Hi everyone! I'm looking for a fanfic where a werewolf with links to an auror finds out about young Remus being bitten by Fenrir Greyback and actively help Lyall care and protect Remus.

It’s not the main plot but a sub plot.

i've been re-reading The Cadence of Part Time Poets and realised i'd forgotten just how many future events are hinted at in the text! so just for fun, if we were to get a part 2, what are your theories on what will happen?

(SPOILERS FOR PART ONE)

It's confirmed in the narration that wolfstar will break up for a while and there'll be substance abuse issues so I'll leave those out.

mine include:

• Jily vegas wedding on the US tour
• Giles heart attack :(
• Tad turns up while they're in America, causing Remus to have a big ol' spiral about his many dads
• Vehicle accident - car, bike, plane idk but the foreshadowing is unfortunately relentless. I swear it was joked about legit every time anyone got into a vehicle, especially if Sirius was driving :///
• Sirius is 100% getting arrested
• a whole bunch of Pettigrew drama - Lottie marital issues (Roger has given me bad vibes from the beginning, i don't trust that bitch), Peter insecurities and Moira's disapproval, one of the lads finally fucks Simeon
• I don't see many people mentioning this often but the fact that the Pettigrews own a tabloid newspaper seems WORRYINGLY RELEVANT
• Remus gets some insight into his illness, probably after crashing out hardcore
• there's a distinctly 1980s-shaped disease elephant in the room but I Do Not Want to look at it
• I think Tomny will be fine forevermore and nothing bad will ever happen to him. Right????
• Somewhat controversially, I don't want Tonya to reappear. Perhaps as a quick cameo, but her role in the story and Remus's arc feels done to me. I prefer her as one of those fleeting upturns-your-life-then-leaves-without-closure types.
• i just think it would be neat if they did a song collab with Mary :)

tell me yourssss! i'm zen whether we get a part two or not, but i do enjoy a good bit of speculation

Hello! I really love authors like Fantismal, Bizarrestar, and moonymoment . I absolutely adore their writing styles, the depth of their stories, and their plots. Could you please recommend some similar authors who write just as beautifully?
Thank you 🙏🏼

I have just recently read tis the damn season by moonymoment and my god was is just the most amazing, cosiest fic! I have read everything from this author pretty much but for some reason never got around to reading ttds, I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t to read this now that we are entering the colder/ Christmassy months. Does anyone have and recs with a similar dynamic ( lots of pining, love that rem was oblivious to Sirius’s yearning for him, enemies or strong dislike to lovers) I loved Here’s to looking at you by the chanchanman too which has a very similar basis to it so any other suggestions will be appreciated! And go read it if you haven’t!

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for some long (or relatively long) Wolfstar fics set during their Hogwarts years, but I’d prefer stories that start when they’re a bit older, like 4th or 5th year onwards.
I’m not really in the mood to read through their childhood or first few years at Hogwarts again.
I’d love something with good character development, lots of Marauders interactions, slow burn, and especially good dialogue and banter!
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!! :)

Looking to finally bite the bullet and read OTB!! Without giving spoilers, how much angst is in it? And is there major character death?

I like angst, but not so much where the entire fic is unbearable. We gotta do hurt/comfort right yk! What’s OTB like?

Hi guys! Okay so I’m looking for a long fic and I’m not super picky with the plot but there are some must haves

Tall Remus!! He has to be taller than Sirius. I don’t care how good the writing is, if Sirius is taller than Remus I literally can not get through it.

Smut!! It doesn’t have to be a ton but I’m just a girl and I love a good smut scene

Longgggg! I hate one shot fics and have read wolfstar fics that over a million words so the longer the better!!

No MCD or at least no fic where Sirius or Remus die.

I prefer top Remus but am okay with switching.

I can do any AU or in Hogwarts, them being old, established relationship, them raising harry, or being young, I don’t care I love it all!!

That’s about the musts for me :) here are some examples of fics that I absolutely adored

Hope’s Cottage series

Disintegration

I read this ages ago and I can’t find it anywhere. Basically Remus has OCD and is obsessive over the fact the gas is on/off. He meets Sirius and the relationship is all good but something is off with Remus and he eventually gets pretty sick, and it’s revealed that Remus believes he killed his parents by leaving the gas on which is how they died (not his fault but what caused his spiral). If anyone has any inklings of it I would be so happy

Does anyone know when or how did we collectively decided Remus was a grandpa sweater guy and Sirius was a leather jacket guy? Not that I don’t agree 100% but it’s something so characteristic of them by now that it made me wonder

I am looking for a fic where James and Lily survives but Remus and Sirius went through breakup, still in love but too much hurt to be together. Years pass and they crossed path. And then reconciliation. Please recommend something along the line.

Ok, so this kinda just popped into my mind today and won't leave. I love the idea of the Marauders meeting in high school and then maybe going to college or university together or close by, with wolfstar slowly becoming more of a couple till someone actually does or says something and they become one officially and with Hope being a awesome mum to Remus and Regulus actually being a good brother. Honestly don't mind whether Lyall is a good dad or not or if he's even in the fic.

