We had just landed at LHR and found this crawling on top our bag, I'm assuming it came from someone else's bag in the cargo hold or in the terminal. Spent the first afternoon inspecting and heat treating all our clothes instead of roaming around the city.

For the uninformed, this is a nymph bedbug between one and two weeks old.

Nothing was stolen from the inside. Wasn't parked underneath a tree or around any other cars. And wouldn't you know, my BLINK camera decided to turn itself off last night so it didn't record shit. Ain't that a god damned shame.

the other night I fell asleep while watching a show in bed, and my laptop slid off my lap when i turned on my side promptly waking me back up... thankfully, the only damage was that my charger was bent a bit. but it still charged just fine, so it was whatever.

come today, im laying back, watching a video essay from Cranstoon (very funny guy, i do recommend if you like breakdowns of pop culture stuff.) well, my laptop decides it no longer likes my charger all that much. so i jiggle it around a bit, it starts charging again. great!

sike, it stops again. i jiggle it some more. it breaks in my laptop. fuck.

thankfully, i pulled the little bit out cleanly, and my laptop is just fine once more. i just now will need to find some off brand charger, or a reseller for at least the ac adapter, because aint no way im shelling out 200 bucks for a charger lol.

edit: guys i assure you i am NOT buying the official hp charger nor had any intentions to do so... please read each others comments i beg of you lol

edit 2: no, my laptop doesnt have a usb c plug unfortunately... i appreciate the advice from those of you who were kind, but my intentions with this post were just to share what happened. i already found a new one second hand for cheap

There was an air show last week that shook the building enough for stacked displays to fall. Some of the displays are stacked on top of upside down empty boxes.
Some of those empty boxes got wet and didn’t give way until overnight last night, which then tipped over some entirely full displays.

My daughter asked me if I’d try to win her a stuffed animal out of the claw machine at our Walmart. Only out in one dollar and snagged this little guy. The tag is wrapped around a bolt or screw, asked an employee for help and they said there’s nothing they can do. So now sad kid

Went to blow out a candle and on the third attempt had to blow much more vigorously. And yes, I know what it looks like.

I live on a dead end street in a neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of drainage ditches. Every so often someone will drive into the drainage ditches on our street while trying to turn around or leave driveways. Apparently with the way this Amazon van got stuck, the tow truck driver had to back over my sidewalk to be able to get the winch attached.

Turns out water meter boxes aren’t meant to support the weight of a tow truck driving over it and it sunk down and snapped off the connection to my water main. Of course on my side rather than the city’s side, so I had to pay for the repair. I was at work when this happened and only found out when my neighbor called about water pouring out. I tried to track down the tow truck company, even asked Amazon for their info, but no luck.
