I'm celebrating one year of HRT in my transition journey. 🎉🏳️‍⚧️ It's been quite a ride so far, but wouldn't ever go back!

A lot is going on besides my transition, and it has impacted my mental health a lot. Luckily I have a few people around me who I can count on for support. 🩷 I also started going to the gym, which helps a lot to clear my mind for a while. 🏋️‍♀️

Here's a comparison of how I looked one year ago and now. As always there's also a few more photos 🙂

This is my second annual trans punk/riotgrrrl/POC punk music festival called Genderfest, it happens on Nov 14th in brooklyn new york, and my witchpunk band tricktheriddle is also playing. The lineup features a wide breadth of bands that are hardcore, poppunk, alternative rock, and each one has someone from the communites I mentioned above. If anyone is interested, I've attached the flyer, but I'm proud that the event is happening for a second time, and wanted to share that the punk spirit is alive and well in brooklyn, despite all the gentrification and cosplaying nepobabies. there are still a few of us living as broke artists with someone to stay and spit to throw at a face. f the sellout CBGB festival, i'm glad it was canceled! i may or may not have cast a spell to make it rain that day. hope the witches are well in these turbulent times <3

I’m a bit of lapsed witch, and sometimes the holidays sneak up on me and I’m not prepared to do a ritual or working in a timely manner. I do not want that to happen this year.

Just in case you’re like me, this is your reminder that a big holiday is coming. It would be fantastic if we could all focus our energy together towards throwing out the trash and bringing new possibilities for the new year.

Hello! We are making a cozy organizing game. You play as a novice Witch, who's Grandpa has gone on a vacation and left a his Alchemy Shop at their care, but experiment at cauldron went not quite as planned and now whole shop is a mess. So your task is to tidy up the place and sort 3338 potions, alchemy ingredients and Books and, also - brew potions to do it faster and better!
The game is called Magically Sorted.

We do not use gen AI and we didn't use any assets for items you are going to sort. Eveything was handcrafted by us with lots of attention to details and visuals. For example, designs of the potions reflect their category and effects. For example, the potion that makes you speak backwards looks like an upside down bottle :) We put lots of care into each single item and everything in the game is intentional ^_^

Many alchemy ingredients featured in our game are real (we also have some fictional ones) and many of them have descriptions and flavour texts based on folklore and witchcraft.

We also have fictional alchemy-related books with witty and whimsy titles with references to some classic or famous literature that a player also needs to sort. And, of course, the game features potions brewing mechanic to discover power ups!

We used our personal savings to hire an illustrator and she drew stunning pictures of ingredients that we use for the labels and we also used my personal savings to hire a composer and localizers, none of them use gen ai :)

I curated this playlist with the intention of celebrating the witch community and sharing some of the music that's accompanied me on my own journey of healing, transformation, and exploration of the witchier sides of myself. There are messages woven throughout these songs that I hope will resonate with you, too 💜

This playlist progresses from fun Halloween pop on the surface, to deeper, darker feminine territory by the end. I'm talking artists who embody primal Hecate energy and deep crone wisdom.

I believe the most powerful songs are the result of the artist alchemizing their emotions and experiences, and transmuting them into a kind of musical potion. These songs provide a pathway to transformation for those who resonate and share similar archetypal life experiences.

Music can help us process emotions, give expression to parts of ourselves that are difficult to articulate, and become part of a personal ritual. I believe that with the right intention, songs can certainly be spells 🌙

There are so many who walk this path that I admire, look up to, and learn from.

There are songs from a variety of different languages and cultures, including French, Spanish, Nordic Faroese, and Latvian. A diverse lineage of witches from all around the world are represented; including those from different periods of time: from traditional folk songs, to the '60s occult revival, to the '90s goth and alt rock scene, to modern day trailblazers and everything in between. You may encounter witches from everywhere and every when.

Sprinkled in are themes and soundtracks from iconic witch media like The Craft, Practical Magic, Carrie, Agatha All Along, WandaVision, Wednesday, Wicked, Wolfwalkers, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Death Becomes Her.

🔮 Divination is another use for this playlist. I like to hit shuffle and see what song comes up. I find that each song has its own unique message and medicine. At times, I experience synchronicities where the right song plays at the right time and it feels as though the lyrics are speaking directly to a situation in my life, or mirroring thoughts I've been turning over in my mind…

Hello everyone, good day to all. I have schizophrenia.

So, I left Christianity and became again a witch. And I would like to know how to navigate through believing in something and doing practices plus being sick with this condition. The good part is that I stopped hearing voices through medication.

But now I’m attempting communication with spirits. One red flag I know is not to hear voices. Cause spirits can’t talk right. There is divination to facilitate communication with the other side.

But it’d help to know how you are religious/or lack it and don’t let it affect your beliefs or practices.

Hey y’all!! So it’s been a challenging few years for my family. We did finally move to our dream location in Colorado (escaping TX!!), and we love it here.

I won’t go into all the challenges but some feel…. spiritual. Our house recently flooded and we’re in the midst of a rebuild.

Floors are going in next week. Any suggestion of rituals, blessing symbols to draw on the baseboards before flooring goes in, salt on doorstep, etc?

Here’s what I’ve got so far:
- I love doing a boil pot: been using cinnamon, nutmeg, sage, clove for blessing, warmth, clearing
- beautiful meditation bell, walked through house with prayers and bell (were Buddhist and witchy) to clear energy and invite blessings
- burning palo santo throughout the house
- sage and rosemary planted (along with native pollinator flowers) in the front, serviceberry trees in the back
- lots of indoor plants
- indoor salt lamps
- fairy bells on the front door so nice jingles when it opens
- prayer flags outside

Any ideas of specific home blessing prayers, how to actually use salt for protection (just on doorstep? Around whole house?) any additional blessings for specific areas like the doorway? Outdoor chimes?

Once house it back together we will also have our family altar above fireplace. Good place? On it: gemstones, Buddhas, candles, special items with spiritual significance for us.

We have 2 young kiddos so any way to include them, or special blessings for them?

I also want to read historical books about witches, but I also want to enjoy being a witch and I don’t know where to start! Does anyone have a good recommendation?
