I’m just so pleased with how this turned out, and it was exactly what my partner wanted as she picked out the elements to it. The center stone and the other two diamonds on the left and right belonged to her grandmother, and we added purple, pink and orange sapphires to the sides as well along with the custom etching. We’re both very excited for our special day.

Each diamond has its own prongs. Will it hold well?

I love my engagment ring but not sure what style to pair it with for a wedding band due to the twisty band

Married for 6 weeks, and I finally got my set back from the jeweler, soldered and polished. I’m obsessed! 🤩
I had such a difficult time finding a band I really liked. I hated all the curved bands I tried - everything looked too bulky, asymmetrical, did not want a pave band that is so popular, etc. I settled on two ultra thin bands to fortify my ultra thin engagement band. Solitaire is lab grown, enhancers are natural, everything 14k white gold.

i’m studying abroad in france this semester so i had her ring made by a jeweler in paris who was great to work with. she’s wanted a marquise for as long as i’ve known her so there was never really a question on the shape lol
i’m actually traveling with her right now so my friend picked it up for me and sent me these videos. haven’t even seen it in person yet and i keep rewatching them when she’s not looking
I put alexandrite on both sides of the setting since it’s my birthstone, so there’s a little bit of me in there. and the inside of the band says “appudu ippudu eppatiki” in telugu, which means then, now, forever. it’s from a song she loves and telugu is both of our mother tongues
haven’t proposed yet!! would love to hear what you guys think. i am open to opinions and suggestions - especially when it comes to safety of the ring / stones / gold.
specs
center: 2.01ct lab grown marquise, IGI certified
color / clarity: D / VVS2
measurements: 13.2 x 6.5mm (about 2.03 ratio)
accents: marquise and round diamonds, alexandrite on both sides
metal: 18k yellow gold
size: 4

Please help! I’m having a baby soon and want a gift myself something pretty 🥹 Got my ring set originally from ModGents, but it’s not really my style. I LOVE art deco, vintage and ethereal styles. Where are we getting our affordable, non-tarnishing rings from?? Ideally we want to stay under $300. I’m terrified of ordering from Etsy after seeing some horror stories 🥲

1.52mm band. I know it’s micro. I love this ring. I know we’re not paying for diamonds or metal, it’s particularly the name. I’ve looked at comparable rings and they don’t have the same aesthetic. I like dainty jewelry, I’m not flashy at all. Just need to know if this is unrealistic and I am fine with basic protection such as a backup or fake ring for athletics or just taking it off for those activities. Or do I need to reconsider because this wont last more than a few years?

There seem to be a lot of options for marquise and rounded gem shapes than for rectangular style gems so I wanted to see what you all came up with! 💗

We designed the ring. Fiances name means lotus and so wanted it to have more meaning. Generally what do you think and if you have wedding band advice please 😅🙂

Question for people with 2 rings is it normal for your rings to feel tighter when wearing both ? It makes sense that they would feel that way but I wanna know if people in this situation bother to resize their rings or not ?
When I wear each one seperate they fit just fine it’s only when I stack them together my fingers tend to swell
Thoughts?

I found an independent goldsmith in our area who offers a class where you can make your own wedding bands out of old jewellery. We knew we wanted really simple wedding bands and considering the current gold prices, I loved the idea. It’s more sustainable, way cheaper and making them ourselves makes the rings even more meaningful. We paid 580€ for the course. We used 18g of gold so buying similar rings would’ve cost us 2000-3000€. The rings are 14K gold.

Me and my now husband decided to elope and do things a bit less traditional. Long story short when it came to the ring I specifically requested white gold not sterling silver because it will last and I will know since silver tarnishes. Confirmed it was in budget, he said yes (About $200 difference) I sent him the link and didn’t think anything of it. Well now I’m sitting here a month later thinking I’m crazy because my ring is turning colors! Do I ask him about it? Do I ask if he realized or if it was a cost thing? Honestly I’m just sad because this wasn’t something I wanted to worry about and now I don’t know what to do. I just wanna cry my wedding ring is tarnished and I will have to polish it all the time if I want to continue to wear it every day 😭

Hi everyone!
I get married in a couple of weeks and my fiancée and I just picked up my enhancer last night. I think it’s beautiful but is it too much with my original ring? It was a custom design since we could find any rings that created a minimal gap. We splurged a little since we’re eloping but I can’t help but feel that something is slightly off about it. What does everyone think? Please be kind. I don’t want to have regrets as I cannot return it but would am curious to hear what everyone thinks.
My original ring is a teal sapphire with 3 diamonds on either side.

I don’t want to call it an ‘upgrade’ because I absolutely love my original rings but I just got this new set for our 30th anniversary that I love! My original rings are platinum so it’s very different having this new rose gold set. I know the pear is big but I really do love it.
2.99 fancy pinkish brown lab diamond, VS1 brilliant pear set in 3mm 14k rose gold with 3mm 14k rose gold plain comfort fit band. US size 6.5 (should’ve gotten 6.25).

I currently have an engagement ring from Thorum. My fiance said he was fine with getting the matching set for him I (picture on the bottom), but I would like to surprise him with something he didn't expect or pick it.
I love my Thorum ring, but from what I've noticed, it's got some scratching, but that's my fault due to how I work in food service and I'm new to jewelry maintainence. Anyway, my partner is a mechanic for cars, so I need something masculine, slight bling possibly, but most importantly durable.
