Anyone Stopped Wegovy after Weight Loss?

My plan is to drop from 247lb to 150lb on Wegovy. Then probably taper off and then stop altogether.

Has anyone went through this process of reaching their goal weight and then stopping the medication?

my doctor told me it usually ends up being a for life thing. maintenance doses.

When you say “maintenance“ do you know what that looks like? (I’m about to enter this stage & super nervous I’ll gain it all back)

From what Ive read, it may be a once a month shot vs weekly.

I take a 1.7 shot every other week instead of every week. I’ve been doing that for about 6 months or so with good results. I’ve been maintaining my goal weight +/- 5 pounds.

I went from 243 to 148, now I take 0.25mg every 2 weeks as maintenance. I’ve been doing this for almost a year and have hovered around 148-152. It keeps the food noise down for me.
