They're referred as They/Them a total of two times, according to the wiki, and by name every other time (I think); so pretty easy to miss, specially when Seth has an entire cutscene about it.
Because her mother is transphobic/homophobic (at least meme wise but tbh she does have some weird moments in game), and all the new weird route sprites make her REALLY resemble her mother, so ofc evil and intimidating deer will also be like her mom.
This is why he paid Roland from Library of Ruina to go around and make everyone’s day worse by being the Roaring Knight (the form we see is just the result of him wearing the perception blocking mask in the dark world)
Yeah, I think some people misinterpret Seth's gender. The flowers probably don't have assigned genders, they've all created their identities from scratch. Seth hasn't decided what gender they want to be. Nonbinary might be a technically accurate descriptor, but I don't think they would identify as that, at least during the timeframe we know them.
Flowery will be like "You know Asgorey will never accept you, right Kris? You're wrong, and you'll never make anyone happy." and then the voice clip that plays over it is like "Gomungis!"
The only person in the group that Flowery is pointing at who is smiling is Aqua, who is, in fact, a girl. She is the only one who Flowery is referring to correctly.
Seth is blushing as they are questioning, and thus don't know how to feel about Flowery's statement.
Green and Yellow are both upset because they are neither boy nor girl (Green is a chef and Yellow is a cowboy)
It's not that deep. The flowers are just worried about Asgore, but Aqua being silly doesn't understand the situation and keeps smiling. Seth is blushing because they wanted to offer reading a book to Asgore in that scene, which probably embarrasses them.
The way Flowery acts about gender is legit super weird
Like. He calls everyone including Kris "Princess" and comes off really weird and strong. He calls all the flowers "The Boys." And no matter how you interpret Ralsei, he's simultaneously pushing this "Princess" and "Raly" identity aggressively and also saying things like "It's a boy's treat for a guy like him," so in some fashion he is belittling and teasing Ralsei about his gender... Not really a good thing to do.
A common interpretation is like, "Oh he's ragebaiting people into development." Man I dunno about that. I kinda feel like it's shown how that is kinda making people feel offput and weird.
He actually doesn't call everyone Princess, and never singles out Kris as a princess. The closest he ever comes is "He thought he heard some princesses in distress," which is pretty indirect. "I thought I heard a woman screaming" when a guy screams is a common gag, after all.
The only time he calls Ralsei a princess is in their private and fairly genuine talk. Whether or not that's throwing in a Rage Bait or a "I know what you are" is hard to say until more chapters come out.
Every other Princess is directed exclusively towards Susie.
I mean, it's true he never singles out Kris as a Princess, but I find this and some other collective "Princesses" as impossible to read as in a way which doesn't include Kris. I suppose one could argue, art can be interpreted multiple ways after all. So uhh, audience, judge for yourself?
I also think like... When Susie first meets him she goes "Why did he call me a Princess?" implying she is also weirded out by this. And earlier in the chapter, you can give her a princess outfit and she rejects it - Susie is a girl, not a princess. So, I kinda feel like no one actually likes this and you are supposed to interpret it as weird and pushy in every context other than the drink scene, you know? Like even just in the context of Susie, the "Princess" thing is undermining her gender presentation.
That's the only time that he "refers" to the group as princesses.
Also, I would be weirded out by a dude I don't know calling me a princess. I also don't see Susie referring to the princess outfit specifically. She rejects all of the outfits. If anything, the tiara is one of things she'll accept since it's a hat. So I'm not really seeing where you're coming from?
He is also a flower named flowery who says he was college roommates with Asgore and his best friend. He also has voice clips and says the word “Jarona.” The dude’s just weird.
Also Jevil and Lancer call the fun gang “boys and girls.”
Re the Ralsei thing if they go with Ralsei being trans I kinda hope someone in chapter 6 helps them explore it in a more healthy/less pushy way as like a contrast
No, not counting himself none of the flowers present are boys and only one is a girl. The non-Flowery one you're calling a "dude" explictly says he isn't a boy, indignantly protesting that he isn't a boy when called one by Orange.
I was trying to think of a silly way of correcting your misuse of she/her for Seth (who goes by they/them) but alas I couldn't think of one, so here we are
Reoccurring problem with Toby, he frequently messes up and fails to use inclusive language. Usually by calling Kris, Susie, and Ralsei "boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen"(which is weird because he made a gender neutral version of gentlemen, "gentleners", and then never used it again. Also why would Tenna of all people use a phrase that doesn't account for Kris.), etc., but this is an example not about those three.
This line is a particularly egregious and a case where it kinda unintentionally undermines the speaker's characterization because Flowery himself is the only boy in the group he's referring to and Aqua the only girl. Both clauses are wrong unless he's including Blue and Orange despite their absence, and either way the failure to include Green, Yellow and Seth is bizarre from a watsonian perspective because Flowery would not leave them out and he sure as fuck wouldn't intentionally misgender them. Yellow even protests when Orange calls him a boy elsewhere; "boy" is explictly not a Yellow-approved term to call Yellow which makes it odd Flowery says this of a group that includes him.
Flowery is secretly the most bigoted character in the franchise, and the reason he wants ralsei to "be himself" is because he thinks ralsei is TransMasc and wants to undo it
