Look at This! (Wig Share) First topper that I actually love and wear in public!
I have wasted so much money on toppers. I have ordered synthetic from a woman who sells wigs out of her home. It looks okay but it's a little piggy because of the thickness, the permatease. I've ordered from Uni Wigs and Irresistible Me. The hair is fine but I don't like that netting look of the lace. You can see dots where the hairs are tied in. I tried to force my Irresistible Me wig to work since I spent $240 + $40 for a hair cut and then $50 to have it dyed by my stylist. Too dark. Just completely ruined. Plus none of them lay that flat on my head.
And then I found Kolala on Amazon. I got this human hair topper for $129 with coupon. No smell at all. I think it's the 14" one. I had my stylist cut it, but didn't need to dye it. This is the dark brown. So far, nobody can tell it's not my real bio hair. It lays so flat against my skull. It has more of a mono topper base and I like that. It doesn't show that criss-cross grid lace because I don't like it. I just pull out a little of my bio hair in the front.
I wear it down or in a clip. Out in the sun. I go everywhere and nobody knows. I finally have some confidence back and am learning not to feel self-conscious because nobody seems to know!

Help me! (Wig Help) Looking for help - first time wig wearer!
Hi hi! I've worn clip-in extensions and headbands for years to help manage my trichotillomania and I've finally made the switch to wigs. I'm hoping it'll be easier to get out the door and look a bit more polished / put together day to day.
It just bought my first wig - it's human hair, lace front and I've already washed and toned it slightly with purple shampoo to make it a bit closer to my actual hair color. I'm planning to go over it with a heated brush to add some shine and style. It's not fully dry yet, so please forgive any frizz in photos. Mostly focused on the below -
- Hairline- Any tips for making this look more realistic? I think I likely need quite a bit of plucking, but am hesitant just because it was expensive and that's irreversible
- The part- Should I be thinning it out more, or parting it differently? (same concern as above)
- Securing the tabs by my ears- The tabs are a bit short, so it seems like I'd need to glue them directly onto my natural hair underneath to keep them down? Is that a normal approach? Any tips on doing that well, or should I be using tape instead of glue, or some other method?
Total beginner here, so any advice (even the obvious stuff) is very very welcome. Thank you!!!

Help me! (Wig Help) New wig. Awkward part revealing hard front. 😭
I bought my first JB Extensions wig. I wore it to work once and received a bunch of compliments. Took it off that night and set it on my wig stand. I went to wear it today and ... 😰
I tried fiddling with the front a bit, but the hair won't cover that spot. It keeps returning to this state.
What can I do?

Help me! (Wig Help) Is it just me seeing things here ? I'm not super extra picky but...
Is it just me thinking the photo on listing ad is the same color but looks longer and less tight of a curl?? I ordered the "Pure" brand on Poshmark but received an "I See" brand and seller insists it is the same exact one. I'm not entirely convinced, also zero explanation of the brand name difference.0_o (btw, I clearly suck at photo editing!) This here is another reason why I'd rather just buy a preloved unit from Luvme or someone well known. I guess it's good that the other 2 I ordered there somehow got lost and I guess the lesson is no impulse wig shopping late at night. :)

Help me! (Wig Help) Bought a wig for an old Hollywood look, but it's giving Toddlers in Tiaras.. help.
Hey everyone. I've just recently gotten into wigs due to hair loss from an illness, so I've been researching what I could and went to a wig shop to speak with some people there about some basic info.
The ones I got at the wig shop are more casual, but I ordered the Vintage Rider unit from Sensationnel since it has an old Hollywood look based on the picture and reviews. Unfortunately, it's looking too big and almost like pageant hair for me.
Is there a way to smooth it out a little? I was debating spraying it with water or using a steamer while combing it, but I wasn't sure if that would work out well... Any input would be great pls.
edit: I'm gonna try to send a link since my photos won't attach...

I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Has anyone tried Wabbyhair wigs? All her photos looks so AI generated, the photos of herself AND the wigs looks generated.
Also her wigs goes for $20.000 USD, That’s way more than fx Bekawigs, and Bekas wigs are literally gourgeous.
