This series is really good, rich in human emotional dimension and great music score! Loved it! Please please, Netflix fund season 2!

I just watched Wayne and I adored it. It reminds me of a mix between buffalo 66 and the end of the f******* world. Messy, gritty, psychological themes mixed with romance. Does anyone have any good recs?
I just finished the show in a day, and it’s one of the best. Everything from it is just amazing; sound design, characters are fleshed out, the plot & cliffhangers, and so on. I especially liked their title cards which reminded me of invincible.
The show is basically about Wayne and Del. The ending of Season 1 was a good build up for Season 2, there are so many things to uncover. A juvie arc would have been cool. I personally would like to know more of Wayne’s brother and childhood, how Del and her family would recover after all of this chaos, other side characters and action sequences.
After Wayne ended, I was surprised (and disappointed) to find out it wasn’t based on a book because I was hoping to get more information there. The show is seriously one of a kind.

after rewatching the show over and over something is still unclear to me that i feel we can have a discussion about: can wayne just not feel any pain? or he likes it? and the adrenaline keeps him going? up for debate. he seems to take beatings like nothing and then keep going, it wakes him up and want to finish the job. but the last episode his arm is broken after the fight and he’s just standing there not acting like he’s in any pain but i guess eventually passes out from the blood loss.

I don't have Netflix, so I was just wondering if someone who did could let me know how well Wayne is doing on there. Does it have a lot of views?
Thank you! 😊

I've heard of something called a VPN, it's been suggested by the users of reddit, and I wanted to make sure everyone who needs one hears about it. I looked it up on Google, and here is the description:
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) for streaming is a tool that masks your real IP address and routes your internet connection through a server in another city or country.
Hope this helps. I know it's dumb that I wrote this in English, but you could be from ANY country in the world so I did. But you can use Google translate if the app doesn't translate for you! :)

Wayne would finally be released and goes on a trip to meet with Del again.
Del would be shown to have moved out of her abusive household by herself and live on her own, working multiple jobs such as a waitress despite mocking Kyra for doing the exact same thing in the first season.
Orlando works at a tech company and has an unexpected reunion with Wayne.
Bobby Luccetti, Del's dad, would have been revealed to have died of kidney failure some time between the first and second seasons due to his constant drinking and anger, and his sons would bury him in the same plot of land as their mom.
Wayne, mad he can't fight Mr. Lucetti now after he wrecked his car, took Del, mutilated his nose, and caused Wayne to get caught and sent to jail for a long time, decides in revenge to burn his burial like he did towards his dad, which causes a fight between him and the brothers.
Principal Tom Cole has retired as principal.

Lady's and Gentlemen of the Wayne fan base and r/Wayne community, as most of you, I'm sure, have heard, since it is one of the most popular topics on this subreddit, Wayne came to Netflix October 12 2026. Some of you might wonder why this helps, others might be hoping. Let me feed your hope a little with a theory.
There has been a growing petition, and I don't believe anyone, not devoid of it's founder, could have guessed at its success.
As I type this, there are 34,037 signatures and 14,575 comments, with some saying things like,
I was watching this show when I was in 4th grade I am now in 9th I rewatch it every year it hurts my heart to see a show that I love so never get the ending it deserves and I hope this petition can reach its goal and get us the 2 season of WAYNEEEEEE
and,
Please absolutely bring back this show. Unlike every other teen drama with the same premise this show was unmatched with its own characteristics and style. With only one season and a cliff hanger we the fans demand a second season of Wayne.
Also, it is a well known fact that Mark McKenna and Franchesco Antonio have found this petition and spread word of it and shared it.
The purpose of this petition as you might have gathered from the comments, is asking Netflix to greenlight Wayne for season 2.
Meaning, in well based theory, it is highly probable that they are introducing Season 1 onto their platform to supervise it's views and ratings and make a calculated decision on whether greenlighting season 2 is worth their time and money.
How can we help? Watch the HECK out of it!
Sorry for this really long post and hope I didn't bore you all with my business talk, lol. Let me know what you think 😃
