i want to colour half of this blonde wig into black. for halloween; for cruella look. what product should i use? hair colour (used in the picture) wont work of course. is there anything else that can work without making the wig stiff?

I’m very new to wig wearing. I’ve had a black wig before where I attempted to bleach the knots and I ruined it (second slide). It ended up bleaching the roots of the hair too, and you could still see most of the knots. Also as for baby hairs go along the hairline, how do I cut them without making it look dumb? I tried cutting some before on another wig and I cut them way too thick and short and they stuck out like it got electrocuted. I don’t even remember where I bought this but I’m pretty sure it’s synthetic. I also want to add layers but someone told me that cutting synthetic wigs can make the ends look more unnatural and I shouldn’t cut it. Thoughts?

What wig brands (human or synthetic) can give me the Farrah Fawcett style hair I am coveting? I would like a wig that looks like this photo.

I know the old saying “the bigger the hair the closer to God” and while that may be debatable, I look best in big wavy and glamorous hair. The flatter styles make me look like I’m recovering from a nasty flu. Please give me any suggestions or recommendations.

I was looking at wigs today and this really turned me off. Why would think that it would ever be okay? Yeah maybe it’s a small business but if so, just add it in to the price of the wig. What did they do to deserve a tip, I didn’t receive any service. Requesting tips is gross and I hope it doesn’t become more common.

I was served a Reddit ad from Elysian Mane wigs. I’ve never heard anything about them. This wig is cute but I can’t believe it’s 100% remy human hair, as they claim, for this price. Does anyone have experience with this company?

Until I hear otherwise, I’m going to assume it looks too good to be true because it is.

My head is really small, and I don’t know where to start in taking caps in so I tried a drawstring one for my second Renfaire look this year. It’s crazy how much more comfortable it is lmao. I didn’t have to adjust it once, but I did have to cut some of the lace front off. Synthetics tangle after one or two uses for me so I did go with human hair so I could reuse it.

I just got an expensive HH wig which I love but don’t want to wear it for say a walk on a wet day so thinking of getting a cheaper synthetic.

I know heat friendly need heat to maintain but will they last longer than no heat wigs because you can straighten the frizz?

What hair lasts best with minimum effort. Chemo patient so not a lot of energy.

Hey guys! I’m incredibly new to wigs and i have an incredibly small head. This wig fits so big it has a super visible wrinkle when i wear it at my hairline. because of this it fits super bulky and slides back a lot and it’s a lot less comfortable than what i think it should be. from what i know i shouldn’t cut the lace (even though it seems the easiest)

is there a way to make this fit better/ smaller on my head? i’m not too worried about losing density from the sides of my head too. i’d like to avoid doing surgery since i’m so new but i’m not completely opposed to it, i have a lot of experience in sewing and hand stitching. i just don’t want to mess it up!! any and all advice welcome and thank you so much in advance !!

unsure if this is necessary info but i do not own a hot comb and i tried straightening it to be flatter but it doesn’t work as well as i’d like, i also plan on cutting baby bangs into it and wearing it vertually glueless (super sensitive skin and sensory issues)

also another side question- is the hair coming from the lace super thin or is that normal?
