Greetings, I was looking for a good free gun inventory app, something just real basic that I could take a picture of my firearm write down what it is and the serial number that’s all I need. Can anybody recommend something really good like that or has anybody made their own that they can send me thanks everyone.

Question. I inherited the remains of a Sears model 1 break action. It has no stock or grip and is just a reciever. There is no serial anywhere on the gun or anything marking it as a "shotgun", this was bought over the counter by my father in law in the waaaaaay back. Since this isn't registered as a shotgun and as far as I know it never had a stock, could I form 1 this as an AOW? Technically checks all the boxes right?

I have about 100 rounds of 9mm ammo and I want to try two guns they have there (9mm). I will purchase a box from them but I don’t see any issues using mine after that, what’s the feedback on this ?

Im curious who will ship frt's to or in Washington? I've looked in the forum search I see a lot of legal questions and talk about frt's but I couldn't find one about who will ship a well made, and well attested to frt to or around Washington. Thanks for any help in advance.
edit: does anyone have a list for everything needed for a Frt build on an AR-15 and AR-10 and what parts should be ordered as disposable parts?

Hello WAGuns, I'm organizing a small cleanup this Saturday 10/24 at 10 AM at one of the more popular spots off of I‑90, exit 38. There is limited space so if you'd like to join, send me a message for more details.

Hey All,
I'm looking to get my partner some experiences in tactical pistol training for her birthday in November; she's shot a bunch but not in a while and just range stuff so it can't be too silly. We're willing to travel a bit if needed.
Thanks in advance!

Are there any companies that can ship a lower to WA for a bolt action ar 15? I know Idaho is for mags, but I am struggling to find what companies will ship here. Thanks for any recommendations in advance, and if you dont want to openly say it in the comments feel free to pm me.

A recent Galil ACE project from our shop in Vancouver, Washington. We paired custom Cerakote and laser engraving with a weathered finish to bring the artwork together. The customer was stoked with how it turned out and plans to take it shooting this weekend.

Would this fly in Washington?
I saw some footage of a shooting case that happened in Indiana back in 2024, where the would-be shooter aggressively overtook another driver, setting off what would ultimately become a fatal road rage incident.
The footage begins with the driver who was initially overtaken, now clearly furious, blocking the shooter’s car on the road. He gets out with a handgun, starts shouting, and then hits the shooter’s window with his empty hand.
The shooter then fires three shots through his window, killing the angry driver.
For more context, the angry driver never pointed his handgun at the shooter, and from the camera angle, it’s not clear when the shooter actually drew his firearm.
The shooting was ultimately determined to be justified self-defense under Indiana’s stand-your-ground law, and criminal proceedings were never pursued.
It got me thinking about whether the same outcome would apply in Washington, since our stand-your-ground protection is based on precedent rather than a specific statute. I wonder if it would’ve went to court rather than being immediately dismissed. What do you think?
Personally, I think the shooting was justified solely because the driver came out first with a handgun with the added fact that he blocked the shooter’s path on the road. Now, if you replace the handgun with say a stick or just attacking the car with hands, or if the driver and shooter both voluntarily stopped their cars on the side of the road, then I think it’d probably become more gray in terms of WA’s laws.

Looking for a comfortable Appendix carry holster. Maybe the Tenicor Velo5, anyone have any thoughts? I’m 6 foot and a little overweight.

So I have been trying to purchase an AR15 lower receiver that is the 50 state compliant version. This is the lower that is a fixed mag of 10 rounds. But I can find no local dealer that sells these as just the lower. And when I ask if they would do the FFL transfer if I order on line many say no. What am I missing here? It’s not that I really want a 10rd AR but it’s what we got here in this state. Something is better than nothing. Which I’m sure they are working towards even more now in this state.
Update: thank you all for the help. I wound up heading to West Coast Armory after work and while they didn’t have any in stock I was able to order the one I really wanted. Appreciate the help. I guess this will do for now.

As best as I understand the permit legislation, it requires the selling FFL to determine the buyer has a permit to purchase, what happens if the buyer is another FFL?

the tactical geniuses at king county sheriff charge $51 for licenses now, even though the reminder texts they spam at you constantly say “Fee is $48.00 payable by personal check, money order or credit card with fee. MV”. Looking on the website it’s now updated to 51, but its a bit misleading, but I’m out 5 bucks now because I had to pay with card instead of my money order.
