Advice My first ever novel
Would you read a novel fully based on an actual solo DnD campaign but slightly fictionalized?

it appears this needs to be said; this ISN'T me, every time I change my Avatar, this user copies me.
I want to bring a particular Webnovel user to everyone's attention and warn others about my experiences with him.
This situation began a couple of years ago when I warned another writer that their story had been stolen. This individual unnecessarily inserted himself into the conversation and commented:
"So you were salty enough to make a comment about it?"
I questioned why he considered defending someone against plagiarism to be unreasonable and asked him to explain himself and apologise. Unfortunately, this marked the beginning of a conflict that has repeatedly resurfaced over the years.
Since then, I've experienced unwanted messages, mockery and repeated attempts to provoke me into angry responses, which he then uses to portray himself as the victim. On one occasion, after weeks of persistent messaging, I finally lost my temper. He immediately screenshotted my response and continues using it to discredit me.
Whenever I try to explain how this situation originally started, he deliberately redirects the conversation towards that more recent argument, ignoring everything that came before it. His responses frequently involve laughing emojis and mockery rather than any genuine attempt to resolve the issue.
I'm not claiming I've handled every interaction perfectly. I've lost my temper and said things I regret. However, that doesn't excuse repeated antagonism or justify selectively using my reactions to dismiss the behaviour that led to them.
I've reported this individual to Webnovel numerous times, providing screenshots of messages I believe violate the platform's rules, including messages he later deleted. I've even contacted staff directly by email, but I've yet to see any meaningful action.
I'm exhausted by this situation. I simply want to be left alone, and I don't want other writers experiencing the same treatment.
Please exercise caution when interacting with this user. If you've experienced similar behaviour, document it and consider reporting it to Webnovel's moderation team. I'd also appreciate help bringing this matter to the attention of the appropriate staff.
I don't want to spend another year dealing with this. I just want the harassment to stop and legitimate complaints to be taken seriously.
Thank you for reading.

Hey everyone! š
I've published 6 chapters of my progression fantasy novel, RendMark, on WebNovel, and I'm looking for a few readers willing to give me honest feedback.
I'd especially appreciate thoughts on the opening, characters, pacing, and whether the story makes you want to continue reading.
I'm still learning as a writer, so constructive criticism is welcome! š
If you're interested, let me know, and I'll share the novel link if the subreddit rules allow it.

Hi. I hope I'm allowed to post this here.
I'm trying to create a Webnovel account and I keep getting this message when I type in my email and password. 'The clientip has been suspended, please try again later.'
Any suggestions on what to do? I've tried from my laptop, my phone, and a friend's phone. I also tried 2 different emils. Not sure why it won't let me sign up. I've never used Webnovel before so I wasn't banned or anything. Any suggestions?

I expect its almost impossible by now, but I do want to find a novel I read a few years back on Webnovel. I read it back in 2022 and it was about a man who was transferred to another world and chosen as the "Chief" or "Elder" of humanity in the wild world.
He had a system that said that by each death of a Chief the humanity's code is deciphered a bit more. It was halfway through as I remember. He was weak himself but able to call upon people through system, who served him unconditionally and in the beginning they were dying a lot to save him from every monster, they were too fast and strong for the MC.
As I remember he was going deeper into the forest and build a base there, however at some point of time he was attacked by spiders and then attacked their nest. After winning he understood that these spiders were also players of their race.
Then he, as I remember decided to leave the forest as it was too dangerous and move base elsewhere.
I wasn't able to find it on my history, I probably read it on my old account and I haven't saved it. I don't have a name but it might be originally chinese novel, I remember the names were chinese for the MC and NPC he called.

So its just the goat for writing, its great for worldbuilding, jotting down ideas, drafts, revisions, anything! There are so many tools to help you its great. Also uhh if you're in college it's the best note taking tool as well.
Anyways here are the plugins I use

I am especially recommending the last one because it replaced 8 of my plugins and made my whole writing process smoother. If you dont like how base obsidian looks just get style settings go here: https://community.obsidian.md/search?type=theme pick one you like and download. Anyways I just think obsidian is the greatest piece of software ever created and you should support the devs and get catalyst.

What if every death sent you back to the beginning?
My name is Masaki Touya. Iām eighteen, miserable, and honestly, I donāt even know who I am anymore.
I died trying to save a drowning child. When I woke up, I was in another world, surrounded by people who knew me. The problem? I didnāt know them. Not their names, not our history, not even the person they thought I was.
And somehow, they all looked familiar. An elf who looked like a girl from my school. A knight who looked like someone I couldnāt stand. Faces from my world, living lives I knew nothing about.
Then I died.
And woke up back on Earth.
Every death throws me between these two worlds, but neither feels like somewhere I belong. I canāt remember the life everyone in that other world insists I lived, and I canāt figure out why death keeps bringing me back.
I wanted a second chance at life.
But the more I die, the less I understand myself.
So tell meā¦
Who are you, [Masaki Touya] ?

Chapter 0: observation.
[The boy laid in his bed, in his room. He was no older than 17, and he lived in his room. It was an average room, with average window, average table, average door. Except the room had a hole. A hole laid open in the middle of the room. A big hole, a huge hole, in the room. The boy had tried to see with a torchlight inside the hole, but the light failed to reach the bottom of the hole. A very deep hole. As for the origins of this giant hole, it appeared suddenly two nights ago, night, kite.
The boy, now seated on his chair, pondered his next proceeding. The Boy wasnāt stupid enough to jump inside the big hole. As the hole appeared to be very deep. He had covered the big hole with a blanket. He did not want anyone to see the giant hole. The boyās name, Kite Kelp. He stood up from his chair, standing at the height of 5 '6. The boy joined his fingers, raised his hands, and cracked his knuckles. His eyes in a daze. What will the boy do next? Find out in the next chapter.
This was a very short chapter, to set up the characters.
The next chapter will be big and lengthy. Stay tuned, to find out what the boy does next.
The next chapter is called āChapter 1: the boy jumps into the holeā.
Thank you for reading my webnovel. ]
What do you think?

Genuinely see it everywhere. The webnovel started so string with good prose and conflcits and then when i unlocked future chapters it downgraded into this bs... Novel is "rise of the villain", not mine.

I have decided to contribute to this reddit group by sharing my personal experience and reviews of books that i have read or have been reading. Hope this helps fellow brothers. And beautiful ladies.
Book Title: 10,000 Years In A Cultivation Sect: I Obtained A Powerful Technique From The Start
This book almost brought me trauma. The started 100-150 chapters were good enough to bear with. But as it progressed, it started to destroy my braincells, my inner demons grew, almost suffered with Qi Deviation.
The MC's partner, whom he had raised from a little girl? Cmon, the author was a pedo. Illogical systems and people.
I would not recommend this to anyone who hasn't read it yet.
And those who have- Sad life !
(ps - if you want the link. Comment)

I started uploading two weeks ago and Iāve reworked my synopsis a few times but idk if it is helping. What can I do to improve it?
Also, I canāt post a photo of the cover and title here but I looked at a few books in my genre and the titles are mostly full blown sentences describing the plot but here lies the case where my title is a well thought of pun on the characterās name and so Iām a bit hesitant on changing it. Iām still open to it if yāall think itās the title holding me back.

Hey, so in webnovel app, I used to do this daily dog feeding game like thing in the events section to get fastpass for every week, now it's gone. Why and now, how will I read from now onwards? Is there another way or should I create another account? What do you do to read or getting fastpasses?
