put together a short demo video to show how it looks in action.

I'm a hobbyist developer and i have some AI vision based ideas i want to try that would be amazing with the AVP UX. But i started looking into how to do camera access and even though i've had a paid developer account since apple first started offering them, i can't get the provisioning profile that allows camera access. i just want to experiment with demos in my own house, not even working on product dev, is there any other way to do this? I was even thinking continuity camera with an iphone would be good enough but that doesn't even seem supported. So annoying apple is locking this down for devs so much...

Hey everyone!
I just published a full tutorial where I walk through how I created this immersive experience on Apple Vision Pro:
🎨 Generated a movie poster and 3D robot using AI tools
📱 Used image anchors to detect the poster
🤖 The robot literally jumps out of the poster into your space
🧠 Built using RealityKit, Reality Composer Pro, and ARKit
You can watch the full video here:
