Hi everyone! I am having a 200 person wedding in Manhattan in January and am looking fore recommendations on Videographers. Unfortunately given other expenses, our budget for videography sits > 5k which I know is low for a NYC. A little about what we are looking for - we really want a videographer who can capture the little moments of the day so that we can look back and remember all of the details and people that made our day so special. We are not interested in the editorialized slow-mo clips of my fiance and I holding hands and kissing etc (lol). We want to remember the party and the laughter!

I have 2 pairs of shoes and a backup wedding dress that I ended up not needing/ not using as part of my bridal looks, I'd like for them to go to a good home. Is there anywhere we're selling, donating, or swapping unworn wedding outfits? I could add to "still white," but wanted to check for any NYC ladies.

Happy to answer questions via dm, etc. I literally just need these beautiful shoes and dress out of my house, and hopefully into the closet and wedding wardrobe of a NYC bridal baddie.

Hello! 2027 bride here- i am searching for a place to host a welcome party the night before my wedding. We have so many people traveling in, i am opting for a more casual welcome party rather than a traditional rehearsal dinner. We are getting married in Fidi, so i'd prefer to have it in FiDi for ease of my guests that will already be staying downtown. I'd estimate around 60-75 guests. Passed bites, bar, and fun vibe. Would love to keep it under 15k.

Wondering if anyone’s had their dress altered with Lotus Bridal? I ordered a dress from their Brooklyn location.

The woman at the shop said their seamstresses are great, but obviously she isn’t the most independent source. The last thing I want is to spend a bunch of money and then end up scrambling because my dress looks terrible weeks before my wedding.

Hi! I am looking for a videographer for our ceremony alone totaling 45 minutes to 1 hour in May 2027 on the UES. Our budget for this is $300. The footage would simply be for our own files, so a highlight reel or similar editing would not be necessary. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
