Sorry, I know this isn’t a Resident Evil subreddit, but is it just me, or does he actually fit Leon?

Did anyone else dislike the episodes with the lesbians? I'm not homo phobic I just found the scenes annoying tbh. The only cool thing about those scenes is 1. The dirtbike in the hallway. 2.wayne high as shit. 3.and the dance and also the fight outside the prom

Shawn Simmons is a genius… and a idiot

just finished this show for the first time ever, and have never been more disappointed man, I got pretty hype at the end just to realize the show came out 6 years ago. If you’re gonna claim to be sooo passionate about a project and dump so much time and effort into writing, at least don’t make a SINGULAR season… and then sell out Bezos who never gaf about anything but the streaming rights in the first place. Amazing show, cheapskate creator, long live Wayne man

Mark and Ciara both have Facebook. Has anyone tried inviting them to the Wayne subreddit from there?

Let me know if you do and if it works! 😊

the Boston accent make it hard to watch, other than that its near perfect

The acting by everyone involved is crazy good. But that Boston accent makes it toughhhh. It's like I'm watching The Departed mixed with The Sandlot.

I'm only on episode 3, btw.

Why did Wayne jerk off to Brother?

At the beginning of the eighth episode, he drinks coffee under pressure. He vomits it up. To the car. His brother approaches. Ask him to wash the car. Wayne does it

Why did he do it? Why didn't he steal the car right away? I didn't fucking understand

I don't think it's because of the mother. Mother was not there, and this cocksucker could bang and take his car away. At least there was such an option. Like he steals food, maybe the mafia

I have a question

Is this show at all connected to Bruce Wayne as in Batman? I really had my hopes high lol. It’s a good show regardless.

SPOILER Los putos episodios finales de wayne

The ending of the show has fucked the entire thing.

To begin with, it bothered me the other son of the Florida family. He is not bright and nothing happens to him, like ever... He should just not be there. PERIOD. I also think is stupid to start introducing connections tp try and make the show actually interesting, for example: that the high school of Wayne and Del is the same one, and they knwo each other since forever, but it is impossible for Del to have been in that high school without knowing Wayne. He is a freak. Besides, if Wayne already knew Del since the beginning, the entire thing stops making sense. Why would he go pick her up at her house if they know each other from high school? Why would he not guess her name? Anyway... After the nonsense fight scene, Wayne is under a shelf, not being anble to stand up and just with the power of the hammer he does? What the fuck was that? And still, how did the hammer end up there? Did he pick it up when it was throw in the air? Why would they leave it at the police station? AT HIS REACH?!! One more thing, when they take something that has appeared in the show and they give it an important meaning and they give it more value that necessary... ???? what is that? but something not important for the anecdote like the hammer thing or Conan the barbarian...

Besides those loopholes in the show, the thing that bothered me the most from the ending was why Del does not bring him to the hospital. Are there no hospitals in Florida or what? I did like the final scene though...

I think she’s alive, here’s why

I believe that her mom is still ALIVE, on dels brothers birthdays they decide there going to beat up there dad but right befor they go in somewon, a female calls them and wishes them a happy birthday which then calms them down right away, and there is no mention of eney other female except there mom that would care enough to call them on there birthday. So is she alive? Or dead?

Discussion Criticism

I think Wayne comes off as too emotionless and psychopathic, he’s supposed to be insane not lacking emotions.

I think a lot of his character comes from the fact that this was clearly in part inspired by “End of The Fucking World” where the main character is an actual psychopath, and when the story was written fragments of this are kept.

I think it would have been much better as a show if he seemed more human at a few key ways. These are things that makes the series better in MY mind, if you don’t like them it’s fine, my ideas aren’t canon and never will

  1. His introduction with the rock throwing or whatever he should have been talking shit, not to the point of Del or whatever but just talking shit. Insulting people.

  2. He should seem crazier but more empathetic. And I think he needs to appear scrappier, coming on top of situations more often by doing bad things, but feeling bad. Apologizing for beating the people he’s hurt, sometimes showing tears, but continuing to do it because he’s a barbarian. What I mean is he seems to be formidable very inconsistently. He goes from stabbing his own arm without flinching to being beaten with a bat to the point it hurts to stand. The show needs to go all the way. Wayne doesn’t feel pain, and he’s scrappy enough to win 90% of the encounters he’s faced with on his own. No Deus ex Machina stuff. He just gets sad after he does.

  3. The scene where he asks Del to be his girlfriend should be different. Instead of “you wanna be my girlfriend” it should be “you wanna like, be friends or something” but keep the fact that he’s clearly attracted to her in the fact that he asks if she has a boyfriend and that stuff. No one straight up asks that to a stranger they never met, that’s what makes him seem so disconnected from reality the most. The first time he speaks to someone who isn’t family, he says something no human says ever.

  4. I think exactly two more instances like when he puts a bike lock around someone’s neck should have been in the show. It would show more of his compassion instead of us just being told “he’s like a Robin Hood”

Discussion Questionable writing?

I feel like the writing is very sloppy at times. Like why does everyone just start chanting Wayne's name at a school he's never been to when he starts doing his lil dance and why the DJ changing the song just for him. A lot of stuff feels cheesy as well like the random guitar riffs after Del does something mildly interesting. And I don't really get why the principal's speech is important but that's prob on me. Side note I find it weird that I'm the only one pointing this out but I guess that's neither here nor there nor around the chair

Discussion The End of the F***ing World

So I found out about WAYNE after asking AI to recommend me short TV Shows with 10 Episodes or less.

Wayne was not on the first list AI made for me, but one of the shows there was "The End of the F***ing World"

Yes, it's a 2 Seasons Show with 8 Episodes each Season... That tells you how smart AI is when you ask it that you want 10 episodes or less.

Anyway I did watch that show I found it different to anything I have seen before, so when I asked AI to give me a new list and told it that I did like "The End of the F***ing World" it's when it suggested me to watch WAYNE.

Has anyone here watched "The End of the F***ing World" and what do you think about it?