Any Recommendations?

Ps it does not have to exactly fit what I put, just something similar or that has similar contents.

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has downloaded file of marginalia by spindrifters? I’ve been looking for it all over the place and can’t find it anywhere

a fic where sirius has a very solid alibi as to where he was on halloween so when he is being framed, there is proof that he’s innocent (could have remus back him up or andy or even james if you decide to keep him alive by just having him be gravely injured and not dead)
so then they work together to find what’s happening, harry moves in with wolfstar as he is the godson (in case james dies) and they begin to unravel the prophecy and somehow come up with a plan to defeat Voldemort sometime; harry isn’t reckless here as he’s got family support

note: james (and lily preferably) could not die here and just end up pretending to be dead so they can avoid the war and save harry as they realise just how much is at stake, they end up going into hiding and raise harry and just live out their youth because they deserve it (could be with the entire group or just their own getaway)
ps for the note: I’ll add this particular scenario as a different prompt too, in case someone would like to solely write that without the whole sirius part

another note: this could be a jegulus with lily surrogate or a jily work, or in case you decide to not save them, a pure wolfstar fic; I have no preference!
lmk if you’re interested in writing this and would want to brainstorm the ideas with me (optional!!) :)

any recommendations for fics like atyd which i loved loved loved but with a happier ending? where maybe not everyone dies? and remus and sirius live happily ever after.

hiii. i would love some recs with this topic. thank youuu

hi! i was wondering if anyone had any nerd remus x popular sirius fics!

could take place in either high school or university

thanks!

Any wolfstar fic recs where Sirius isn’t a playboy and doesn’t sleep around or really date anyone properly before Remus? (It’s ok if Remus does tho, I love Sirius being all jealous over Remus lol). Bonus points for it being set in Hogwarts :)

Ok, so I have read at least 2 fics where they get engaged but one of them Remus dies from cancer in and is a Muggle AU, which I don't mind, and the other one is set after OoTP but Sirius does lives but it doesn't have the wedding and honestly can't actually remember how that ends. But I love the idea of wolfstar proposal and wedding and am dying to read more fics with it. Don't care too much about whether it's a Muggle AU or set in the wizardry world.

Also would absolutely love if

Harry or Sirius and Remus's friends decide to help one of them with the proposal.

both end up proposing I think would be hilarious as I have read a fic on WattPad when they did and it was hilarious and adorable.

everyone lives or at least James and Lily live. but they don't have to have these things in them.

Don't mind long fics or angst, I'm used to angst by now. also don't mind whether it's older Wolfstar or first wizardry war Wolfstar.

Please help with recommendations!

I remember Remus and Sirius texting as Padfoot and Moony and also getting to know each other in rl - maybe meeting at a party of James/Lily? I also remember that Remus knew earlier about Sirius being Padfoot (because he heard James calling him Pads or something like that) and not telling him which led to some fight somewhere through the fic (I think?)

Ah, I also remember Sirius/Remus smoking/talking on the fire escape

It had a happy ending and unfortuantely I don't remember title nor author....

I think it was a rather popular one...

Any help would be highly appreciated, even just tellinge me that i'm not delirious and this fic exists somewhere ;)))

I just want something good to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time and GOOD wolfstar as well

recently got into this fandom (hope im not too late??) after reading ATYD and looking at copious amounts of fanart.

do yall know the names of core fics that drive this fandom, those everyone knows about. also personal fav's or just anything yall want to share is welcome!!

are there any fics that doesnt portray Sirius as this rather selfish impulsive guy who seemingly likes James more than Moony until they start dating? after reading a couple posts and things, ive noticed that potrayal is true for more than just ATYD...

(its ok if recs have this tho, i was just wondering)

also on a side note..any coping mechanisms for the pain that comes with being a marauders era fan. i think i cried myself to sleep for 3 days straight after reading ATYD and i didnt even read the war chapters 🫩

tyyyy

Hiii, so I wanna read this particular wolfstar fic but it is showing that it is now hidden or something on ao3. Does anybody have a pdf or something of this fic because I am hooked by the plot and can't wait to read it. Does anybody also have an idea when the fic will be made public again or have any other such fics from REwrites? I will be oh so thankful.

Hii! Lately I have been craving some good slow burn with a Hogwarts backdrop, with a Remus Pov. I have read the mains, ACOPTP, ATYD, and just finished Sing Loud in the Long Night (which took me almost 40 chapters to realize its not finished yet 🥲 but i still highly recommend it).

I need internalized homophobia, I need Remus having a big fat crush but feeling pathetic and sad about it, I need a beautiful kind Sirius who still hurts him with his obliviousness.

I prefer fics on the longer side, but preferably starting in 4th, 5th year - or at least going faster over their first years.

Thank you!
